I love this waistpack! I used to carry my phone in my hand and put my key in a pocket on my running pants, but my hands always got so sweaty and the key would usually bump my knee. NOW, I carry my iPod, cell phone and car key in this waistpack when I am running. I sweat A LOT and was afraid my stuff might get wet with the waistpack sitting directly in the area where my shirt is drenched with sweat after a good 10-mile run. So, I left the plastic bubble wrap in the pack and put my items on the other side of the plastic, in case my sweat came through the pack. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised when no moisture got through! The inside of the pack was completely dry and I did not need to use the plastic after all! I wear this waistpack every time I run now, which is several times a week, and also bought my daughter one for her runs too! Now, my hands are free and I wonder how I ever survived without it!!
Good things DO come in small packages
I find that this product is perfect for my daily run/walk and short hikes - holds my keys, my cellphone, id card, some cash/debit card, and snack bar. Can't hold much more than that so if you are going on an all-day hike or walk about town I would suggest a larger pack. My ipod shuffle easily clips to the side. This pack is lightweight and very flexible. The only problem I see is that those with "more about the middle" may find it doesn't fit so well - not so ideal for larger waist sizes as it only adjusts so much.

I love it!!
I was looking for something to hold by Blackberry while running, & this is perfect! I'm a nurse & often on-call while running. I have to carry my phone, small notepad & pen. It all easily fits, but doesn't get in my way. I HIGHLY recommend this!! I have a small waist, & it was not difficult to get it to fit for me. However, it can easily adjust for larger people. I love it!!
I am a cop in the San Diego area. I use this pack to carry my off duty gun (Ruger LCP) while I run. The pack easily conceals the gun and it does not bounce when I run! And even with the gun in the pack, I still have room to add my ID, keys, phone and gel! This is a great product that I highly recommend.

Aphipod rules! they really know how to make those small pouches. I can carry an iPhone, keys, cash, ID, and Metro card no problem, and stays in place (However, I noticed without much weight in, they tend to slid around) I also got the latest model which has two gel sleeves on the side and they are good to go as well. Why buy the new one? Zipper is not durable and bust easy, so don't push so many items in like I did. Lesson learned.
I wear this on the small of my back. It can get a bit hot at times but it's not bad at all. The belt doesn't get too tight around my waist. I usually have a cell phone, small flashlight, and a 4 inch knife in there. The items don't bounce around at all. The only change I'd make is that the zipper pull is small. Once it gets cold you'll have to take a glove off to unzip it. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
This is a great product. I have ordered another pack that holds a water bottle for longer runs. Probably didn't need both. I am just beginning to become a marathon runner so I am pretty new at this. I am very impressed with Amphipod waist packs. High quailty that matches their discription.
Love this product
This light weight pack does everything as advertised. I like how things don't bounce around while you're running, even with my smartphone inside. The pack is padded so it's very comfortable to wear and provides protection inside. I use it bike riding as well.
I used this for the first time today for a half marathon. It held my gels and keys just fine. Since I hadn't used it before, I was worried how it would do. I put it on pre-race, started running, and forgot it was there! It didn't budge an inch! It even held the ends of my shirt down, and provided a convenient place to clip my ipod. Love it, and will definitely be using it again.
Good for a Few Small Items
I purchased this to replace my existing 5 year old waistpack. Amphipod's waistpack is extremely comfortable; you will barely notice it is there. It has exceptional padding and will protect most anything you place in it as long as you don't forcibly impact the pack in some way.
I only have one issue with Amphipod's waistpack, but it's a showstopper for me - the pack has very limited space. I usually carry my cell phone with me (Runkeeper), Carmex, and 1 or 2 gels if I'm running longer distances. The only way I can get my cell phone in the pack (Samsung Galaxy S3) is to remove it from the case and then it's still a tight fit and there is very little room for anything else after that. I would get an armband for my phone, but I really have no desire to have multiple bags hanging off of me. If you only need to protect or carry a few small items, then I highly recommend this pack, otherwise you need to look elsewhere as I am now.
I've included a photo of the pack with my phone and a bag of Sports Beans in it so you can make your own determination on the available space.

have enjoyed it so far
I have used the pack about 5 times so far. The waist band is made of an elastic material that of course will stretch. I found the tighter I have it set the less movement I get even though there is not much movement at all anyways. I did notice during the Country Music Marathon a few weeks ago that the strap rubbed a spot on my hip. The next weekend I ran an ultra and put a little Body Glide around my waist and didn't have that problem. As far the amount of space that it has, well I can put about 4-6 extra Hammer Gels in the back pocket and a snack size zip-loc bag of Endurolytes, biofreeze packets, a few baby wipes in the front pocket. Even though this sounds like a lot of stuff I wish it would expand out just a little more, but that is what I have my hand held Nathans Water Bottles with a zip pocket for... I went on a solo 40 miler with this pack and I could carry almost everything I needed for that distance.
All together I think this is a great marathon, 50K belt, and would also be perfect for walkers.
Works well for running
I like to use this for my longer runs and it holds my iPhone, keys, ID and cash without feeling too bulky. I like to wear it around my hips and it stays in place nicely during runs without bouncing around.

Holds iPhone 6 with Mophie battery case!
I used this waist pack for the first time on an 18-mile run. I strung a 6-ounce water bottle with a holder onto the belt and enclosed my iPhone 6 with a Mophie battery cover. I also inserted a Shot Block package and a gel into the mesh portion. It rained a fine mist during my entire run, and none of the contents of the waist pack got wet. I wore the pack low on my hips, and it was very comfortable. Three times I had to adjust and tighten the belt because it loosened. It would probably fit a larger person better. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs. with 35" hips and 26" waist. I was happy enough with the belt that I'll be wearing it for the NYC Marathon!!!!

I would buy this product again!
Was looking for a small waist pack to put my phone when running (I just hate the arm bands), and this was a great choice. I can plug in my ear phones and listen to music while running and you don't even know it's there. I have one of the thick Otter Boxes on my iPhone 5S and I do have to make sure my phone is properly placed in order to easily zip it shut. A thinner case would be no issue. Although there is a certain degree of elasticity to this pack, I'm pretty sure any phone larger than this would have a difficult time fitting in this waist pack. I've also used on vacation recently to carry my drivers license, credit card, a lil cash and lip balm. Worked great! Quality is great, very comfortable, and I highly recommend.

Best I've tried so far
I use this to carry my keys, id and phone when I am running. It rarely slips and my stuff doesn't get soggy from sweat due to air flow from the mesh. Also, I don't sweat a lot under it. I live in a hot humid area so this can be an issue. It is also soft and painless to wear, except if you sit and clip pokes you in the back. I also run with a dog leash around my waist, I have noticed that the dog leash started fraying the belt after a few miles. The belt is probably not good for rough terrain. If you are using it for road or cleared trails it is wonderful, just don't add a dog leash to the mix.
Worked Great for First Marathon!
During first marathon training had a hard time deciding where to put gels. Experimented during long runs and found this to be the best and most comfortable product. No bounce or ride up the waist if you tighten it well. The pack can be moved; I wear it on the right hip. It actually provides a good reminder to rotate the hips when running, one of the key elements of good form. Fits up to 5 Clif Shot gels, and some folded cash and a key. Beware it's very easy to lose cash if you stuff too many gels and then yank them out during a run.
I happily used for first marathon then got on bus back to start and was completely unaware I still had it on.
Btw, I am 39 yo male, 155 lbs.

Good Product for running
I use this to hold my ipod nano and mobile phone when running. The holder is very secure and does not bounce while running. It does not feel like I have in on when I am running,

Great little pack!
As others have stated, this pack is super comfortable with no movement once you adjust it for your waist. No movement! I forget it's on once I get going. Low profile enough to wear under layers. It fits my iPhone, some kleenex, a key and my skinny mace (though that peeks out from the pocket if I carry my phone in the pocket also). Not really room for much else but I don't need to carry much else in it on a run. Belt is wide enough to not dig into my waist or create any bulging. Very well made quality material.
Great for traveling and/or short distanc
Use it to carry my phone, money and ID during short runs... I don't even feel it is there...
Light and unobtrusive
I was looking for a way to free up my hands from my phone which I use for music and as a GPS running computer. My Samsung Galaxy Nexus fits nicely in the pouch and would still have some room for gel etc if need be. The neoprene belt can be made to be quite snug. I haven't tried to put a water bottle on it yet but I think it could support a small one without too much bounce. All in all this was exactly what I was looking for.
Fantastic! Just what I was looking for.
I bought this when I was looking for a way to carry my phone with my while running or rollerblading. I tried an arm band but it felt bulky and wasn't comfortable. This waistpack is exactly what I wanted...it's very comfortable..doesn't bounce and jiggle around..in fact I hardly notice it's on. I've even used it for mowing the lawn just so I can listen to Pandora on my phone while mowing. :) I love it!!
Stays in PLACE
I really was impressed with this pack. I've worn several "fanny-type" running bags for years and I like this one the best. It isn't as big as I would like, but it will hold a smart phone, keys and maybe one other small item. What I like the best is the stretchy belt. I've never seen that before so it makes the bag very comfortable to wear and it does NOT BOUNCE at all!
Comfortable and light
I use this on my runs to carry my cell phone (iphone 5 with a case), keys, and money. It's very comfortable and light (I forget I'm wearing it sometimes), but the pouch doesn't expand so the space is limited. I carry my water bottle, so I'm not sure if it will go well with another belt, especially if you have a smaller build.

Great Price [...]
[...]The prices are ALWAYS competitive.Thank you so much; I'll be ordering from you for years to come!
I use this waistpack when I run outside. I holds a phone, keys, and ID easily. After putting it on, you forget that it is there. It is compact, light and fits against the small of your back. I live in Florida, and it is not hot when I wear it. Bought it because it was the "daily treat," but now I do not know what I would do without it.

Works great as runner's wallet
I have used this for over 3 years as my daily runner's wallet for carrying a credit card, key, inhaler, iPhone 7. Has two separated pockets for keeping keys separate from phone. The second pocket is accessed from inside the zipper and works for carrying thicker, larger items like eye drops, inhaler. Use it every day and love it. Thank you!
purchased this for my runs when i want to bring my phone along. the phone fits fine, as well as keys, id, gel, etc but i couldnt get it to ride comfortably, i tried low, high, tight, loose, it always slid up or bounced around. works okay only if i strap it outside a fleece or tuck it into my tights ( not the most pleasant). disappointed.

I really like this product.
I like it. It fits tight against my body....light and waterproof.
Nice pack, if worn by itself
Love all Amphipod products, and this is no exception. Very sturdy and comfortable, nice room in pack for cell phone, gels, keys. I did send back though because this, along with my Amphipod hydration belt was just too much stuff around my 27" waist. Would be great if using alone or in conjunction with hand-held hydration or a camelback.
This Amphipod Waistpack does everything it advertizes!
I bought it to keep my iPhone 5s, ID, Money and other stuff dry and secure on long runs and races, and it fits everything comfortably. It does not chafe or bounce. I even use it now on hikes and other activities.
I highly recommend this product!
