Goods: I've been ordering the Nike Air Pegasus shoe about every 500 miles for over 2 years. (I'm on my 6th pair currently.) I run anywhere from 20-40 mile weeks and these shoes have performed well during race training, trail and road running, and even cross training. My feet have formed to these shoes in such a way that they require NO breaking in; I could race in them the day they come in the mail. They are affordable for regular replacement and the "worn out" shoes are great for casual athletic endeavors such as bouldering or pick up Tennis. For stability on road, this shoe performs perfectly.
Bads: Watch for knee support. I've never had trouble on my strong knees, but weak knees should beware of potential Nike problems. Also, if you are a road-to-trail runner like myself, they will wear faster. Nike Pegasus are the best stability cross-over shoe for my high-arch foot, but they are really meant to be a road shoe so keep that in mind when purchasing.
*I marked "poor stability" for the reason that they aren't completely stable on trails.
LOVE. THIS. SHOE. Try it out. Really.

Love these but something went wrong
My first pair of running shoes 20 years ago was the Air Pegasus and although I've tried many brands/models over the years, I always come back to the Air Pegasus. I have high arches and underpronate, so need a big, cushiony toe box and a neutral shoe to let my gait flow naturally. The Air Pegasus is unrivaled in cushioning, which is why I always come back to it. I run 20-25 miles a week, and ran a half marathon in these shoes earlier this year with no problems. I have had three pairs of these this year and love the cushioning, flexibility, and light feel. The most recent pair I purchased have been problematic, though, and have caused me very bad Achilles pain. The shoes are only two months old and already feel like they're going flat. I am sad but have to replace them asap

Better than the 29s for me
I have been wearing Pegasus for the last few years after many experiments with other shoes. I regularly run 25-40 miles a week and race a variety of distances from the mile to the marathon. The previous model (29s) gave me terrible pain on top of my foot. I think it did not have enough support in the upper. That has been corrected with the edition. They do seem to run slightly smaller than the last few versions. Either the toe box is a little narrower or it is a little shorter or both. At first, I thought they were a little too tight, but after a few short runs they seem to have stretched out and are fine. Did a ten miler in them today with no problem.
wide in the wrong places
wide all over. In the toe box, this is nice. but the midfoot and heel cup need to hold the foot and I just can't get this shoe to do that yet. They are also very spongy--so much cushion! I will try them out for another few runs before deciding to return or not. I felt compelled to write the review, as I loved the 29s (my first Pegasus and wearing Saucony for so long).
For reference--I'm a petite, competitive runner that averages about 45 miles a week. I wear these for training runs only-- not speed or races.
My new favorite!
I haven't worn a pair of Nike running shoes since high school! That was 13 years ago...yikes. These are my new favorites for walking, treadmill running and just heading out and about in jeans with my kids. I haven't run outside with them yet as the weather has been complete junk, so I can't really comment on that. I know some of the other reviewers complained that these were wide. I've found them to be just right. Oh, and I love the sunset color too!

I have worn Pegasus for years. Nike seems to like to mess with this shoe and can't seem to let a good thing alone. The +29 last year were amazing, as soon as I put them on they felt like magic. I ordered the +30 and did not get the same feel. Part way through my run , my feet cramp and it feels like my socks are bunching up but they are not. Are much tighter. Once my run is over they feel fine. I will be returning these and going back to last year's model.
New favorite pair!
LOVE these shoes! I am a casual run/walker, do a few 5k's a year, and just did PDX to Coast. I wasn't happy with my Free's, and wanted to try something different.. I'm glad I did, these are great! With only a few short days to break them in before the relay, I was worried I'd have sore feet, but these were great! No blisters, no stiff feet, and no cramps! I'm definately buying a second pair. Best shoe purchase yet!
Yup! I still like them.
I wore the pegasus years ago - it was the only Nike shoe I could wear. Then I switched to Saucony and wore those until I tried the Nike Free 3.0. Unfortunately the 3.0 is no longer made and I didn't like the 5.0. Except for the narrow toe box, I really like these and they are not too heavy. I immediatly wore them for a 13 mile run without problems. The toe issue just might be my imperfect feet. I love the weird colors too.

3rd pair! Great door to trail shoe!
I love this model. I'm a distance runner, running anywhere from 20-45 miles per week. I run 50/50 trail and road and these take me ANYWHERE. These shoes should be replaced at about 400 miles, but I've worn them up to 1,200 miles with no injuries. (My bad. I just didn't get around to replacing them.) I've had 3 pair, and I'm hooked! Great shoe.
Firstly I have avoided nikes since long, long ago. I have the widest feet in America and back in the day all nike shoes were skinny ( so it seemed). I read somewhere that these were super wide shoes so i tried them and they aint lieing!
I am a runner. I have run countless 5K,10K and half marathons and one marathon. I hope to run my next marathon in these guys!
I run about 3-4 times a week in this shoe and it feels great. I have been wearing asics for several years and made this switch when fitted at RoadRunners. I also walk in them daily. Paired with my custom inserts, my feet are feeling good, but my knee/heel pain is still present (but not as bad). Shoes alone cannot correct the issues I"m having, but they do seem to be helping.
Great for walking!
Bought these shoes specifically for walking. I bought a 1/2 size bigger, just to make sure my feet would be comfy all day long. The shoes were supportive and had a good cushion...keeping my tootsies happy! I love the colors - coral and gray. The only con is the white portion got dirty quickly just by walking...guess that's expected from white shoes. Overall, I highly recommend!

tight tow box but heel to toe drop good
I purchased a 1/2 size up and even that was too tight -- the TOP of the toe box pressed against the top of my foot so much that even just standing in them made my toe circulation unhappy. So I am ordering a FULL size bigger to see if that will give me the room. Why am I bothering? Because this shoe has the highest heel to toe drop differential and my 60 year old tendons need the slight elevation. I am hoping the full size will solve the problem but if you have higher arched foot it might not be comfortable for you.

I work on concrete 8 to 9 hrs 40 hrs a week and wanted a comfortable shoe. After reading the reviews and if people can run 20 miles in these shoes and their feet didn't hurt - it sold me. No, I do not run Have two arthric knees and these shoes are wonderful. My feet do not hurt after being on them all day. So, I ordered a second pair for the future, Thank you to all who write reviews.

widths all wrong
I powerwalk about 10 miles a week. Nikes run wide, so the Pegasus 28 in narrow was perfect, I bought 8 pairs. Tried to replace them with
the 29, but in narrow was too wide, the 30 in narrow too narrow, the 30 in B width is too wide, I now have heel pain because the heel is so wide. I, like most women, need a narrow heel and a wide toebox. I have given up on Nike and will now try the Brooks Ghost.

Great Shoes and style for Avid Runner
Use these shoes primarily for running in the gym. I am new to the Pegasus line. I like the arch support, I like the fit and style. I'm an avid runner and run about 3-5 miles per day. This is a great shoe if you plan on running about that or perfect for walking. I'm a little concerned that I might not get that much mileage from these shoes but we'll see.
Use of product: Road running
Things great about it: Lightweight.
Things not so great: Not as comfortable as the Air Pegasus+29 Wide; feels slightly smaller than the Air Pegasus+29 Wide.
When it's time to change shoes again, I probably will change to the Zoom Vomero+8 Wide (which I also purchased).
Lorrie avid athlete
I have had 2 knee surgeries for both of my acls. I often get shin splints and sharp pains. I found out I've had te wrong shoes. These provide the perfect support and the cushion is amazing! I haven't had any pain and I'm able to kick my workouts up a notch. Definitely recommend
Great runing shoes
I bought my first pair because I liked the styling and price so I thought I would give them a try. Love love loved them. Very comfortable out of the box, very durable and can't beat the price. I bought a second pair after almost 500 miles on the first so I can go to the new ones when I need to.
I am training for my second marathon and needed a shoe with a little cushion and support for the long miles. This shoe is not heavy like many other shoes with cushion and support. I use a racing flat for my work outs but this shoe provides the support I need for the longer slower miles.
St. Louis, MO
My favorite shoe. It's great if you have a little wider foot. So I wouldn't recommend if you have narrow foot. These are better than the 29 they feel like there is more support in the toe box. I feel they are an all around great shoe. I have several pairs.
Love these shoes!
I'm not a huge fan of the Pegasus 31 and wanted to grab one last pair of the Pegasus 30 before they were no longer available. I love these shoes! They are comfortable and supportive throughout my run. I've never had a problem with them.

I love these nikes. I wear them for recreational running, and for when we run/warm up for lacrosse. So far they are extremely comfortable when running but still have the support I need. And they're cute and I got plenty of complements on them too :)
Finally a wide shoe!!!
I have always loved the Pegasus but went to the Nike Free a ways back. Loved my first pair, but the second was tight in the width. When I saw these I went back to the Pegasus and will remain there forever!!! Great shoe for us wide footers.
Great Running Shoe!!!
My 12th pair of Pegasus. I've tried many of running shoes, and this has been the best. The only complaint about this shoe is the color. The "atomic pink" is more of a "dream sickle" peachy color.
Toe box too narrow in redesigned show
I've been through many pairs of Pegasus 28 and 29 and was very disappointed by the 30. For some reason they've made the toebox too narrow. I have narrow feet and don't want to go to a wide width, as the shoe would be too wide for my heels. But Nike took a very comfortable shoe and turned it into a cramped, pinched shoe.
The best cushion
This quickly became my favorite running shoe because it is the spongy-cushy-cushion I have been looking for, and my feet don't get as tired as quickly as a hard cushioned shoe.
Great Experience, Great shoe
Great shoe. So far it has been extremely comfortable and has a great amount of cushion for running. I love that the pegasus has been around for a long time so I can now stick with this product.
These shoes run wide so if you like more room in the toe box then these will be perfect. This model is not as wide as last year's model. I find them to be more comfortable.
I have been wearing this style on and off for over 20 years. I keep trying other styles and brands and always come back to this style. It works so well with my body.
