After 6 pair of Nike Pegasus shoes, this model has finally led me to shoe shopping again. :( I am a marathon runner, running approximately 50 miles weeks, 50/50 on the road and trails. I usually buy size 8 shoes, I have a high arch and usually wear "performance neutral" shoes that allow for typical pronation on road and trail runs. Until the 31, I was ordering a new pair of shoes every 3 months and they fit like a dream. No breaking in miles needed, I recently raced on brand new pair within a week of purchasing. I enjoyed the stability and light weight of the shoe. The 31s are much more narrow in the toe box, having less cushioning across the board and generally, not fitting my feet. I could only run a mile or so before feeling great pain in my arch and feeling worn out.
For a average arched runner that tends to buy a minimalist shoe with less cushioning, I recommend the 31 for sure! Beautiful shoe, light weight and liked by many runners! If you're a road runner who doesn't need as much stability or cushioning, you may love this shoe!
Just wanted to share my experience. Keep running! :)
Kachina Trail Blazer
I have tried Nikes in the past but always in the stability category and I never liked them. When the sales associate in the store brought these out for me to try, I was hesitant for a couple of reasons: I have usually gone with more of a stability shoe (though my pronation is very mild) and this one is classified as a neutral and because I haven't had a great track record with Nikes. I put my usual 8.5 running shoe size (I'm an 8 in street shoes) and they were just a tad too tight. Went up to a 9 and was in heaven! Great support and cushioning in the heal, great cushioning under the ball of the foot, just the right amount of arch support. No break-in period. I forget that they are even on and feel great after a 4 mile run or an 8 mile run. Bought 2 pairs, one for running and one to rotate in for my boot camp. My go-to shoe prior to these was the Asics Gel DS-Trainer. Love them for being so lightweight but they had worn out and so tried the Nikes on. So glad I did! I have the white ones and the black/jade ones and I get tons of compliments on the style and colors.
As I approach my 60th year (an off-an-on runner for over half that time), I can look back at the many shoes I've worn over the years. I ran in the Pegasus almost exclusively in the mid-80s and loved the comfort, cushion and flexibility. I tried it again several years ago and was very disappointed. It was heavy and clunky. After reading a few reviews, I decided to try it again. Thank you, Nike, for returning to Pegasus' roots of being a light-weight flexible cushioned running shoe! I particularly like the light and snug upper. It truly feels like running barefoot or, since it has such great cushioning, running on a cloud. An added bonus... the shoe looks great!

Not for bunions!
I have been a runner for over 30 years and have worn several different brands. Lately, I have worn Nike. The Vomero was great for several years - until they changed the fit. I have just one bunion and the new version had a mid-foot seam cutting right across the bunion. So I switched to Pegasus 30. Great fit, wide toe box. This year, the Pegasus 31 (and the Vomero) have a seam across the mid- foot - rubbing right across the bunion.
Come on, Nike! I know there are many women with the same problem! I'm not sure what shoe I will end up with - have been searching for "old" Pegasus 30 (gone at Roadrunner!)
I've been an Peg user for many years so I had trepidation when they switched to the ZoomPeg style. I loved my first pair. Ran 400 miles in them without a hitch--I run about 50 miles per week. But the next 2 pairs were awful. I kept getting blisters. I've used the same socks for years --Balega & Feetures--with no problem so I must blame the shoes. They are also a tad uncomfortable and rub in the forefoot. I have wide feet and bunions, but this was never an issue with the original Pegs. Now I'm torn and am considering breaking up with the ZoomPeg for good and finding a new ride. I'll give them 1 more chance/
I love these shoes!
I love these shoes! I've worn them both while running about 22 miles a week and while running about 12 and they are great all the time. They are my go to shoes for my long run offering great cushioning and arch support the whole run through and much better for running cement surfaces than the Brooks Pure Flow shoes that I wear for shorter runs and lower impact activities. They're also just great to walk around in and I get many compliments on them. I've bought multiple pairs of this shoe and will buy more.
This updated design is really great. They are super lightweight and comfortable. Immediately made my feet feel lighter. I am not a runner by nature. Have spent the last 1-1 /12 working on it. So these had the support & stability I need. Only minor negative, my arches tend to need extra support. While these are fine now, I feel like I will need an insert before the shoe wears out. In this style, I did not size up I ordered normal 8.5 and happy that I did.
A good thing gets even better!
I have always been a Nike Pegasus fan, but the "31" model makes a good thing even better than it was previously. It is 15% lighter in weight than the "29" model that I had before - I weighed both shoe types. Fit on my foot, comfort and flexibility are also improved. Not just for my running, but smart-looking with casual clothes, too - very feminine, I have received many compliments on these shoes. My highest recommendation.

Lightweight & stable, great on joints
I've used these shoes for 8 - 11 miles outdoor runs far, and I've noticed a big difference in knee and ankle comfort. These are very comfortable and I plan on using them in my half marathon soon. I've also used them for 3 - 4 mile runs on treadmill in my gym, and they're great for this purpose as well. I have wide feet and high arches, so many shoes are too narrow. These, however, fit wonderfully.

I am a beginner runner and needed new running shoes to replace my old shoes that made my toes numb when I ran. I'm an "everyday shoe" size 6.5, a 7 in Nike and bought these in a 7.5 for the extra room in the toe box and they are perfect! Very comfortable - no numbing. I have very high arches and had to adjust the way they are tied to allow room for my high foot, but so far, they are excellent sneakers.

This is my second pair of Pegasus 31. These are great for running, walking, or just wearing all the time. Very comfortable, good arch support and good looking. I went up a half size and they fit perfect. Only negative is that they wear out pretty quickly. I'm a casual runner/walker and they wore out in one year but they are worth it!

I Never Thought I'd Run in Nikes!
I got these shoes because I absolutely needed to change what I was wearing. The only tricky part was that I had a 70.3 race the next weekend. I went ahead and wore them for the 13.1 mile run portion and it was as if I'd been wearing them my whole running life! Very comfortable, just enough cushion, and lightweight.
Just right :)
They last, which is great for distance runners. My feet are really narrow so I usually have problems with shoes that are way too wide. These fit so much better than most shoes I have had in the past thanks to their smaller width. This is my first pair of Nikes but definitely wont be my last.
the pegasus is back!
Excellent remodel! The Pegasus has been my tried and true go-to shoe for years. After Nike changed the from the 28 to the 29 (and then 30) I was bummed I had lost my shoe! I was excited to try the 31 after hearing about the remodel and it didn't disappoint. A little softer than the 28 but not clunky or squishy like the 29 & 30.
Love these shoes!!
Absolutely love these shoes! They're super lightweight, extremely comfortable, and cushion my feet just right. I would definitely recommend them!
My only caveat is that if your feet are narrow, these may be uncomfortable. I have narrow feet, so they work well for me.
Really appreciate being able to buy a half size and wide fitting for this shoe. Cushioning is good. Limited colour choice with my odd size request but the fit is the important thing for me and this shoe fits well. Happy to do more running now.

great as usual
I've been getting the pegasus for years now. I think i like the older versions (from 7 yrs ago) but these are also good. so far, the only nike sneaker that works for me. I like running and these prove to give me the support i need.
great shoe for distance
I have tried other sneakers that offer little comfort after 4 miles or so. These keep my feet fairly comfortable on longer runs. They look nice and I haven't had any injuries wearing them. Good for neutral runners.
Like Walking On A Cloud
I walk about 6-7 miles five days per week. I have loved the Nike Pegasus brand since I first tried one on many years ago. With my custom orthotics, they feel like I am walking on a cloud.

I love Pegasus!!
I am a long time runner and I have always worn Pegasus!! Run all distances!! Tried other brands but always came back to Pegasus!! Pegasus 31 is even better than previous!! Great shoe at great price!!
So far so good!
These are very cute, comfortable and light. I get a ton of compliments. The only negative is that they run a little big which is strange for Nike. I always buy 1 size up but I should have only gone 1/2 with these.
BEST PEGASUS EVER
Love this shoe! As a longtime Pegasus wearer, this is my favorite version ever! It not only looks great but is comfortable & fits great. It has a very smooth transition and great cushioning.

In love AGAIN
I'm back in a Nike Pegasus!!! The toe box had gotten too narrow but it is back and it is PERFECT!!!! Love how lightweight it is. Love the cushion. LOVE the color choices!!!

Black color 1/2 size too small
I have been a Pegasus wearer for years, I wore the pink color in these 31's for 4 months. Then ordered the black. They feel about a half size smaller.
I also miss the wider toe box of the previous models.

Comfortable, stylish and supportive
Run outside with these everyday and love them! Very comfortable, feels like your foot slips into a cushion mold. Adds a little pep to your step!
Great shoe. Also looks good!
I am a runner and a gym person.
I wear these for work though. I wear them with custom orthotics. They are comfortable and look awesome!
I run less than 25 miles a week. I love these shoes. They are very comfortable, and I love that they are available in wide widths.
O Fallon, MO
Very comfortable breathable and provides support.
Only shoe that my feet don't hurt after running (good for plantar facitis)
A Winning Shoe from a Winning Store
This edition fits better than the prior years edition. It is narrower at the top by the toes for better fit and support.
San Diego, CA
Good basic running shoe.
I like that these shoes are lightweight, have plenty of room inside for your toes to sprawl when running, and breathe well.
