Comments about Womens Nike Free Trail 5.0 Trail Running Shoe:
I own the Nike Free 5.0 and run in them everyday I'm not on trails. When Nike releaseed the Trails, I bought them right away. In the mud, the heel tries to suck off, but a little tape around the arch and you're all set (cross country lessons). The traction is rather reliable, plus the ability to curl the toes for traction give you a barefoot sensation. The action is so subtle, you forget you automatically curl your toes for traction and normal sneakers prevent the action. I love the sock like feel rather than the clunkier normal sneakers, more more confidence building on narrow trails snaked on a cliff side. However, the sneakers are thin so sometimes you can feel rocks through the sole, you get use to it and your body autocorrects. Also, it helps you run with a lighter touch. Highly recommended!
