I love this shoe! Green is my favorite color and I can never seem to find womens shoes in green! This is my first Brooks shoe and I am more than pleased. I have always needed stability support but generally get it wearing a neutral shoe with an insert. The Adrenaline GTS 13 has changed that. This is an attractive stability shoe that I love wearing!
I never even heard of the Brooks brand before coming into road runner sports. I tried on every stability shoe and my two favorite were the Nike lunar glide and this Brooks shoe. I already had a pair of the LG so I thought I should try something new. I don't think I will go back to any other brand than brooks. It is perfect for my feet. Provides stability, great sturdy cushion, and enough toe room. I love them. I run up to 16 miles a week and so far they are great! Also road runners sport store has been the best shoe store I have ever gone to and will probably never go anywhere else. The way they help each individual runner/walker learn what they need is an invaluable service!
Super Impressive! Thank you Brooks!
I've had ACL reconstruction in college and always struggled finding the right sneaker that has the perfect combination of support, stability and comfort. I was turned onto Brooks a few years ago by a running sneaker specialist and he was right on. I went between the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11's for months and then the Brooks Glycerin 9's. Both did the job well. Then the Adrenaline 12's came out and since I am a 'read the reviews freak' I was not impressed. Now the 13's came out and the reviews that I read were right on!! Impressive from heel to toe. Great job Brooks. You definitely hit the nail on the head with this sneaker! I usually alternate sneakers every few days. With these there is no need! I've run on a treadmill and outdoors. Both a perfect ride. Enjoy!

My new favorites!
I've got the Brooks Adrenaline Trail Runners and they are awesome so I thought I'd try these. They are a lighter version of those and equally awesome. I've got bunion issues with both feet and these have a wider toe box which makes for a comfortable fit. They provide plenty of good cushioning without as much weight and a little more flexibility than others that I've tried over the years. Though I always rotate between two or three pairs of shoes when I run, depending on where I'm running, these are my favorites and will be my race-day choice of shoes.
Like heaven on my feet!
By the far the most comfortable shoe I've worn in the last few years (athletic/dress/casual, etc.), finally! I have a size 11 foot and tried the regular 11 first but it wasn't quite right. I switched to the wide-D version and that is amazing! I also have big toe-joint pain which is exacerbated if a shoe isn't stable on both sides - this shoe is so stable I don't notice my feet rolling to either side, they stay centered. These are a mesh shoe so it's not the perfect winter athletic shoe here in Wyoming but is great for dry days. I wish it came in more colors!
Best fit in an adrenaline yet
I have never had a pair if Adrenalines fit better, and I've owned a lot. Fit great with my super feet in, too. Love the happy green color. Had to return them and get the first pair replaced because after a month and a half, they were beginning to fray and split at the flex point on the outside of my feet, yes, both. Brooks often wear out there for me, but normally only when the soles and supports are genuinely worn out. True to their word, RRS sent me replacements immediately upon my calling. Hoping this pair is everything I've experienced with my earlier pairs because I love the feel of this version.
Love these running shoes!
I couldn't be any happier with this running shoe. I've worn stability shoes for the last 10 years, and during that time I've changed brands probably around three times. My latest brand had been Saucony, but with some of the most recent updates (Guide, ProGrid), I was encountering shin pain, heel pain, etc. I was at a loss as to which shoe to try next. I went to a local running store, and purchased a pair of New Balance sneakers, which were OK, but not great. I then tried Saucony Progrid 5, and was dissapointed yet again. I then decided I would try Brooks again, as I used to wear them many years ago. I really made the best choice. The fit is great. The shoe has nice cusioning and heel support- I couldn't ask for more. I'm running pain-free thanks to Brooks!
I love, love, love the Brooks Adrenaline line! But only the odd numbered revisions. It seems like Brooks makes a bunch of drastic changes to their shoe in the even number revisions and then goes back to the version before with only a few minor changes. Really weird but it just means I stock up on those odd numbers.
The shoe is totally comfortable and while I don't have much that needs correcting I feel good running in these. Even once I have worn them out past the point of being comfortable to run in them I can still wear them as walking shoes.
Brooks GTS 13 works for wide feet
I wear these brooks for my long runs. I typically wear a stability shoe in a wide. However I was able to get these without getting the wide (D). The (B) was a better fit. I alternate between these and my Asics and Mizunos. I only wish they made these in much brighter colors. It seems that stability shoes get the shaft on bright stand out colors. I think this I why people wear shoes that aren't made for their feet because they want colorful styles that are typical of neutral shoes rather than stability.
Great supportive shoes!!
I used to swear by Asics for running and walking. I have since switched to these Brooks after they offered the "supportive" attributes I was looking for, and of course, the color! These shoes are so comfortable and supportive. My feet used to hurt after running on concrete or grass trails, well not anymore. My feet feel great after any exercise. I have a bunion on right foot, and these are so soft (in regular size, not wide) that I have no issues. I would buy again and again!

A little hot?
I love Brooks Adrenalines shoes! Been running in them for years! I got these just before an ultra relay and ran in them 2x before the race. It's hard to say if my feet were just hot because of the heat, the pounding of the pavement, or the many miles logged. But my feet just felt really hot in these shoes! Ran in them again this morning on the treadmill and they seemed to do ok. I'll give them another shot this weekend to make sure they're keepers!

not stable enough
i am a lightweight runner who has used a different shoe maker for many years. that shoe maker is no longer making my favorite shoe, so i have been trying others to find the best one. when i first started running in this Brooks shoe i felt it had a perfect fit; however, after about 3 runs, i started to get serious ankle pain and pain along the lower outsides of my legs. i think the shock absorbing is not enough for me. i am a heel-striker, so maybe that is why. i switched back to my old shoes and got immediate pain relief. I think this would make a better walking shoe.
Not Enough Cushioning
I've always liked Brooks shoes. I prefer the Trance but beings as I couldn't get them in the color or size I wanted I substituted for the Adrenaline. I'm not please. The last two pairs I've bought has been this exact shoe because of lack of choices. I bought add'l insoles both times hoping for more cushioning. I guess I was hoping for a better result this time. I won't buy this shoe again.
I loved and walked in Asics for years, then started developing blisters. The expert at the running store recommended the Brooks Adrenaline as it was slightly more narrow in the heel. That did the trick and I've been walking blister free, and ordering from RRS for 3 years now. 5 marathons and countless half marathons! I thought it was great that the running store gave a 30 day guarantee, but RRS gives 90! Can't beat that combination!
Don't know why Brooks determined they needed to widen the heel on the 13. I have been running in these shoes for years as I have very narrow feet and heels. they worked beautifully. so, was excited to get my 13s. put them on, getting ready to head out for a run and had terrible heel slip. tried everything I could think of to correct and couldn't. so back they went and I started a two hour search for some 12s. finally found them in Steamboat Springs, CO and ordered two pair. really sad about this.
A fast ride for overpronators.
I wore the New Balance 858 for many years and have been adrift since their discontinuation to find something with comparable stability, durability, and comfort. And finally (drumroll) the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 13. What a relief. My feet track through the stride in a smooth straight motion. No more knee pain, hip pain; longer and more enjoyable runs. The bright yellow version is fantastic but seemingly only available in Europe. If you're a pronator looking to log a lot of miles this summer, buy these shoes!! They're brilliant.
Love my Brooks!
I love the Brooks Adrenaline sneaker. I use them for running outdoors and sometimes the gym. The first time I ever went to a road runner sports store, they fitted me for an orthodic and this shoe! The shoe is perfect for my arch and wide feet. It's like running on air everytime I run. I switched to the Nike Glides for the previous 6 months and I can say that I noticed the difference with the pain in my feet after my long runs. I like the Nike Glides for casual wear and walking around, but for running, Brooks is the way to go!
New York, NY
I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years. Why they change something that works for the people who are loyal customers, I have no idea. The heel cup slips, the toe box is narrower, I started having plantar facia pain, and had numbness in my foot. I tried a different pair (Brooks CSR suggestion), and I still got the same ill fit. I tried a Brooks Ravenna, but it did not have enough support. I tried other brands, but I cannot find a shoe that will work. I hope they quickly fix what they have done wrong to the Adrenaline.
Just what I was looking for
Never owned Brooks shoes before. Read the reviews and took a chance. These are just what I needed. I use them for steep treadmill incline intervals and running, and the stability is amazing. Maybe I just had a bad shoe to begin with but these 13's allow me greater longevity with comfort. Overall if stabilty is what you are looking for these will not disappoint.
I already had a pair of these adrenline s 13 , but I saw this new color, I do believe it was a limited color, saw them in a catalog, said I had to call to order this color.i loved my first pair of Adrenline 11 's so I it was time for a new pair , ordered my first pair of 13's , then had to have another pair , especially since I saw the new color! Love them!
They hit the mark!
I decided to give the 13 a try before giving up on Brooks. I loved my 10's! The 11's were a disaster. The 12's were cushy & comfortable, but not to run in. I was ready to go back to Saucony Hurricane, but the 13's are perfect! They feel just as good after a 10 mile run as when I put them one. The longer toe base made all the difference from the last 2 models. When I hear that the 14's are coming I'm going to stock up on the 13's. I don't know why these shoes are recommended for large people - I'm petite (100 lb) and these shoes are perfect for me.
I've Found My Shoe!
I'd been searching for a replacement shoe since I learned the Mizuno Alchemy won't be around much longer. After trying numerous brands and styles, I knew at the start of my first run in the Adrenalines that I'd found my shoe. I didn't think it was possible to like a shoe more than I liked the Mizunos, but I was wrong!
I was so nervous to change from my beloved Asics, but when my "go-to" shoe was discontinued, I made the switch. I will never look back! These shoes offer comfort, and good support without changing my stride. Although they feel slightly different (higher arch, slightly higher padding in the ball of the foot) than the Asics 2170's, while running, I don't see any difference. Looks like this will be my new "go-to" shoe!

Great light weight shoe!
This brand was recommended by my foot doctor since I stand and walk on concrete floors 10-12 hours a day 5+ days a week. Since wearing these my feet have stopped aching at night and waking me up. They are a very light weight and comfortable shoe. I am slightly overweight and don't run in them but wear them every day for work.
Only shoe I can wear
I have been wearing this shoe for many years. It is the only shoe that fits me perfectly. I do love that Brooks is expanding the color options. Love the new navy/lime look!!!
The only negative is the shoes do not hold up as long as they use to. I cannot get more than 250 miles out of each pair. I have contacted the company and they were generous enough to give me a new pair, however, they never explained why they are wearing out so much faster on me.
The Happy Runner!!
Love, love, love the new adrenaline! My favorite Adrenaline was the 6 (7 years ago!), but it's now the 13... This model is much more comfy with just enough cushion to ward off sore feet during a marathon, but not too much to feel like your feet are in mush. I ran a marathon in them and my feet felt ZERO pain, soreness or blisters after. Other than more color choices, I don't see anything that could be or feel better than this model of the Adrenaline!

They are okay
I just got the same shoe as a second pair. I unfortunately took the new pair on a 12 mile run and it was very uncomfortable, could feel the sole grids under my little toes... so painful. Just can't find that right shoe. Seems the ankle support is too high, I have callouses on my foot from the neck rubs. Otherwise they are alright besides the fact that will soon be retired.

DITTO! Brooks got it right.
I agree that Brooks "finally got it right". I have a high arch, wide foot and pronate. It took two-days to break these in. But once I started running in them, I could not believe it. My previous knee pain was almost non-existant. I had given-up on Brooks, and went to another brand running shoe. But because of the previous comments I thought I would try this new stability shoe. This shoe in my opinion is great. Brooks don't change this one!
My favorite shoe!
I have been a faithful Brooks wearer for the past 2.5 years. I was placed in the Adrenaline shoes while training for my first marathon and have been hooked ever since. Each model keeps getting better and better. I feel as though the shoe is getting lighter while not sacrificing stability and comfort-2 things I need when running! The colors of the shoes are very fun!
I am newly returning to running after a 7 year hiatus. I had shin splints, hip, and knee pains with my previous shoes. The professional running analysis and fitting at Road Runner Sports suggested these shoes. I couldn't be happier! 40 miles later and I still haven't had any discomfort past the newly-used quad muscles!
