Comments about Womens Vibram FiveFingers Jaya Running Shoe:

I started wearing VFF shoes five years ago, before they became part of this "barefoot movement." I bought a pair of the Sprint because I liked the strap that kept the shoe on my foot. I was in love. These were wonderful, except for the "collar" (back of the shoe) that dug into the top of my heel. I bought about 3 more pairs of Sprints over the years, in different colors of course, and wore them every day throughout the summer and fall. Jeans, shorts, skirts—doesn't matter, I wore them everywhere. But that heel would bother me occasionally, so I was a little annoyed... Then the Jaya came out this year with a PADDED COLLAR. Goodbye Sprints, hello Jaya! These are now my everyday shoes. They don't have the strap, but it's unnecessary. I just wish they came in more colorways (for some reason men's VFF have better color selections).

The two main differences between the Sprint and the Jaya are the thickness of the sole, and the amount of upper coverage. The Sprint has a thinner (3.5mm) sole and less coverage on top of the foot; the Jaya has a noticeably thicker sole (5.5mm) and more coverage. The Jaya also has rubber "performance" pads that the Sprint doesn't have. These all make the Jaya a slightly more substantial shoe, not as lightweight nor minimalist as the Sprint. BUT, the cushiony heel collar on the Jaya make all these other features worth it!

A lot of people stop and ask me about these funny-looking shoes. I call them my "gecko shoes." They may not be for everyone. If you really don't like toe socks, or don't like the feeling or look of each individual toe separated, then you may not like this shoe. But if you want pure, absolute comfort, ability to wear shoes that protect your feet from the elements yet provide minimal support, which really is best for your back, then these are the perfect shoes.

      Comments about Inov-8 F-Lite 240 Running Shoe:

The Lite 240 is a very comfortable, extremely lite and stylish shoe that is perfect for CrossFit. While I would not run a 5k in these due to lack of arch support like in a running shoe, these transition perfectly from a warm up to strength and elements in a workout.

They look great, keep your feet from getting too hot due to venting and plus I keep getting people to comment positively about them.

Comments about Womens Inov-8 F-Lite 215 Running Shoe:

I was looking for a shoe for T25, P90x2 and P90x3 which I do 6 days per week. At first I was skeptical because the shoe lives up to its minimalist billing -- it is so light and does not have all the support and cushion I was used to. But I love the shoes. They feel great during the workout and I didn't have any real muscle pain from going to a shoe with a lower drop. I definitely like them better than the old standard cross trainers I was using.
