Men's SAUCONY® PROGRID® GUIDE 3 :: The #1 selling Saucony® returns! The men's Saucony® ProGrid® Guide 3 now features an improved, padded heel cup for amazing lockdown comfort, thicker heel and forefoot cushioning that's even more responsive, and just the right amount of stability. 11.9 ounces
Saucony has provided a very good update to what was already an excellent shoe. I'm 6'2" and 180 lbs with a narrow foot, moderate pronation, and mid-foot strike. Foot size is 10.5 and I take an 11 in this model. Average 25 miles per week (higher during marathon training season). Previously worn brands include Asics 2130/2140, Nike Air Structure Triax, Brooks Adrenaline GTS series, and Saucony Omni 8.
The Progrid Guide 3 (and previous 2 model), in my opinion, provides the best overall package of stability, cushioning, fit, and quality. The standard width fits perfectly on my narrow foot which normally requires a "B"/Narrow model from other manufacturers.
Already have put 50 miles on these and could not be more pleased.
The one downside is that the tongue on this model is a bit short and I'm not a big fan of the flashier styling that seems to be trend right now amongst many shoe companies.
Hope the above helps.

Shoes that go "squish"
First and foremost, I like these shoes. These (and the Guide 1s I had previously) are and were my "go to" shoes for long runs. They fit well, and have been comfortable and blister free, averaging about 39 miles/week over the past year. They do have one significant flaw though: foot perspiration stays in the shoe. I noticed this in the previous model, and in this it seems to be worse -- after just 7 or 8 miles at 80 degrees and 50% humidity, the shoes literally slosh with each footfall. In a less demanding climate, I'm sure they'll do well, but I'm looking for a different shoe to finish out the summer in the South.
Really good shoes
I have to say, the Shoe Dog picked a great shoe for me! I went in to my local RoadRunner store and was fitted for these. The staff was great, and very helpful and attentive.
I have been an avid Asics and Nike shoe lover for years, but now that I have been running in these shoes, with NO discomfort, NO pain, I have to say, I am going to get another pair for backups so once I wear out the first pair I will have another pair. These are my first Sacouny's ever too, and I love them!
I am running on the road/pavement mostly, and some trails on the weekends, I run about 18 miles per week in these shoes, I'm 6ft tall and 186lbs, and they have been great since I got them back in June 2010. They have Good pronation control, good cushioning, and they just feel good on my feet.

Excellent shoe right out of the box!! Was told to switch to a stability shoe by my Physical Therapist because of hip issues. I have been running in Progrid Triumphs for the last three years. Decided to give the Brooks Adreniline 10's a try and was not impressed, my gut told me to stick to Saucony and I should have trusted it. Ordered the Guides after giving the Adrenilines a couple of runs and have no regrets. These shoes are just as good as the Triumph and gives me the extra stability that I need. If your looking for a light weight, comfortable stability shoe you can't go wrong with the Guide. If I didn't know better I would swear that Saucony has a mold of my foot that they use when designing their shoes.
Great Shoe, I Highly Reecomend It!
Great shoe! I'm waaaay too analytical about my shoes and the way the fit/feel. After many in-store, at-home, on road, shoe & brand trials over the past few years, I'm settled on these Saucony ProGrid Guide shoes. The fit well and perform great: Laced evenly, good even cush on the strike, nice support through the step, good smooth but not over padded in forefoot, then a nice momentum positive roll-off. I'm a 6'3" 225lb 4-5per year 8.5mm Half-Marathon runner with a standard arch and I'm sold on these shoes. A "must try" shoe.

Comfortable with good support
I have about 110 miles on the Guide 3's and they have been nothing short of excellent. I had some foot problems with some other shoes but these have been super comfortable and stable since day one. Not too soft but good impact protection. Although, not ideal for the trail, they did pretty good for some rocky trail running as well.
They also seem to be wearing very well. No complaints here but I wish they made an all black or all gray model. I am not a big fan of the styles of many running shoes, but hey you have to go with what works and this one works for me. Thumbs up.
Good Transition, high arch support
This was my second stability shoe. I had Nike Structure 12's before this, and would consider them a more comfortable shoe. The Saucony's had a great ride, good cushioning, but the arches seemed very high. Also the stitching rubbed by feet wrong. I had to get a wide, and still rubbed a little. I had pressure points under both of my little toes. In short, it didn't fit my foot that well. After 50 miles in them I developed a mild case of Plantar fascilitis in the left foot. I switched to a NB 759 which is a neutral shoe & it feels much better.
I am 6'2" - 175 and run about 20-25 miles a week and lift...these are the best running shoes I have had! Great support and very comfortable! I have always used New Balance and wanted to try something new since I recently have been experiencing pain in my heal and my NB's have been wearing our much quicker? Glad I tried these - I have a low arch and these have been great (go one full size up) - highly recommended.
Comfortable and Supportive
So far the ProGrid Guide 3 has been quite good. I had a pair of the original Guide and loved the balance of cushion and support. So far these only have about 30 miles and haven't seen more than 5 miles in a single run. If they're anything like the original they will get even better after a few more runs. I'm 5'9" and 140lbs and these provide great support overall. I haven't had any ITB issues since switching to the Saucony line.
Good shoe for narrow feet!
I love the fit of this shoe! I wore two pairs of the ProGrid Guide 2's before switching over to the Mizuno Wave Inspire. Now I'm back. I love the support and lightness, and this shoe just fits my narrow foot a little more snuggly. The toebox of the Wave Inspire felt a little sloppy to me. Durability is about average for me (6 ft. 150 lbs.).
My Knees thank you!
I stand on my feet all day on tile and concrete floors. I needed a running shoe that gave my feet and knees a break and this one is it. Thanks to the guidance of the operator at Road Runner Sport, I was guided to the perfect match for my needs.

another good one from Saucony
got them to replace a worn pair of shoes that had been discontinued. Saucony always fits well and has a good ride. These are a little stiff feeling out of the box, but feel pretty good on the road so far.
Very Squeaky shoe
I am a runner averaging about 40 miles a week.
Have had these shoes before and like them.
The last two pair I had are very squeaky sounding when walking around.
Not noticeable when running.
I stil like the shoe.
Duke, the runner.
Very Good Shoe
This is my first pair of Saucony. I have run about 100 miles in this shoe and am very impressed. I am a heavy runner but the cushining has been good and the shoe has held up well. I have no complaints!
Winston Salem, NC
Good shoes at a great price!
I only had these shoes for a few days and I must say I'm impress with the way it feels from the cushion support to its breath ability, no complaints on my end and best of all, it's greatly priced.

Awesome, fits like a glove
looked for a replacement for former running shoe but also wanted to have soemthing for the gym and cruiser bike
Chris the cruiser
I would buy this shoe again.
I walk 2 miles outdoors every day. These shoes fit well at 1/2 size up vs my dress shoes. They are comfortable, durable and I would buy again.

Great stability shoe!
Great shoe! Went from Grid Omni 8 to this shoe and really like the feel of it! Good, stable shoe with a good fit on the foot!
Saucony ProGrid Guide 3
These are my second pair of Guides. They have great support and are quite durable . For the money, doesn't get much better.
Bought just in time to take to Paris for the marathon. No break-in period needed. Great out of the box.

I bought these sneaks based on advise from the Road Runner store associate. I trained in them for 18 weeks for my first marathon and completed the marathon in March of 2011. I like them and think they are great.
