Comments about R-Gear Duffle Bag- Medium Duffle Bags:
I got sick and tired of having to dig through any of by current bags to find whatever it was I was looking for, as none of them had any means to organize things (ie- pockets, zipper compartments, etc). The need for a better bag that would help keep me organized and allow me to find exactly what I am looking for in a hurry has become increasing important as this year's Ragnar Relay and my first 50k are quickly approaching. I ordered this bag, because of its many compartments, organizational features and it is slightly larger than my current Addidias duffle which generally fits all my stuff but gets pretty packed.
On my most recent road trip I also used it as a shower bag while on the road. It is plenty big enough to contain all my shower needs (and then some!), a change of clothes, and the wet/dirty clothes compartment is great for my shower shoes and wet towels.
The materials seem very sturdy. The zippers are hefty and the fabric is this cool looking semi-shiny waterproof black. It brings back fond memories of the sturdy black leather duffle that my Dad has carried around for as long as I can remember...
I *love* the compartment to put my shoes and sweaty clothes in. I have a history of horrible smelling bags from leaving my gym clothes in them while they sit in the hot car while I'm at work all day. What a briliant idea! Why have I never seen this before?
The "cooler" food pocket is another great idea. Even if I'm not putting cold food into it, it's still a handy place to store a banana or other food items to keep them handy and not swimming around with my shoes or dirty clothes.
Did I mention all of the great pockets? There are organizational compartments inside and outside of the bag. There is a nice long zipper pocket along the front of the bag which keeps things handy, but secure. It's great for keys, phone, wallet, mp3 player, whatever small things you carry with you.
I can't wait to use this bag more! My only wish is that it came in different sizes, so that I could buy them for different purposes.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
