I had been running in big cushiony shoes for 20 years, each time I would up my weekly miles I would get an injury and have to start all over. Like many people, Born To Run intrigued me enough to try a minimalist shoe as I found midfoot striking in my old 12mm drop shoes nearly impossible.
I liked that the Minimus came in 2E widths and looked relatively normal so I chose it to be my first steps into a new running style. Like other reviewers stated, it is very strange actually feeling the ground right beneath your feet, but it really gets you in tune with your stride and form. Heel strikes are actually punished with these shoes so you learn quickly.
300 miles later I am injury free and have run multiple half marathons in them and setting PRs as I go. My new midfoot strike comes naturally now and I've ordered my second pair on Minimus shoes. I love these!

I'm a runner I about 6 years. Two years very serious racing. The last few years fell off from running regularly. Was in VFF. Looking for a little more support, but needed something to build miles again. I wear them without socks, due to likely triathlons this year. Had to make sure I was in a zero drop though.
Feel a little splashy at first, probably due to the VFF for the past several years. After a few miles I felt comfortable in them, and still connected to the ground. They give enough to feel the earth, but not too much where I have to be worried about every foot strike.
I'm impressed with them. The arch support was my biggest qualm when trying on shoes again. The previous version of this shoe was too much arch support for me. Toe box is comfortable. The wrap style is very comfortable. And I appreciate the heel cup, snug and no rub.
I put 1,500 miles on the NB1010 Minimus last year, and I ran completely injury free. I expect the same from the Minimus 10V2. They're terrific for the barefoot running experience, with just the right amount of protection from road hazards (stones, glass, etc.). With forefoot strike and a shorter stride, my endurance has improved dramatically, but not my times. But what can you expect when you're more than 60 years old? I'm never going back to cushioned running shoes.

One Nit to Pick
I'm still sold, but . . . Some genius put a vent in the sole of the shoe, right under the ball of the foot. I don't know why it's there, but when I run on wet pavement my feet get wet. Probably not a problem in the summer, but in winter it's annoying. My fix: a dab of Shoe-Goo to cover the vent from the outside.

I love my new Minimus 10v2 running shoes, they are much more durable that the previous version with the vibram outsole that New Balance has added to their new Minimus shoe. They are lightweight and breathable which is great and I love how I can feel the road under me. They are great minimal running shoes.

Great shoes for circuit training
Although typically used for barefoot running applicaitons, I find these shoes to be to minimalist for that training. That said, they are perfect for gym routines that depend heavility on form resonating from proper foot placement up through the body. Love em.

Very light wieght
My jury is still out on this one. I've run in them three times and each time I've developed an injury. Part of this is likely due to bad form, but these are SO minimal they are practically a barefoot shoe. Keep that in mind when buying.

feel like slippes
I have run less than 10 miles and not more than 4 miles at one time. I have had foot pains and got the slightly elevated heel and have not experience any problems so far. These have been very comfortable so far. Time and distance will be the real test.

I want these shoes in different colors
These shoes fit perfectly and you don't need to break them in. They are very light and great for running. I also wear them out to the gym and when i go out to places because of how comfortable they feel.
Too early to tell
I have ran in these three times. No inserts, I have a little bit wider foot so inserts made them too tight. I need a little bit looser shoe. Got heel blisters from the runs, I set them aside for a week.
A fast shoe that gives you a great feel for the road. Easy to put on and take off, unlike some other minimus shoes. One that I would purchase again.
