I really love this!

I run long distances and trained all last year for a marathon with a hand-held water bottle. I live in Mississippi and training here throughout the summer can be dangerous because of the heat. I decided to try this one because I just needed a change. I was very skeptical that I would like it. The first time I ran with it, I felt burdened by it, but now that I have gotten used to it, I will not take a long run without it. I just needed to find a comfortable spot for it to sit on my waist. Once I got that figured out, it was great. I really don't even think about it anymore; literally forget it's there. I love the zipper pocket on the back. It's perfect for my gels. The bottle is easy to slip in and out and it's easy to drink from. I have another belt that I wear sometimes to hold tissues, phone etc. and I can wear both at the same time with no problem. The only drawback is that the bottle is smaller and I do need to refill it on runs longer than 7 or 8 miles. Luckily, I usually have the opportunity to do this where I run. I'm very pleased with this product and I'm thinking of buying one for my daughter.

Hard to get the fit right

2

I used this yesterday on a 6-mile run in the woods. I'm returning it tomorrow. The water bottle was pretty easy to get in/out once I got used to it, and a perfect size, but the big problem was that the belt straps are not elastic. They are adjustable, but to get them to the point where the water bottle did not bounce, it had to be worn tight and high at my true waist. I felt like it affected my ability to breathe properly. When I tried wearing it looser it bounced and was abrasive. When I tried it tighter around my hips, it rode up and bounced. The pocket is also too small for a cell phone and a weird shape that barely fit my car key/fit bit/pepper spray. I have the Amphipod Airflow Stretch Belt and love it, but this lacked all the things I love about the fit/expansion of that.

Very comfortable

Training for first 1/2 marathon, I was looking for a running belt that was lightweight and small enough for my needs. I chose the 12 oz. bottle size as that is all I felt I needed for the distances I run regularly. This belt sits comfortably along my lumbar (no bouncing or rubbing), and the belt around my waist does not rub or become intrusive. The zipper pouch is a tad small (my cell phone does not quite fit all the way in), but it holds just about everything else I need. I would not hold that part against my overall rating as I said earlier, I wanted something small in size.

I love it

This belt fits very well. It's easy to adjust and it's comfortable around my waist. My previous belt - an Amphipod Profile Ultralite - was far too stretchy, and I had to stop periodically during my runs to tighten it up. The belt material on this belt is not very elastic, which is a good thing, and it's easier to adjust. I also like having a single water bottle centered on my back, where it fits snugly and is is well balanced. The built-in pocket is big enough for keys and a few personal items but not a phone. I add a rapid access pouch to the belt when I want to carry my phone on a run.

Works well, fits well

I like the belt and that it has a lot of adjustment. It took me a few miles to get the hang of pulling out the bottle and more so, putting it back in. I like the larger volume as I have to pour water on my head sometimes to cool down. I wish the belt was not as wide because I have a short waste and it seems a bit large on me. It does stay in place well and I experienced no flopping or rotating. I wore it over my tank top but would have liked to wear it under my shirt instead but I was worried about abrasion. Maybe I will try that next time.

Great! No bounce - good quality

This thing does not bounce. I intend to use it for 6 - 10 mile runs. Perfect bottle size for this. Used it on one halfmarathon, worked well, no bounce, after a few minutes you don´t notice it anymore. Lightweight. Only downturn: I find the expandable pocket not usable for gels as the tend to get caught in the net like pocket. Overall great product!

Just what I was looking for!

I am training for my first half-marathon and needed something I could bring out on longer runs. I've never used a belt before, mainly due to concerns over bounce and noise. I'm happy to report I had neither issue while using this belt! The 12oz. bottle is the perfect size (every other belt I've seen is 20oz.) and nestled right into my lower back. No issue with slipping, bouncing, or splashing. Highly recommend!

Works for me!

I'm not a runner, purchased this to use for forest preserve dog walks. Can carry water along hands free, the squirt type bottle is good for giving the dog (and myself) a drink. The little zippered storage compartment is a bit small, could fit keys, id and some money. If you have a smart phone it will not fit in here.

Awesome product!

The best hydration system I have ever used!! No bouncing!! It beats out Nathan & Fuel Belt products. The only thing that could be improved is the housing on the nipple on bottle could be a little less stiff. Bottle is also easy to re-insert into hydration belt. Worth the money!!

Good, first water belt

I use this for running. My biggest complaint is that the zip-pocket isn't quite big enough, but I bought this on a whim and didn't realize that they were sold in different sizes, so that could be easily rectified.

Great for those who don't need much H2O

4

I don't drink a lot of water, so I was looking for something small. You do need to wear it on your waist instead of your hips to keep it still.
