Features & Benefits:
FluidAxis: Anatomically correct deep flex grooves have been aligned to the joints of the foot, enabling the shoe to recognize, adapt, and respond to the athlete's exact load and positional change from first impact to toe-off
F.A.S.T. Drop: Similiar to the geometry seen in racing flats, a low heel-to-toe differential reduces midsole weight to improve economy and encourage faster running
F.A.S.T. Heel: Lightweight heel construction comfortably hugs the foot while minimizing structural weight
F.A.S.T. Sole: Minimal outsole material is positioned only in high abrasive areas
F.A.S.T. Ride: A firmer Solyte Midsole increases responsiveness and enhances the ride from contact to toe-off
Solyte Midsole Material: A lighter weight midsole compound that features enhanced cushioning and durability
Seamless Construction: Reduces the potential for irritation and friction caused by traditional stitches and seams
Good--The toebox has plenty of space to spread your toes. It is lightweight despite having a wide sole. The sole is not tall and does not offer alot of drop, but it is wide and fans out farther than my foot. I may have more narrow feet than some so a wider foot may appreciate this. There is not much arch definition so avoid this if you are looking to add some lift or support.
I was disappointed with the design. The heel spreads as you approach the sole rather than pulling in to match the shape of your heel. It creates bunching of the shoe. The sole at the heel is wider than the shoe its self. For a mid foot striker like me, this just creates too much movement and friction. Heel strikers, I suppose you may find the design serves you better but I only speculate on that. I like my shoes to be more snug in the heel.
It feels like it is designed for a heavier runner. However, they used light wieght materials so it does not hold up like a stability. Maybe it is actually a mens platform but thought by using pink it could pass as a women's shoe.
Overall, the design is off and I am just not impressed. Asics can do better.
Amazing transitional shoe
These are fantastic transitional shoes - I wear them on both road and trail for runs and hikes under 10 miles. They have a 6mm heel drop, so if you are moving from a heel strike to a mid or forefoot strike, they are a little easier on your calves than a full minimalist shoe. There's a nice amount of cushioning, but not a lot, so you have contact with the road, but can't feel every rock. I wish they had a little more arch support, but my knees, hips and calves LOVE them. Also, the hot pink is actually really cute and they were true to size so I didn't have to size up.

comfy right out of the box
This is my first pair of lighter/more minimal shoes and I love them. They have what I think is a typical Asics fit (narrower heel, wider forefoot) which works well for me. I have generally run in a more stuctured and cushioned shoe (currently Asics Cumulus) and I was worried that I would miss the cushioning, but these felt great -- light, comfy, fast -- from the very first time I ran in them. I am working up to wearing them on longer runs and have now gotten up to 8 miles with no problems. In fact, now when I run in the Cumulus, it feels kind of like a slog! Not sure yet how durable they will be, but so far no problems.
Fast shoe but material wears out fast
This shoe is fast! You do have to wear the tread down a bit though or the slightest amount of moisture will send you skating. The material isn't strong. I have a tear in my shoe after less than 200 miles. Comparable to Mizunos (my other favorite brand). This is a great shoe and I competely recommend it. Just be aware of the only two cons I found in it. Poor traction control for the first 50-60 miles and weak upper durability.
Running despite limitation
Great for Tri-Athletes
I've been running for a few years now and wanted to advanced to a more light weight shoe, and I'm glad I found it! I tried 2 different pairs before finding this one. I was afraid of buying such a lightweight shoe, but I feel comfortable enough now since I have graduated from bigger cushion/stability shoe and I know when a shoe will work or not work for me. I'm training for my first triathlon and this shoe is perfect weight for transition from bike to run.

So far so good
I just receive these shoes today and so far so good. They are super lightweight, which is great because I'm using them transitionally as I try to heal Achilles tendinitis due to minimalist running shoes. I was looking for something just a step above minimalist shoes and I think these are it. One complaint I have is that the orange on the purple/white shoe is much more neon that it appears on the screen, but I know colors on different computer screens can vary. Will update later if I have more to say about these shoes.

Love these shoes.
I love everything about this shoe! Usually I'm in dance classes 2-3x a week, with a weightlifting session or kickboxing class thrown in there, so the front half of my feet take a beating. Every shoe I've ever had has neglected that part of my feet in favor of heavy, clumsy padding in the heel. These are great-- super light but I feel very supported on the balls of my feet. They're also *adorable*-- I love the pink color.
Just what I needed!
I usually get minimalist shoes but needed more cushioning due to torn meniscus. Still light weight but just enough cushioning. I read shoes were 1/2 size big and that is true. I bought accordingly and they fit great. I forgot how much I love the gel feel. Ran 6 miles on first day and shoes did not need breaking in. Very comfortable running shoe.

I can run again!
I bought this shoe because the new Nikes I bought were causing severe foot pain and I could not even stand to even walk. I tried these on and never thought my daily foot pain would improve so quickly but after wearing these for a few days I was running on the treadmill again pain free. I think these might run a half size big but they are very comfortable for the price.
A little disappointed
I bought these shoes for training for a marathon. I am finding that they don't give me enough support. Since wearing these shoes, I have had more hip and knee problems.
Asics Tried and True
I love love love Asics, but this shoe did NOT work for me. The toe box is waaaay too wide. Ended up with blisters between my toes from the slipping and sliding.
Light as a feather!
I love how light and cushiony these shoes are. I use them in my Zumba classes and for running. So comfortable!
A bit Large
These were a bit large, so I returned them. The toe box was nice and wide for me, and I liked the lightweight feel.
I run 20-25 miles a week and these shoes are great. They are lightweight but still provide good support.
