New slim design is more discrete and convenient for portability, allowing users to monitor their blood pressure at home, work or anywhere

I put the batteries in and set it up without reading anything. Comfortable fit. It doesn't go overpressure first, like most monitors that measure coming down. This measures going up, so it stops pressurizing after the measurements are taken, and only enough pressure to get the measurements..

Extremely Easy To Use
I Saw 1 Review That Said Set Up Was Hard, NOT TRUE, Took Me 3 Minutes, & It Was Up & Running. Guess Some Don't Know How To Read ??

Easy to use - but no saving to computer
I just bought this when my old arm model (not Omron) gave out after 10 years. I like the wrist unit better - but I can't download to the computer!? Really??? Even my 10 year old machine had computer download capability. Apologize, Omron...This is the 21st century, join us.

Runs High - Hope it can be calibrated
Bought this wrist monitor since I wanted one that I could easily use with winter weight clothes and it was very well reviewed by CR. It does have a nice design and is easy to read, but that is where my positive review ends! Had open heart surgery 4 months ago and needed to keep track of my BP. Since I also own the OmronBP791IT upper arm monitor as well as this Omron 7 wrist monitor, I used both then compared the readings with my visiting nurse's manual BP readings. Oh my goodness! The wrist BP was easily between 10 to 20 points higher than the upper arm monitor which matched my nurse's readings within a few points. Yes, even my upper arm monitor can register high, but I learned that one must sit quietly for at least 5 minutes, then sit upright with both feet on the floor and the arm slightly crooked like it would be at the doctor's office for it to be accurate. I also took the upper arm monitor with me to cardiac rehab to compare their readings and the upper arm was within a few points. So in conclusion: for my money, I don't want to chance my BP readings to an inaccurate device. Even 15 points higher can make a difference. Wish I had found this inaccuracy earlier since the wrist monitor was expensive and now I can't return. Money badly spent....and the problem is that I also bought one for my 92 year old Dad which now I also don't trust.

stay away from this model!
I had an earlier series 3 wrist monitor that worked great over the years. Last week I thought I had lost it so ordered a newer 652 that looked a lot like the earlier model - compact but still kind of boxy but still used the convenient spring wrist cuff. What I received instead was one of these new devices, the 652N. It is very small, very flat, very quiet and VERY INACCURATE! Instead of ease of quickly slipping the spring cuff over your wrist and pulling over the short Velcro strap, this new version requires that you loosen an endless cuff, insert your hand and then somehow keep the device in the device in correct position while using your free hand to tighten the Velcro cuff. All of this by itself does not make this a total loser but the wildly inaccurate readings will make you think you're going to stroke out! Well I went and ordered one of Omron's better arm cuff devices which is really the better way to measure your BP and in the meantime the older wrist device turned up. Now both of these devices (older wrist and new arm) provide consistently accurate readings, usually 1 or 2 mm of each other. The 652n looks like it has very good potential but I believe that it's small size and silent operation simply cannot get decent radial wrist artery pressure measurements. Certainly not ready for prime time.
Warning! Follow the directions Exactly!
When directions are followed to the letter you will get an accurate enough reading most of the time, especially after you have used it for a while. The position on the wrist and having your palm facing exactly upward are more critical than you might think. Those are two things that are not clearly specified in the instructions and are the things most likely to cause obviously abnormal readings or problems getting the blue light to come on respectively. The position sensor (that turns on either blue or orange lights) seems to be just a direction of gravity sensor and you will get the blue light if your forearm is at an angle of around 30 degrees from the floor (or the table). If you follow all the other directions that puts the Omron right at heart level so it will give the same reading as any arm cuff reading. How tight you pull the cuff strap seems to matter to some extent; it should not be so loose that it will move if you jiggle your arm (gives a low reading) or tighter than what you get by simply pulling the strap out to the right to make it as tight as you can make the cuff, and then maintaining the pull take the strap gently down and back to the other side and engage the velcro. If try to make the cuff tighter than this it will give a high reading.
Easier to use than I thought it would be.
After heart problems, my cardiologist told me to take my blood pressure and pulse rate twice per day, morning and bedtime. I bought an Omron upper arm machine and used it diligently for over two years, and decided that a wrist model would be easier if it were accurate. After doing my due diligence, I bought a model 7 wrist machine and it has mad the exercise so easy and can be done so quickly that I can't believe it. After reading the instructions, I took the machine to my doctor to check it against the nurses reading and found that the machine worked great. I use it daily and wouldn't have any other machine, but people must read the instructions and follow them.
Maybe life saving
I am a senior, who never suffered from hypertension unto about six months ago. The doctor requested that I take my blood pressure on a daily basis. I never knew where to place my arm with another company's wrist monitor until I purchased the Omron. When the light changes from yellow to blue I know to stop moving my arm. As an added feature, I can electronically capture my readings from the monitor to the website and produce data that allows me to upload to another program where I produce charts and graphs of my progress. After about four months of diet changes and exercise, I have been able to reduce my blood pressure to a normal range. Thank you Omron.

As a practicing internist for the past 35 years I have struggled with diagnosing and monitoring hypertension in my patient population. Several years ago I read about the series 7 wrist cuff in Consumer Reports and purchased my own unit. I realized this is a very accurate and easy to use device. Many of my patients are seniors on a fixed incomes and I have recommended this device to all of my hypertensive patients. So easy to review with the memory function and so economical! My patients love it and seems very accurate. Thanks for this product and I just purchased my second unit. John Palmer MD

Many good features.
I have had this unit almost a year now and because of the directions that come with it are not really good. Especially if you have a small wrist. Well I finally called the company and a wonderful man helped me to do it correctly. So now I am happy I love it. It is just tricky make sure it is at least 1/2 inch above the wrist bone. and the face or read out is positioned with the middle even with you thumb. I am now a happy camper wish I knew this sooner. Even the online u tube does not talk about the 1/2 inch above the wrist bone.
easy to use - decent report tracking w phone app
Works as described. No problems or questions with accuracy. I rated it 4 vs 5 stars only due to the fact that when you transfer data to the phone app it transfers all readings and there is no way to delete readings from other users from the app reports. So if more than one person uses the cuff, the report features lose their meaning. You can manually select which readings you wish to email and then track them in your own excel spread sheet or table format, but you must know which readings are yours and which are someone else's.

Trust and Reliability
I have had two blood pressure cuffs from Omron and as a health care professional have made many comparisons for accuracy with the standard arm cuffs and use of a stethoscope. Have never had more than 2 digits difference in the numbers. Over the years as an RN I have given those two Omron units to my homecare patients that needed daily checks when I could not visit them. Elevated blood pressure can be a silent killer so it just makes good sense to take control of your health. Thanks, Omron, for your great products!

My husband and I are both having to monitor our BP closely. We each have an Omron wrist monitor and they are very accurate. He had to go to the ER recently when our monitor indicated a dangerous BP. Our reading was actually same as the one at the ER. Glad to say he was able to come home after few hours and we are both doing well. Our Omrons are life savers!!!! Everyone should have one to monitor their BP since checking every few months in the Dr office is not enough.
Really like it.
I have had my Omron 7 series for about six weeks. I read articles from Mayo Clinic and they said that suggested this brand. I like the quietness of it. Two reasons it's not perfect, and it has nothing to do with the workings of it, one is the wrist band is too long and second it could use a backlight for nightime readings. I have to take my BP during the night and always have to turn a light on to see the reading. Other than that I recommend it, very easy to use.

New Cuff Same Excellent Monitor
I bought this wrist monitor after having used the older bracelet style cuff. I love this improved softer cuff it is much easier to attach. I do wish you had left the Visitor feature so I could let someone try my cuff; because all my friends want to try my new monitor now. I have used an Omron Series 7 wrist cuff for over 7 years and I highly recommend this new 7 Series monitor. This monitor is now easier to transport and my doctor loves its accuracy. Kudos to you.
Accurate and easy to use.
For years I used an Omron wrist blood pressure cuff. When it finally died, I replaced it with a store brand wrist monitor. The new monitor was not accurate at all when compared with doctor's office results. I went out and bought the Omron 7 wrist series cuff immediately and have been pleased with its performance. I took it with me to my doctor's visit and compared my cuff BP to the doctor's. The new Omron was spot on.
I bought this product for my mother. She is 79 years old and has to keep a close watch on her blood pressure as she takes her chemo pills. This product was taken to the doctors office and compared to theirs. They are very close in numbers. One of the closest wrist monitors I have found. This was easy for her to operate and understand and read the numbers. Yes I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Excellent Piece of Equipment
I was looking for something that would be easy to use and more portable than the large (very efficient) blood pressure monitors that I have in my office. I'm happy to say that I found it in the Omron 7 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. This monitor is extremely portable, and very easy to use. The carry case also makes it not stand out. I love it. I actually loved it so much that I bought one for myself.

My physician asked me to log my blood pressure for a month. I could not imaging carrying around a cuff and a log book for a month. I just did not see this happening. I found the 7 series online, purchased it and WOW - its small enough to fit in my purse, transfers the readings to the phone app which I email to myself and print out for my doc in a nice neat typed report!!! Who could ask for more!!!

I bought this monitor to replace a series 3 that is about six or seven years old. It was so difficult to keep the blue light light on that after only one day I returned it to place of purchase for full refund (without any hassle). the store personnel did comment that I was not the first to return this model for the same reason. I'll just stick with my old series 3 and be happy.

Omron 7 Series Blood Pressure Monitor Great Cuff
I bought this BP cuff to use for vitals on my hospice patients, ranging from alert and oriented to patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. It worked great, was accurate and easier to use on wiggly patients than my company issued arm blood pressure cuff. It must have impressed some of the facility staff where I visited as it was missing after one of my visits.

Simple to use, so accurate and a life saver
I take my BP twice daily with the Omron wrist Monitor and it is a life saver. One evening I felt kind of weird, took my BP and saw it went through the ceiling as well as my heart rate which was 150 beats per minute. Immediately taken to the ER and found I was in atrial fibrillation. Without Omron it would have been curtains for me.

Great wrist monitor!
I bought this to make it easier to test my BP more often, conveniently. I also wanted it to give me on-line and smartphone access to my readings. It works well, gives accurate readings, and synchs easily with my iPhone and computer. It also comes with a hard case for traveling or storage. It is just what I was looking for!

An Excellent Product!
This is my third Omron BP Monitor. The first was the upper arm type, which I still have. A couple of years ago I bought the 7 Series Wrist model, and literally wore out the cuff, although the electronics still worked. Since I liked it that one so much, I purchased another. It does everything I need it to do, and very well.
I bought this blood pressure monitor last year and it works perfectly. As long as you use it according to the instructions its fool proof! Features are very easy to use. It saves many of your past readings to review later and see progress. Makes it easy to keep track! Everytime I take it out all my friends want to try it.
I needed to upgrade my blood pressure monitor and decided on the BP652 model. It is simple to use right out of the box. On my next visit to my physician I brought it with me to check the accuracy, and I was delighted that it was. I recommend this model, which is totally silent during usage, highly.

A Life Saver
I am extremely glad that I bought this device monitor my blood pressure. I got tired of the arm monitors and silly Apple apps that gave widely inaccurate readings of my blood pressure. The readings on this device has been consistent regarding my blood pressure and heart measurements.

My wife bought this for me for Christmas. It was always cumbersome using the arm blood pressure monitor. The wrist works fantastic. I have calibrated it at the doctors office and it is always perfect. Now I can grab it and take my blood pressure at any time and it is so easy.

Easy Easy to use
Had this for 2 weeks the quick start gets you going in a couple of minutes. Nor sure why some people would down grade their rating because it does not download to a computer since you should know that before ordering . It would be nice if it did this but it never claims it.

Best device for me
I bought two devices of that version, liked it because can set it to be work only while in correct position and I compared it with arm nercury sphygmomanometer and the result was not big difference (less than 10 for systolic and less than 5 for diastolic reading).
