I am a heavier runner and go 3-4 miles 5 times a week. These cushion in a different way than any other type of shoes I've tried. I would call it hard cushioning. Most shoes cushion impact with foam which is soft and can sometimes be mushy. I liked these shoes because the cloudtec absorbs the impact without the mushy feeling as well a solid pushoff for the next stride.
They make you want to go and make you want to go faster everytime you get out there.
My only issue I had is that these shoes come stiff, very stiff. It could be the more solid rubber sole than most shoes or it could also be the built in speedboard. It's taken about 10 miles to break them in to where the sole feels decently flexible, but I expect it to continue to loosen up with additional mileage.
If you're looking for solid shock absortion without the mushy feel, these are the way to go.
Interesting take on low-rise + good cush
I currently use Hoka's (plush to the max), as well as Brooks Pure. These have a nice feel underfoot, relatively firm sole, with nice cushioning. I am struck by 2 things when I run in them: how quietly I land, and how, despite heaviness in the hand, they feel light and quick on the feet.
Mostly used on roads, with non-technical trails as well, they have been comfortable, breathable, and an overall very nice shoe. Maybe not a racer, but I'm a fan thus far. Only reason for 4 stars is the weight vs my Pure Cadence (but I have not put these on a real scale, just the ole "hand" scale). As of now, I'd purchase them again and recommend them.
These shoes are pretty awesome
I am typically someone who finds a shoe that works and sticks with it. Very, very rarely will I make a change that isn't forced by a shoe changing to the point where it no longer works for me. After reading so many good reviews for the On Cloudrunner I felt I had to give the shoes a try.
The first time I put them on they felt a little different due to the "cloud technology." Once out on a run that not only went away, but the shoes felt unbelievable - comfortable, like they were already broken in. My first run was an 8 miler with no issues. Even better, the Cloudrunner felt like it was much less impact on my body.
I would not use these shoes for speed work, but plan on mixing them in for my longer distance days.

Nice running shoes and stylish, too
I've always stayed with one brand of running shoes, but I ventured to try this one. I'll be honest, the way it looks caught my attention and after doing a bit of Internet research I decided to purchase it. I have a marathon coming up so I've started training with this pair. I do have to say that so far so good. The shoes are comfortable and light. My feet remain supported as I run on pavement and trail. The shoes are a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth the price to try something new. I'll certainly consider buying this pair (or like it from the same brand) in the future.

As a newbie triathlete I just did my 3rd Olympic distance triathlon this weekend (did a PR on the run). I'm on my second pair this year. Had a service issue with the 1st pair, Cloudster, GREAT! Customer service. I'm running with better form and faster than I was with my Hurricanes ( previous 4 pairs, favorites). I recently did a short 2.5 miles in the Hurricanes and they felt like marshmallows with a harshness at the button of the heel strike. My posture is much better with the Coudrunners and I do have a springier push off. As I have multiple back problems the help with the posture is a Hugh benefit.
I have no complaints about this running shoe nor the brand, it's the 2nd pair I've bought from this company (the first being On-Cloudsurfer - great shoe also) EXCEPT that they have horrible traction in the wet i.e on concrete/roads etc. 4/5 stars.
One of the best shoes I've ever owned. You really have to try it to believe it. I need a good-sized toe box and this shoe fills the bill better than any other I ever tried. Try them, particularly for brisk-paced walking and jogging.
