Men's SAUCONY® PEREGRINE 6 :: Take on even the toughest terrain in the newest update of an award winning trail shoe, the Men's Saucony® Peregrine 6. You'll conquer any terrain with the new PWRTRAC outsole, while getting the same amazing cushion and shock absorption provided by the EVERUN in the heel. Adapting to varying surfaces will be a cinch thanks to the highly flexible midsole, and the unbeatable durability of the Peregrine 6 makes it a trail shoe sure to stand the test of time.
Features & Benefits:
Lightweight yet strong FLEXFILM upper: Allows for fewer layers in the upper for a seamless, flexible feel
Heel reflective in the upper: Allows runner to stay seen and safe
EVERUN in the heel: Delivers shock-dampening cushioning
Highly flexible midsole: Allows you to adapt and react to uneven surfaces
New PWRTRAC durable outsole: Provides exceptional traction and abrasion resistance
EBO protective plate: Shields the forefoot from rocks and roots
This is a great shoe. I love the new, aggressive outsole, which is a vast improvement over the Peregrine 4/5. It handles pretty much anything you throw at it, except maybe deep mud. There is nice cushioning for longer mileage. It drains well in wet conditions. A downside is that the shoe is somewhat stiff because of the rock plate, which limits its responsiveness on technical terrain. Also, I've put about 220 miles on my pair, and already there are holes forming through the mesh behind my big toe (both shoes). The outsole looks barely worn, though. All in all, I would recommend this shoe.

These are FANTASTIC

I've had these for under three weeks, and am already ordering a back-up pair, because I'm going to run these into the ground. 5 mile trail run out of the box- no stiffness or numbness, great, secure fit in heel and arch; wide and comfortable toe box. I have a high arch and wide foot, and these are PERFECT. Run on multiple surfaces since (trail, road and treadmill), and they feel great. Low to ground, responsive, but grippy. You feel quick in these shoes. Cant wait to bust these out in a 50K in the spring!

Overall a solid trail companion

Fantastic trail shoe! The outsole is exceptionally grippy and holds well even in muddy, wet, or snowy conditions. The EverRun midsole provides adequate cushioning for steep descents and pounding on concrete. I have a narrower foot and the upper fits like a glove with my thicker drymax trail socks. Even though I'm still only at 100 miles with the shoes, the upper holds up well against rocks and provides some level of water protection, though the shoe is not entirely waterproof. The toebox isn't restrictive and the tongue is hardly noticeable.
The only downsides that I've experienced thus far with the shoe are the laces don't hold very well and as such I've swapped them out for some Nathan lock laces so I never have to worry about tying my shoes. Also, the ankle support isn't the greatest despite the subtle 4 mm drop, so I do pay a little more attention to foot placement.
Overall a solid trail companion and I plan on acquiring another pair to add to my 'stable' soon!

Saucony Peregrine 6

I took these trail runners out for a test immediately after purchasing them. The trail had recently been rained on which made for a lot of loose footing. They handled the series of up and down hill action better than I expected. I especially happy with the lug pattern on the down hill portions. The lugs bit into the loose material quite well. My feet never felt tired or sore. Quite happy with the purchase.

New fan!

I bought these trail running shoes for my husband to try. I am a Saucony lover and have been for years. My husband was having a difficult time finding a comfortable trail running shoe. He loved his Saucony Peregrine 6 Trail Running Shoe from the start! He recently ran a 50 mile trail race with no feet issues and was very happy with this new shoes! I think I have turned him into a Saucony fan!

Not for very narrow feet

Pros: Lightweight and good traction on rocks and gravel.
Cons: Too wide for my narrow feet, leaving me with a disconnected feel.

Great Trail Shoe

I wear these exclusively for trail runs. The traction is outstanding and they are much more cushioned than the previous edition of the same shoe. It seems as if they have better protection from rocks too.

Sure footed

By far the most sure footed trail shoe I've ever used. In sloppy conditions I feel confident. Great show.

Would buy Brooks Cascadia 11's before this

Found cushioning less than Brooks Cascadia 11's. Did not like heel cup with seams on side - would have been a better fit if was one piece without a seam
