I am a 190 pound runner who runs 25/week on a gravel road. This shoe replaces the Equilon +4; I have worn it on short and longer (13 mile) runs. It is a very stable shoe with a great lacing system and excellent fit (I ordered one size larger than street shoes). It has slightly more cushion than the Equilon +4 while retaining its stability. I am very pleased with the shoe!

As an over 60, 250 pound runner. I still have so many worn out pairs of NB 1220s, what a great shoe! Anyway, always jog at least two times a week. When the 1220s went away, the recommendation was the LunarEclipse+2, bought one pair to try them. First time they felt tight and first time ever got blisters. Started wearing thin socks and got better, cushion seemed alright. Maybe did 50 miles and looking back I got away from jogging probably because of shoes. At end of summer I bought two more pairs, I hate change. Still got one pair in box and other pair less than 30 miles hurt feet worst than the first pair. Agree with other commenter, look cheap and cause a lot of leg, knee, and hip pains. Just my experience, from unique older heavy jogger.

Be Careful...

Be careful... These are nothing like the Nike Zoom Equalon+ series.
With the Nike Zoom Equalon+ going away, these were the other Stability Plus shoes offered by Nike. I bought them under the impression they would offer the same support/cushioning, picking up were the Nike Zoom Equalon+ left off. Oops, that isn't the case.
I ran five miles with hot spots emerging around mile three and woke up to sore ankles, arches, and heels.
The toe box was tight and long (weird for Nike).
The shoe seemed to guide my foot strike outward as if I was an under pronator.
These may fit in the category of Stability Plus, but those (like me) who loved the Nike Zoom Equalon+, you will be better served going with a different brand until the Equalon comes back.

Really good shoe.

Got this pair of shoes about 3 months ago, and really like them. OK, I have to admit I stick with Nike because I can fit the nano in the shoe which is really cool by the way. But with this shoe, I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are, and they feel really light weight. The wear rate is about the same as I've had with Asics, and a little bit better than my last pair of Nikes. Would recomment them.

Run almost daily for 3 to 8 mile runs. This shoe feels great but my first pair lasted 68 miles. The heal wore out and rubber sole detached. Turned them back in thinking there was a defect. Company replaced shoe. Second pair lasted 97 miles and same defect in heal repeated. Run same routes with different brand and have over 200 miles on those shoes. Still running strong.

Had been searching for several years for a comfortable & well cushioned shoe, and this is it. I hope Nike does not discontinue this shoe anytime soon. The final determination on this shoe is how long it will last, but I am optimistic this meets what I have been looking for since an old Bauerman Nike was discontinued and I used up my 3 closeout pairs.

These are by far the BEST running shoes I have ever run in. They are very cushiony comfortable and fit great. I have used them in outdoor running and on the treadmill with no issues. The shoes look awesome so you can also use them as your out in town shoes. Highest recommendation-get a pair now!

Fantastic!

These shoes are great and I love them. I'm just reviewing mostly to inform those that purchase them after me that they run thin and the toe box is small. I have very skinny feet (skeletor!) and D fits me perfect. Something to consider on sizing.

MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE IVE WORN IN YEARS.I PATICULARLY LIKE THE LACEING SYSTEM WHICH INHANCES ARCH SUPPORT. I RUN 20-25 MILES A WEEK ON ROAD AND THIS SHOE OFFERS GOOD CUSHION FOR MY 215 LB FRAME.

Disappointed.
Purchased this pair of shoes for my husband based on the good reviews on RRS website. When they arrived, they are at least ½ size too small and my husband thought the shoes look cheap. Returned them.
