What is the CVN and why do you need it?
CVN stands for Card Verification Number. If you frequently shop online you might also see it called CID (Card Identification Number) or CVC (Card Verification Code). The CVN is one of the ways that we work with credit card companies to make your shopping experience as safe as possible.

Is it safe to enter my CVN?
Yes, Road Runner Sports does not store your CVN number, even if you request that we store your main credit card number. That means every time you make a purchase you will need to enter your CVN.

Where do I find my CVN?
Look for a 3 or 4 digit code either on the back of your credit card - near the signature strip, or on the front - above the embossed number. It never shows up on receipts or on imprints of your card. The images below show you where to find the CVN on your card.
