In my many years of running, I have always run in traditional wedge shoes with mixed results--some shoes worked fine while others were problematic. Having recently struggled with shin splints and a number of leg injuries, I decided to give a minimalist, zero-drop shoe a try. However, as a middle-aged, 185+ lb. runner, I still require some cushion to protect my joints.
Although not classified as a minimalist shoe by RRS, this light-weight, zero-drop shoe met my criteria. I have now run in these shoes for several weeks now without any injuries or leg issues. The shoe has great flexibility and seems to allow for and conform to the natural movement of the foot while still providing cushioning. It's clear that Puma has developed this shoe based on much research. For me, the shoe is a winner.

This is a great zero-drop running shoe--it is comfortable, flexible, lightweight and cushions impact. It provides a unique but amazing ride. It allows for natural foot motion and feels like an extenstion of your foot. Just walking in the shoe, you can feel the shoe flex and contract in relation to your foot.
My running experience in the shoe has been great--no injuries or issues. It probably will not comfortably fit a wide foot as it is designed for a normal to narrow foot width.
