Meets everything I need+ much, much more
The Gel Cumulus 15 is a one of a kind shoe. It's cushioning and mild stability supply everything that I need in order to sustain my hefty routine. Per week, I run between 40-70 miles. If there's one thing that I hate most, it's having to spend hundreds to constantly replace footwear. These shoes eliminate that problem because of how pristine they are. On top of that, they make an incredibly comfortable casual shoe once they can't be run in anymore. Unlike previous models, the mesh on top is softer, breathable, and more durable than ever before. I never thought that I'd be able to keep a running shoe for longer than a year because of the upper. As other reviewers said, the rubber on the bottom does peel and break off after a while, but the shoe itself still retains its intended fuction as a high-quality neutral shoe. It doesn't matter if I'm on my 1st mile in these or my 500th, the quality of these shoes meets my demands and gives me much more in return. If there's any shoe on the market, these definitely deserve a try by any curious runner.

Brought me back to Asics
Asics' Gel Cumulus 10 were my first pair of properly fitted running shoes, but I moved away from the brand when the 11 had a weird ridge in the forefoot that threw me off.
I'm recovering from ACL and meniscus repair surgery (soccer injury) eight months ago. Before injury, I was training for a 50K/marathon, two-day ultra (ran 18 miles the day before injury). I'm a midfoot striker who has always worn neutral shoes and always needs a wide width. (Not 4E, though; tried a pair that size in a local store, and it was too loose.) Most of my running is on concrete and paved paths, which weren't agreeing with my knee on old shoes.
These shoes took the discomfort out of running on hard surfaces, and they felt very similar to my favorites, Brooks Ghost 3 shoes, when they were new. They're very light but don't feel flimsy, and the heel drop agrees with my running style. I'm looking forward to putting big miles on these when my knee is ready.
As a wearer of Cumulus since 2004, I feel very little has changed with this shoe over the years. In the previous version (14) the first pair I received were stiff and didn't fit as I would expect. I tried another pair of 14s and they fit perfectly. This version, so far is what I would expect from my Cumulus. They are nice and form fitting in the mid-foot and heel, with sample room in the toe box.
In reading previous comments, I was not surprised to see that folks had some fit issues. Since I experienced something similar, I would recommend to others that if their initial pair did not fit well, send it back for another. It seems that there is the possibility of anomalies with fit.
As a note, I peak at 90+ miles/week and run 80% of my miles in these shoes.
The best cushioning
I've been running/jogging for 37 years. Have had to switch brands/models every few years because of design changes. Used Asics Gel Landreth for many years. Most recently have worn Brooks Ghost 5, but started having plantar fasciitis, even with a new pair.
Tried Cumulus 15 and was overjoyed. Plantar Fasciitis gone in a week. At my age I only run 12 miles a week, but in these shoes I am tempted to increase mileage. They are very, very cushioned, D width runs a bit narrow (good for me), and have great heel fit if you are patient and try different lacing options. Best of all they feel as good at the end of a run as they do at the beginning.

Don't go up a half size
I noticed the statement on the website that read to go up a half-size for this shoe and so I did. This may have been a mistake for my situation. I have a good fit with my right shoe, but the "Perfect Hell Fit" or "PHF" technology seems to fail on the left shoe only. Weird. I was assuming that I had to break in the shoe first before giving it a bad rating, but I am about 35 miles into this pair of shoes and I am having to over-compensate the heel slip by tying the shoelaces tighter. Overall, I feel that this shoe is a good shoe... but I would advise against the up-sizing.
corrects the defects of the 14
OK, the good news is that the biggest flaws introduced in the 14 are fixed - no more narrow toe box or poor cushioning. In fact the 15 runs more like the 13. The heel/toe transition is very good and the reduction in overlays makes this a light feeling, breathable shoe. I also like that the Cumulus maintains a hint of support. My only criticism after about 30 miles, is that the overlays don't hold the foot as securely as in previous models. It feels like my foot shifts a bit laterally as I run.
Overall the shoe is once again my go to training shoe, a big improvement over the 14.
Great shoe, price and awsome shipping
Bought these shoes because the NB trainers I had were too minimalistic for all the walking I do (2-4 times/week and 3-5 miles per). I also walk at a rather fast pace (14 min/mile or less). The cushioning in these shoes is outstanding. I can feel it in both the heel and the forefoot. They are light and airy which is good for summer. hopefully the soles will hold up to the sidewalk wear better than an older pair of ASICS I had.

One of the best I've ever owned!!
Love this shoe. After the 1st ten minutes with them on, I almost forgot I was wearing them. I have a narrow foot...size 12...and look for good arch support. Theses are perfect. Had a pair of the Cumulus 13's and loved them as well, so I took a chance on these 15's. I can literally wear them all day. These would be great to take on vacation where one would tend to walk a lot.... like Europe or DisneyWorld
shoe works if you need no support
I love the fit and feel of Asics. My favorite was the Cumulus 13 which managed to offer mild support while keeping the road feel and flexibility expected in a cushioned show. Unfortunately in their recent cushioned shoes, Asics has nearly eliminated the modest support forcing runners to pick between no support (cumulus, nimbus) or brick (2000,kayano). I worry that my supply of cumulus 13s will soon run out.
Comfort and Stability
I'm a huge ASICS fan, and have been running in the Cumulus for 2 years now. The Cumulus 15 update is even better than before! The shoe seems a lot more comfortable than before, but I still feel incredibly stable through my entire run. I actually added a few more miles per week with this new shoe, and have not been disappointed.

Cushion everyday running shoe
Am an avid biker but have added short runs for extra conditioning and time saving. Haven't worn the shoe long enough to comment on the wear but they provide good cushion - sized up 1/2 sz for length but, shoe has to be pretty tight not to feel loose - wearing a thicker sock now to compensate so, not sure sizing up was necessary? Overall happy with the shoe.
GREAT SHOE FOR THE PRICE
I use the Men's ASICS- GEL Cumulus 15 every day at work. I am a dentist, subsequently I have to stand and walk around long hours in the office working on patients. I wanted a shoe which was comfortable and lightweight with great arch support. This shoe has proven to be a great buy. Highly recommended to all customers.

ASICS proudly Rule!
ASICs shoes have a proven record with ME! Cushioning is the best and the durability is as good as it gets... As usual I order a half size larger to ensure a perfect fit.
I am not a fan of all the new wild colors...so I was pleased to find a basic blue/white shoe with everything else I needed.

Very little change from 14
This is a very small change from the 14. So far I'm a bit underwhelmed, it seems the 14 might have been better cushioned and a better fit for me. Perhaps it's still too early to judge, and it will be better once it breaks in. I need to compare against the new Nimbus to decide which is better for me.
Like Running on air!
I run 12 t0 20 miles a week, in mostly all weather(live in New England)all year!Had 3 knee surgeries, latest 10 yrs ago. These running shoes are the best. Been with Asics prior to running NY Marathon 1996, never looked back!
Best Uppers Yet !
I have used the Cumulus since Cumulus 1 waaaay back !
This Cumulus 15 has the best upper ever. Fits like a glove ( as most have ).
It's like a Track shoe on a training sole.
Great for walking too.
Solid shoe, very pleased
Very pleased with the shoes after a few weeks. I am getting back to running after an injury. 25-30 miles each week and so far, so good. Very comfortable and they feel true to size 9.5 D. No negatives to report to this point.
Great shoe for narrow feet only!
Running 40 years and avid ASICS fan, but size changes have occurred ever so often. This is a mis fit unless you size up and go with extra width. They must be using metrics to fit the new feet today.
Keep on striding

A little better each time
Running about 25 miles a week, the Cumulus shoes just seems to fit better with each new release. Offers the perfect fit, lightweight and with the cushion that I have come to like in an Asics.
Slow, but steady Chris
The Most Inconsistant sizing EVER!
oNE OUT OF EVERY 4 IS THE RIGHT SIZE AND A VERY COUSIONED HEAL. EVEN THOUGH NOT NEAR AS GOOD AS YEARS BEFORE!I'VE BEEN WEARING THEM FOR 20 YRS. AND CAN'T FIND ANY BETTER FOR ME . bUT I AM A PATIENT MAN.

Best Shoe Ever!
Finally found shoe that gives support and comfort that I have been seeking. No more heel soreness. I run about 15 miles a week and, at 70 years old, I need great shoe. This is it.
I have used the shoes for both treadmill and street running, they have felt great during the run and with inserts, have properly supported by higher arches. Loving it
Tried on the new Cumulus and had to go up a half size. I have found over the last 3 versions, Asics is not consistent with their sizing. The toe box on the 15 is much narrower than previous models. I will be switching to Brooks.
Super light and comfy but...
Ran only 4 miles this morning because the toe box was too small. It feels about a 1/4-1/2 size too small. Otherwise, loved the feel. Light and cushiony
Very good stable shoe
I use this shoe to run 5K and half marathons. It is very comfortable and not heavy. Cushion is good and durability is great. Price is great!
love this shoe
The cushioning in this shoe is great. I run long runs training for a half marathon and this shoe feels as good at the end as it did on the first mile.
good for any condition
good for both condition, either pavement, or trail. definitely feels lighter than the 14.
need more color
Coming from Vomero 6 and 7, Cumulus 15 offers greater support within a soft cushy ride.
