These shorts are great. I bought them towards the end of a very hot summer and wished I had them earlier. They are short enough so they don't restrict movement but they are longer than the other Nike shorts I own so I don't feel like I am showing off too much leg. I am 5' 11" so it's an easy thing to do in a running short. The thicker waste band is also great. They don't pinch or cut into your middle or ride up.
Love them -want more in different colors!
Nike's Tempo shorts have become the only shorts I will wear for running, period. They just fit absolutely perfectly. So I was excited to try the update, the Pacer shorts. I love the wider waistband. The Pacer shorts are made of the same Dri Fit material, as is the liner, and they perform just as well as the Tempo shorts. Now I will only wear Tempo OR Pacer shorts.
Comfortable and look great
I wear this pair for running and weight training. The fit is comfortable and does not get in the way while running - not too skimpy yet not too baggy - perfect! It is light weight just like other Nike running shorts. I thought that the quality of the liner fabric was questionable but it wicks moisture and dries fast - and it does not ride up :-). These are great for training and probably for races but it only has one small inner pocket for keys and one gel - may be two.
Super comfy short!
I have never been excited about running shorts before but I really like these. I wanted the Nike Tempos because I kept hearing people rave about them (plus they come in all sorts of amazing colors!) but they were too poofy and they pinched into my waist creating a very unflattering muffin top! These have a wider waistband and a supersoft liner. They ride up *sometimes* when I am running but less than other shorts. Love them!

Better than Just Do It shorts!
These shorts are great for running! They're short enough to be flattering, but they don't ride up. I have a pair of the "Just Do It" shorts, but those ride up on me (a lot). These don't. I have noticed that the bottom edge will sometimes kind of fold up or roll on itself, but again they're long enough to where that isn't uncomfortable! They're also extremely lightweight. I plan on buying more!
Best short I've ever owned
I have a few pairs of the Nike Tempo Track short (and love them) and recently tried the Pacer. It's so much better! It sits lower on the waist, has a wonderful, wide, non-binding waistband, it's light as a feather and looks terrific. Great as the Tempo is, this is the short I will buy from now on. I think it will also make a great short for watersports such as kayaking and sailing.
Comfy but can chafe
I previously reviewed these and loved them, but I recently ran a 10K and them and discovered that the piping on the edge chafes. They were fine in training runs prior to this, however.
These otherwise okay shorts have 2 small interior pockets that are located on either side of the back waist. At least one could have been placed in the front for easier access. The length is not overly short but expect them to sit several inches below the waist.
The BEST running short
These are my new favorite shorts. They fit so well and look good. I've been running in Tempo shorts but these fit better - not so puffy in the front, but still a nice length - Long runs, races... these are great. I want more!
Three pairs are not enough!
My only issue with the shorts is that while they come with a tiny pocket (as for a key or folded up bill), it would be nice to have a larger side pocket to use when using the shorts in a non-workout mode.

I really like them
I use these for running up to 13 miles. The waistband tries to slide up to my waist, but they do not ride up. Very comfortable and soft. The side panel is mesh, and a little see-through. The pockets are kind of small. I will buy more of these.
The Best shorts ever
I have purchased many shorts to run in and these are the best yet. I love them so much that I went to my local RoadRunner Sports store and bought another pair in a different color. They don't ride up between your thighs which is very important.
One of the best shorts around
5'4" 129 lbs - size small works fine - just as good as the Nike Tempo shorts. And finally, Nike made the liner black, instead of white - a much nicer touch. Love these shorts just like the tempo shorts. Will definitely buy again.
I love these shorts.
I love these shorts! They seem to have a leg
opening that lays flatter, so on my long runs
they dont rub the inner thigh.
I think they are more flattering for the female body.
Nice Updated, Modern Fit Shorts
These are an updated, lower rise version of the Nike tempo shorts. However, please note that they are cut for larger thighs. The XS solves this program, but use caution as they are very short.
I love these shorts. They have a pocket for your keys in the front and back. The length is great, not too short, which I find is the case with a lot of running shorts. I'm buying these in every color.
Perfect Length.. I have problems finding shorts that are not tight around the waist and still fit me comfortably in the legs. These were perfect.

Great running shorts
I bought these for distance road running as well as in the gym. I like that there are multiple pockets. I also like that these sit lower so they are not so poofy!
I run 30 miles per week and these shorts are the best I have tried. A little longer than some, great ventilation on the sides, and good fit all around.
Favorite running shorts
Very comfortable. Good fit. Looks good. The low waistband is my favorite and no chafing on long runs. Love them so much I have them in just about every color!
I like the fit of these shorts! Compared with the Nike Tempo, they sit lower on my hips and are less baggy. The size feels true to 'Nike' size for me. I wear a small in both the Pacer and the Tempo.
SUPER FEEL AND FIT
I used these shorts for a ulra narathon....50 miles..
excellent!!! No problems at all....!! Everybody loved them!! esay to run in!

These shorts are AMAZING! A few years ago I was able to do my long distance runs 10-18 milers with the nike Pro spandex shorts, however after hitting my mid twenties I can't wear those for long distance, my thighs rub unfortunately. That being said these shorts are amazing because they're cute, colorful and long enough for my thighs not to touch. I'm not overweight, I am 5'1 110 lbs. I love how they have the built in underwear as well. They do have a little pocket for a key I believe but I've never used it. I wore a pair of these on my first marathon and didn't think 2x! They were perfect!! Everything about them is awesome. I now have my Mom and sister hooked on them as well!

Almost a winner
I want to love these shorts. The waistband is wide and comfortable, and I wish every pair of women's running shorts had this waistband! The fabric is lightweight and seems to dry quickly. The liner, though thin, seems adequate.
It's the inseam that I have trouble with. It seems to me that the fabric is SO lightweight, that it rides up between the thighs constantly. It could be me, but I have other shorts with the same length inseam and don't have the same problem. I wore these on a recent 9 mile run and spent half the time readjusting them. On my run I momentarily considered sewing weights into the bottom of the hem, just to keep them weighted down! Silly, I know, but like I said, I so want to love these shorts.
The ultimate shorts
I recently bought the Nike Pacer shorts and very satisfied with the fit. They are not too short and allow movement. Perfect fit ! Best shorts made by Nike !
A nice basic short - very comfortable, handy pockets. Didn't realize the side panels were semi-sheer. Other than that, they're great!
typical NIke running shorts
These are just typical Nike running shorts. I have about 10 pair of them. I like the liner and the fast drying fabric.
LOVE these shorts
I ADORE these shorts. I've been running in cheap box-store shorts for the past 2 years and decided to splurge on some real running shorts during a RRS sale. They are amazing! Lightweight, comfortable, and they don't ride up. I hated short shorts before these, but these are so comfortable I don't care.
The only downside: my pink pair shows sweat very clearly. I did a gym workout in them the other day & looked liked I'd wet my pants at the end from the sweat pattern.
Fantastic for running though so I will keep them and maybe buy a darker pair for the gym.

Better fit than the tempo
I have about 10 pairs of the Tempo shorts and really love them, but these actually fit better on me. They have a leaner silhouette on my body and I don't have an excess of material under the waistband in the front looking baggy like I do with the tempos. I bought them in a size medium because that's what was available in the color I wanted and they do fit well, but I like my shorts on the tighter side and a small probably would have been better. I'm 5'9, about 140 pounds, and a "muscular pear" shape.
Excellent long distance short
I tried these shorts on a fluke when I thought I had bought a pair of Nike Tempos - but I was pleasantly surprised at how much better they fit. I carry a lot of my weight in my hips/thighs and these do not ride up, chafe or bunch. I can even do 15+ mile runs without Body Glide and not get any inner thigh chafing.
Features wise, the two pockets are godsent. I can get a couple energy gels in the back liner pocket and a key/ID/hair tie/chapstick in the key pocket. The back pocket is also ideal for carrying an inhaler if you need one.

LOVE these shorts! Length is good. Material is very comfortable. Waist band is perfect. No bunching. Wish I would've bought more of these instead of the Adidas Supernova shorts which are okay but I prefer these.

I wanted to add... pay attention to the sizing chart. I am normally a M in Nike stuff, but the chart suggested S so I got that and I'm glad I did. I don't think the bigger size would have fit right.

I REALLY like these shorts. They fit my body type much better than the tempo. Less "blousy" around the waist. I'd like to see more colors!

This are my current favorite running shorts. For my body type they're a better cut than the Nike Tempo shorts--much more flattering. The back pocket is big enough to comfortably hold some Clif Bloks or Gu packets and the waistband is super-comfy. I didn't give them 5 stars because there is a bit of extra material in the front but everything else is great.
