I am a liketime fitness junkie, this is the first pair of crosstrainig shoes that I've use. I always use a running shoe for my gym workout. What was I ever thinking. This shoe has stability and traction for my plyos and lounges. It is light and sturdy, most important of all its comfortable.
I use this shoe for Body Pump and Body Attack. It is very supportive and has a good arch support. It runs true to size and has a roomy toe bow which is good for my long toes. I ordered an 11.5 ( my size in Saucony running shoes), but could probably go down a half size.

I have worn ASICS for a number of years. I had another pair of ASIC cross-trainers which I loved, but of course they discontinued them. I need them for TurboFire (plyometrics and cardio kick-boxing) and wieght lifting. The website's description pretty much said these shoes would be perfect for high impact exercising and lateral movements. I have worn these shoes for several cardio workouts, and the shoes are still too stiff to be comfortable. I have a narrow foot, and the shoe is too wide in the heel. But more importantly, the tongue on the shoe is a smidge too short and keeps slipping down the shoe. So now the corner edge of the shoe (where the laces tie up) rubs against my ankle. It's so bad that the shoe has rubbed my ankle raw, to the point of bleeding. I am so disappointe with these shoes. I've never had trouble with ASICS until now. I am going to have to order a different pair.
Bought these to use at gym for cardio classes
Like group ride,group kick, group step and boot camp
These were not comfortable and didn't think it was worth trying them at the gym
Stiff as a board
Very rigid and uncomfortable. Usual gym activities: step, eliptical, body sculpting, spinning, stationary bike, resistance training. Thanks you Road Runner, for letting me test and return them!!!
