It is a great device and well made product. Great on gluts and legs when sore or after a tough workout to help remove acid from the muscles. It may be too short for you if you want to use it on your back more than occationally. I liked it enough to puchase it for a gift.

Great for before AND after running
Use this on a regular basis before and after training to keep calf muscles from cramping. Just used this on the way to a 6 hour endurance run (while riding in the car) and immediately after the race. Did not have any tightening in my calves and recovered quickly. The only thing I would recommend is elevating your feet for awhile as well as I did have some minor swelling in my ankles, but felt like I could have gone for a short run the very next day. Small price to pay for a speedy recovery! Great product.

This product flat out works! It seemed too good to be true when I was researching it. This stick has worked out a prior chronic calf injury/issue I had which was affecting my Achilles tendon, and effectively stopped my running. in only a few days I felt relief, I had not had from months (maybe years) of trying to work it out through stretching and strength exercises. I bought another to keep at work. It is quick, 20 to 30 strokes per calf a few times a day. Buy one it works!
Travel Stick Worth the Money
My two sons and I have used the Travel Stick after our workouts. It does a good job of working out the kinks of our sore calves.
THIS THING IS AMAZING
I purchased the Stick because I was having a terrible time with my calves being so tight it was making it almost impossible for me to run. After one use of the Stick I had 100% improvement. I now use it before every workout and run and then in the evening at the end of the day. I have 3 different sizes now and I keep one at work. It's my new best friend!

These are a must have for anyone who has sore muscles in their legs and just cannot work them out. It's pretty small, I think this is best for small size people. I can't imagine going any smaller than this. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and it is just the perfect size for my thighs. I could have used a bigger one, but this is fine. I am glad I did not get the travel size!!!

A friend of mine let me use this one time. Yes thats all it took to go home and order online. [...]! I use it before a run and also after my runs three times a week. This is my first year training and running 5ks and I take my stick with me to every race. Love it!!

it's so effective. durable, too. moderately small size makes it easy to travel with if need be. this one piece has helped my recovery from long runs more than anything else. i HIGHLY recommend this if your calves hurt like mine did after longer runs.

Handy little thing!
Great stick to rub down those sore and tired muscles. I use it along with my foam roller. Sometimes, the roller is a bit much when you have to lay in awkward angles. This stick does the job. Totally recommend.

Whoa! Do I have tight calves! This thing really works. I find it easier to use on legs than a foam roller. I also use it on quads, hamstrings, and hips/glutes. Fairly portable, so you can stick it in a suitcase.

This is great for IT band issues and calves. It also is a lot more portable than a large foam roller. Works great for getting the spouse to roll out those sore muscles.

Maybe a little longer would have been better and easier to use on certain parts of the body.
