I purchased this shoe based upon a great experience with the aurora with bugrip studs. A fabulous winter trail shoe that grips ice and packed snow better than any other shoe I have tried. And, it is very light. The Anima is not as trim fitting, and has a blocky fit requiring snugging the laces down. So I get some bunching of the shoe upper material. Otherwise, it is light, has a grippy non studded outsole, and feels good. Like the Aurora, it will require some break in to form up to my foot. I will be able to comment in a few weeks, as I have only used it once. We are still in winter and getting slammed with winter storm Stella.
