I have tried so many name brand shoes and I have always came back to the Mizuno brand. I fell in love with the Wave Prophecy 2 years ago and I have purchased only Mizuno's since then. My Wave prophecy 2's have worn completely out and it was time to purchase a new pair. I did not want to spend $200+ dollars again for a new pair of shoes. So I searched and thought I would try these. I'm so glad I did, It fits alot like the Prochecy, but with more cushion and a better toe box. Doesn't have that curved toe feel. it's an amazing shoe and a very close 2nd to the wave prophecy. It's comfortable and I did have to order a 1/2 size up. I have found that Mizuno's run a bit small, I am normally a 9.5 but I have to order 10 in Mizuno's and it's a perfect fit all around.
You can't go wrong with this shoe. I have a very low arch and almost flat footed, but this shoe is amazing and would def recommend to any runner of any level. I am still a #1 Wave Prophecy 2 lover, but this shoe is just as good and a cheaper price! Thank you Mizuno for being the Best ever! I will always buy Mizuno for my everyday needs and my running needs!

Long Time Creation Wearer
I have been running in wave creation for about 8 years now. I have had to alter my order size sometimes when they come out with a new model. My last creation model I was a size 9, but on this one i had to go back down to the 8.5 (I wear an 8 in most regular shoes). The 9 completely swallowed my foot all around. I went ahead and ordered the 8.5 not knowing if they were going to fit, but i am HAPPY to report that they fit great and look awesome too. They are lighter than the previous model and less shoe on the fabric portion which concerned me a bit. But I have worn them several times and have not really noticed it to be a problem. Hope this helps you who are searching! Still love this shoe!

Really Wanted to Like These
I love Mizunos and have had several pairs. I was running (15-20 mi per week) in the Wave Rider 16's but have had several running-related injuries this year so I thought these would offer more protection/injury prevention. When I first put them on, they were really comfortable and seemed almost "springy." But after running in them a few times, I just can't get past how clunky they feel. My feet seem to slap the ground and they almost force a heel-strike (I'm a mid-foot striker naturally) I will be exchanging these for the new Wave Riders. I think this is probably one of those "love 'em or hate 'em" type of shoe...just not right for me.

comfortable but heal a little wide
I run and work out a lot and I use these shoes for both - I've been using wave creations for YEARS and love them! I have lower back, knee and ankle issues and those areas love these shoes. The challenge is running they feel great, but when I'm cutting during interval training (suicides, sprints, etc.), the heal slips as if it's a bit too wide. I just have to figure out if there's a new lacing technique that I need to employ to tighten up the heal as I like wearing thin socks with them and I've been in a 10.5 forever.
Diana - workout depends on my mood...
I loved this shoe when I first got it. No break-in time, nice breathable upper, great fit, no blisters. My first test run was amazing and the shoe had a fantastic springy transition. Fast forward about 100 miles, and the shoe feels clunky. It pulls me back toward a heel strike, when I'm a strong forefoot striker. The cushion has broken down significantly, to the point where running more than 60 minutes causes foot pain. It's not a bad shoe, but the durability is really poor and it's not a marathon shoe for me. Just ... ok. I'll buy something else next time.
A Wonderful Shoe
I have run in the Mizuno Wave Creation shoes for over 5 years and they have been great shoes for me. I am a neutral runner, but like the extra cushion because I run long distances on the road. They are flexible, light weight, & airy. But still give great support & cushion. They are very durable shoes. They run 1/2 size smaller than most running shoes. For example, I order a 1/2 size larger than I would in a Nike shoe.

Not my wave creation 13 :(
I had the creation 13's and LOVED them. Switched to the wave rider and now tried to come back to the 15 creations. I know I don't have wide feet but my poor toes go numb in any run over a few miles (which is all of my runs!) Toes tingled and had to stop - no matter how I redid the laces I lost feeling in my feet.
I have given every try to make them work - bummer they will have to go back.
My third pair!
I've tried other brands of running shoes, and other mizuno styles, but these are my favorite by far. Ive gotten the same style three times now. I also love the color selection this site offers. They have been easy to break in, and feel just as comfortable at mile 1 as they do at mile 18.
These are now my favorite running shoes
This is my second pair of wave creations and I love them, they are perfect for a neutral shoe but still have great support. I'm 5'6" and weigh 125, mostly running on a paved trail at this time and average 35 to 40 miles a week . I get compliments on my cute shoes, looking forward to buying more colors. :)
Adds Bounceto YourRun
Just returned back to Mizuno after a year and a half away and so happy. Firmer heel puts bounce and support in to your step. I have worn these for 2 of my 3 half marathons so as I start training for my 3rd, I'm happlily back to Mizuno. I wear my regular 10.5 with these. I'm 56, 5'10" and 155pounds if that helps.

My new addition to my shoe family
I have knee problems but I can still jog now that I found these shoes, I still get sore but before I couldn't hardly move. I love running and didn't want to give it up completely with these shoes I don't have to.
Third Pair, won't run in anything else
I've been running in Wave Creations for years, I've run three half marathons and one full in them. I got sized at Road Runner and I loved them so much I keep buying them. They hug my feet and don't rub weird anywhere.
Love the fit, love the look!
I hurt my knee so I haven't run with them. I have pretty narrow feet. These are a great fit. I haven't had them long. I love the look. I am going to buy another pair in a different color. I tend to walk allot.
I love this shoe. I personally think that the design and make is better than the 14's. Comfortable, durable shoe. Love the new color schemes too...adds a little more spice to the shoe.
Not THE PROPHECY
Tried this, but did not compare too the ultra pillow and snug-like fit of the prophecy 3 and lacked the response the prophecy 3 has....not my favorite
I like the update! Definitely feels 'soft' for a Mizuno shoe. I do think the profile is a bit higher though. Overall happy with the ride.
I have ankle problems and I run on mostly gravel roads. These shoes have good cushion but have a good base. They are exactly what I needed!
I alternate between these and Brooks Glycerin 11's . Both a great fit, I do have an orthopedic insole in them. Fantastic to run in.
Great shoe for a heavier runner. Nice bounce back.
Love the color and fit
