The main thing I like about these shorts (I ordered 2) is the fit and the comfort. A lot of shorts have a too-tight elastic waist. This one does not. The fabric is lightweight and doesn't hold sweat (it evaporates pretty fast). I strongly recommend these. I'm a 5X a week runner in Hawaii where the weather is always temperate and these are perfect. Ok for long runs but would be practical if it had a small key pocket or to store nutrition gels for long runs, which it does not have I bought these shorts in red and the fabric bleeds heavily upon washing in cold water. I washed the shorts with 2 white running tops which are now pink. This does not happen with better quality fabric. I am disappointed by the cheap material New York runner New York Just right
