Enjoy bottomless comfort, getting a lively bounce and super soft landing on every step with the improved Lunarlon cushioning. Let me just say for running shoes I always stayed away from Nikes cause of their small toe boxes. My feet require a wider toe box, so when I read other reviews saying that the toe box fit better I was intrigued and bought the shoes. I've worn them for running short distances and they are extremely comfortable. However, when I started running past the 5 mile mark the front of my toes started to get blisters. I even was wearing blister resistant socks and no other shoe I've worn for running over that many miles at once gave that to me. In conclusion, my personal opinion is that for me they are good, comfortable, cushioned shoes for shorter distances if you require a wider toe box, but the toe box is still not wide enough to prevent blisters. If you don't require a wide toe box, then these definitely are a great shoe.

Protective training shoe
I purchased this shoe because I used to love the Lunaracer (1-2-1), but can't wear the newest model because of black toenail issues. This shoe is very comfortable and has a slightly more stable version of the lunar cushion. The heal fits well and is very soft.
However, for me this is only a training shoe. It is too soft to get any real feedback for the road. Also, from the ankle forward it is very roomy (too much). If you haven't been able to wear narrow Nikes, you might give this one a try. Also, on wet concrete it has very little traction. It slips on corners and you get very little push off on wet surfaces.
It is good for what it is. A high mileage training shoe that softens impact and produces almost no pressure points or problem areas.

Amazing. A jack of all trades!
I was an avid fan of the Nike dual fusion shoes. Those shoes sold me on the Nike brand and kept me loyal. Now that they are being phased out, I had to look for a new shoe to replace those. Went to Academy and tried one a pair of Aasic's and they didn't compare to the equally priced Nike Lunar Glide 6 shoes. The design is what first caught my eye like the Aasic's Wave Sayonara's, however, unlike the Aasic's, the Lunar Glide's were so comfortable. Amazing support for my flat arches and provide excellent stability. Took them on the threadmill for the first time and I increased my 1 minute 6.5 speed job to 3 minutes! Amazing difference the design of this shoe has made! Thanks again Nike!

wow, no really, wow
In my 15 years of regular running, this is without a doubt the best shoe I have ever owned. Given my size and running style(185lb, 35miles/week @7 min pace - heel strike on the roads, mid-foot strike on a treadmill) I usually need weighty stability shoes or end up using orthotics and have prefered Asics or Brooks. Somehow Nike fashioned a shoe at less than 10 oz that does it all - support, cushion, road feel. Perhaps it is the new materials. I have never liked Nike before, but these completely outclass anything I have ever worn.
As a true fan of the LG5, I was a little skeptical when wearing LG6 for the first time because there definitely is a different "feel". The toe box seems roomier and there's less of a glove-like fit. These aren't negatives though, just different. Took them out same day of purchase for three miles and they felt fantastic. The cushioning is plush and the transition from heel/mid to toe was effortless. Really, really like this update and am buying a second pair. Here's a solid overview of what's new to the LG6 - a good read before purchasing!
LunarGlide 6 for 30/60/90 HIIT Training
I take an NYC based class called 30/60/90 and am always in search for the best possible shoe that can handle these workouts which include but are not limited to:
Squat Thrusts, Lunges, Push-ups, Jumps, and tons of other crazy things and these are the only shoes that provide me the right amount of support, comfort, and stability when taking class. I highly recommend to anyone taking High Intensity Interval Training classes! This shoe is by far the best!

I purchase ALL my shoes at RoadRunner. I have been satisfied with purchases for a number of years. Never have I been so immediately satisfied.
The way these shoes lace up made for a perfect run the first time I used them. I had not run outdoors since last summer, and I took them out for difficult run. The LunarGlides did not rub anywhere at all, and the next day I did not feel the normal ache in my feet and calves because of running on pavement (as opposed to treadmill). The fit, the support, the cushioning all were perfect.

happy, got what I expected!
Have about 20 miles on them so far and have had them for almost 2 weeks. I used to have the lunar glide 3's. I loved them so much i owned 2 pairs. These are very similar as far as comfort and cushion. Can't say anything bad except the red and black color looks more like pink and black so i was a little bit surprised when I opened the box. Fun shoe to wear!
Great all-purpose shoe
Perfect go-to shoe for any training or racing on your schedule. Out performs many "high tech", "innovation" shoes that cost twice as much. Excellent value and performance. This coming from a person who's run 56 marathons over 25 years (39 of them sub 3:00) --no injuries.
Into the void
Looking forward to the new model as fell in love with the LG 4. The LG5 is a great shoe as well. The 6 felt a little stiffer, but still comfortable. Disappointing was there was not a place in the left shoe for a sensor. This helps me keeps my mileage more accurate. So why no NIKE + Sensor in the left shoe??
Would wear as a marathon shoe, but do not out more then 50 miles on them before. Durability and wear a question mark. Great shoe for training and distance. Not bad for speed work either on the track. Just not pleased with wear.
I love the lunarglide shoe line. it is a wonderful light and comfortable shoe line. I am giving 4 stars as i was surprised that it does not come equpped for the Nike shoe pod, like previous versions did.
Every time I ran for years I experienced pain. I bought these shoes at the same time I learned the midfoot strike running technique and good stretches. I then gradually increased my distance. The pain has gone away.
Newest version is the best!
I've run in the Lunarglide since they were introduced and the "6" is the best... so far. It fits my foot better (narrow in the heel but roomy in the toe box), it's cushioned, but it's more responsive than previous iterations.

Been running for 35+ years using Nike. This is the worst shoe ever. The Lunarglide +5 was great - had many pairs but this Lunarglide 6 is awful. Too narrow - can't even get my foot into it and its the same size I have always used. Wat too narrow. Nike screwed up this one.

I liked the interview between the sales representative and myself because I learned how to buy the right shoes. Thank you for that.

This is a comfortable and very good looking shoe. The only bad thing I have to say is that they are a little narrow but seem to be forming to my foot better every time I put them on.
Great - right out of the box!
I'm training for a 1/2 marathon and this shoe felt great in the store and out on the road. Up to 6-miles so far and no issues.
Lots of cushion
I just tried it out for a 8 mile run and found it feeling lightweight with lots of support and cushion.
