Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

The 360 is classified inoorrectly. In my opinion, not a purely cushioned shoe. Therefore, not a neutral plus. There is too much lateral and medial stiffness (interpreted as "stability") to be in this class. If you like the Free, this is probably too stiff. There is ample cushioning, but the transition of this shoe is in a different class entirely. If you wear orthotics, you won't notice. For the purist cushioning shoe runner, try the Vomeros.

Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

After 100 miles on the shoe I've noticed that there are specific advantages and disadvantages to this shoe. On the plus side, the shoe is very stable and provides great cushioning. I've had minimal wear on the soles and don't see the concerns other reviewers have had. On the negative side, it took 20 miles to break the shoes in to a point where I realized I wasn't going to get the same sort of responsivenes that I've come to expect from other shoes. In other words the sole is stiff and feel like you have two planks of soggy plywood strapped to your feet. If you like to mix up your runs with speed work, hills, etc. I strongly suggest you steer away from these. However, if your goal is distance (slow and steady) then these shoes will do the job. However, there are better and cheaper shoes on the market that will do the same job. I'm going back to the NewBalance 1024.

Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

I'm 6'5" 205 lb. with high arches and D-width feet. These shoes work absolutely great for me. For the past 5 years I've been running in the ASICS 2000-series shoes, and I've experienced a dramatic reduction in the amount of soreness in my legs since switching to Air Max 360 II's. As you can tell from the reviews, these shoes aren't for everyone. But if you're a bigger runner
looking for resilient forefoot cushioning combined with moderate stability, these shoes are definitely worth a try.

I owned my first pair for a year and the only reason I'm buying another is my wife thinks my old ones look nasty. If you are over 180lbs these are the shoe to buy. I am 6'2" 205 and was in the Army for 5 years. I have run countless miles and these are the best shoes that have ever touched my feet.

By Bill C.

from Undisclosed

Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

These sneakers are junk. I have worn Nike Pegasus for 5 years and only switched recently to a more cushioned shoe due to increased training milage. The fit was good,(they felt a little stiff) but the biggest problem was the air cushioning at the heel cracked away from the sole of the shoe after only 80 miles causing one sneaker to go "flat." It compress a 1/2" more then the other making them useless for anything other then cutting the lawn.

Get some Free's first...I did and spent a few months walking about the house in Free 5.0 I then saw these on special ($100 off) and grabbed a pair , and I love them. They are sooo comfortable and work well with my full length orthotics.... the key is to use Free's first to get used to a new footstrike. I used to be a heavy heel, but now I am much more midfoot , which suits these fine.
V happy and they were one of three pairs used in 07, my first 1000 mile year.

Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

I'm a Nike fan. but these aren't great Nikes. While better than the 180's (which isn't saying much), the heel was very loose, with a hard rub point on the inside, and absolutely no support / guidance -- even for a neutral shoe. Good cushioning, average transition, but not a good running shoe if you are not a perfect efficient runner. Would not recommend these shoes -- even at a deep discount.

By Mike

from Undisclosed

Comments about Mens Nike Air Max 360 II Running Shoe:

The Air Max 360 is a polarizing shoe, as everyone seems to love it or hate it. I'm 6'2", 175 lbs, and the shoe supplements average comfort with great cushioning and durability. I'm on pair #2, and the first pair endured a year of running before it was time to retire. Others reviews mentioned how the airbags have deflated after 50 miles, but I've never experienced such a problem. The 360 is perfect for long runs--just comfortable enough and extremely cushioned--although I train in lighter, more flexible shoes for shorter, harder runs. It's an expensive shoe, but do the math: you can by a pair of $80+ shoes every 6 months or a pair of $160 every 12 months. It's all the same in the grand scheme of things. The 360 is definitely worth a try.

Good job road runner. I was in Chicago and your website picked the same shoe as Feet Fleet!!! I bought this show to motivate me to continue running after my marathon on the 25th (2 weeks), but it is so comfy I may just run with this. I ran 8 miles today and feel better then I have in a long time. No knee pulling and no ankle thumping. It also works with my Ipod and Nike+ device. Track my runs on the NIke+ site at zip 70433 if you need proof of mileage. Cool runnings people.

Tue, October 23,2007:
I run about 30-40 miles per week at 8 minute miles. These shoes are not to be used in any environments where there are pointy objcets such as rocks, thorns, stickers, twigs, roots, etc. The air pocket walls on the sides and underneath the sole is paper thin and will puncture with the slightest prick from a sharp rock or thorn. If all you plan to do is run on a track or through the streets, then these shoes are very comfortable and do provide pretty good support. If you do any trail running or any type of running that goes through gras or dirt, the air pockets will pop within a few days and you will be out $100 or more.

Great shoe for individuals around 200 lbs. I am on my 4th pair. The reason, the sole is not durable. 3 different pair have resulted in a flat because of punctures from rocks, thorns, or whatever. Just road running, no trails. I had one pair last almost 300 miles, but I really saw a decline in stability around 250 miles. If you are running on a track or the cleanest streets, then this is your shoe. I sent 2 pair back to nike and the sent me a $160 voucher each time.

Now I know why I went 5 years in between Nikes. These had a rough break in peroid, after that the shoes provided great ( I weigh 180 lbs) cushioning. I thought I would be able to get 500 miles plus out of them!!! Boy was I wrong!!! At about the 200 mile mark I noticed the outer sole, on the left foot heal was wearing through. I knew they wouldn't last much longer so I just used them on treadmill runs to prolong the inevitable, but I decided to take them out on the road this afernoon and in the middle of the run the sole wore completely out bursting the air pocket through out the shoe. For a the $160.00 I spent on these I would expect Nike to construct them a little better. Back to my old reliable Asics Nimbus I don't know why I ever strayed from can they ever forgive me.

This is a good shoe to train only. Its like a 747 airplane. Slow, confortable, strong. Use for longslow training distances days. If you have extra cash to buy new shoes, try this ones, but the mizuno Wave creation 7 is a better shoe. I used the Mizuno WC 7 to run my last marathon and it felt very confortable, but heavy for 26 miles. I will try the air max 180 and the max moto for my next marathon. 3 stars is fair for this shoes.

900 miles (and counting) on my original 360s, no injuries and best marathon ever after training in them. I'm a light forefoot road runner.
