These fit my new full size orthotics great. The cushioning is excellent as well. Doing a 1/2 marathon and they feel great on my long runs. I'm 6' 4" - 245 lbs and they provide a geed "ride"

Okay, been running in this shoe for 3 months now. I do find it funny how a shoe to one person, feels completely different to another. Take for instance the reviewer below that says this shoe is not soft but Sauconys are....well I find the opposite to be true. (Saucony's felt like bricks on my feet) Well soft, cushioned, who cares....I want soft and cushioned and I loooovvveee this shoe. Cushioning is excellent, my feet have finally found a shoe that feels like I have cushioning underneath. None of the other manufacturers top cushioned shoes did I feel like that was the case. Guess thats what happens when you strive for lightweight.... somethings got to give. Well I get to enjoy my running more now, pain free...thank you Brooks! Im buying a second pair.

Great shoe; One of the saleswomen in the San Deigo store put me in these babies (she has run 18 marathons, and knows her stuff) and they instantly felt like the perfect shoe. They are light, have plenty of cushion, and work great with my mostly neutral, mild supinator stride. They hold onto my heel much better than my previous shoe, and work well with my arches. I had tried other neutral shoes (waverider 11) but they just weren't the right shoe for me, even with custom insoles and were killing my knees. You are certainly paying for this shoe, but I can confidently say that I am getting what I paid for. Big Sur, here I come.

First, this shoe is of average weight not too heavy and not too light. Those that rated this poorly because of weight, I have a question to ask you. Do you not look at the specifications before you buy? Brook's Beast is a heavy shoe. Not this model. Why buy something that you know is too heavy for you? As far a softness goes. This shoe is not soft. I generally shy away from soft cushy shoes like Saucony. Hence why I purchased this shoe. My only beef with this shoe is I wish the tongue was more padded. Otherwise, it is a comfortable running shoe. I would recommend this shoe.

Good value shoe at the discounted price. This is my 2nd pair. Got ~600 miles out of the first pair, which is about 20% than is typical.

This shoe has great cushioning..nice step in first feel...I am 190 pound midfoot striker..I feel the shoe has above average responsiveness but you really fast dudes might find it a little heavy but then again you probably wouldnt be in the shoe to begin with..Handles my mild overpronation fine...the only suggestion to Brooks...if this is a neutral cushioned shoe for med to high arch runners..it falls short for those of us in the high arch category...easily corrected though..This is the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five...

5

Great shoe right out of the box. Asics went and changed the Landreth so I had to pick a new shoe. I went with the Cumulus but have been fighting injuries ever since. I typically run between 35 and 40 miles a week and will give an update next month on these shoes. This shoe showed great cushion and support during my first run. The shoe also fit my high arch well with good support and protection. The shoe is a little heavy but the pay off for the cushion is worth it. Also, this is my first pair of Brooks and I just might be sold.

This shoe wore well and no big complaints. I did expect it to have a more cushioned feel. I'm not a big runner at 150 lbs, but the shoes felt kind of flat in regards to the cushioning and compared to other cushioned shoes I've tried. I felt like they were a little pricey for the feeling. This was the second pair of Brooks I've run in, so I don't have a long history with the brand. The shoe held up well over 4-5 months.

5

Impressed. Had the Saucony Triumphs, then the Vomero4, which to me were vey similar.....and I was dissapointed in both of these top rated shoes for cushioning. Not being a heavy heel striker, closer to mid-foot, these previous shoes were inadequate....really didn't feel the cushioning. Also tried the Asics Cumulus but these Glycerines felt more plush and is exactly what I was looking for in a cushioned shoe.

Solid shoe with great fit and good cushioning. I've been wearing the Glycerin line for 3 years now and this version doesn't disappoint. I love the arch support and the springy cushioning. I'm 190 lbs, 6'1" and have high-flexible arches. these shoes provide enough stability for my mild over-pronation. I alternate with Saucony Triumphs.

ordered a pair of these after trying asics cumulus. the cumulus had bad heel wear on right shoe after only 100 miles. asics cumulus just left me uninspired after 2 mos. will update on g7 as appropriate. also, insoles on cumulus' were CHEAP. trying to find something durable that works well on asphalt 2 lane blacktop country road.

I have been using the Mizuno Wave Creations, which feel great but the heels wear incredibly fast. The saleswoman shifted me into these shoes and my sole pain increased quite a bit. They also hurt my back. I went back to running in my worn-out Mizunos and the back problems (finally) went away. Overall, a bad experience!

The Glycerins are great shoes. The mainly mesh upper vents them nicely and makes them light enough. The cushioning is the biggest highlight of these, with the heel and forefeet being very well supported with soft cushioning. You can literally feel the mogo in these at work. Really nice support with that.

Being a 202 pound heal stryker I completely love these shoes. Comapared to all the other shoes in my closet these are by far the best running shoes I've ever had. I feel great arch support and comfort. They are heavier then your Nike's or mizzuno but the comfort is the best

Without a doubt the worst shoe I have ever run in. I couldn't even get through 3 miles. The knee pain it caused was substantial and they also gave me shin splints. I have since moved on to Asics Cumulus 11's (and a pair of Kayano 15's). I now enjoy running again.
