Studies show 3 times greater stretch than using the wall
I have suffered with Achilles Tendonitis for the past 1 1/2 years and finally have been able to start running again (yeah!) This gadget is very effective for stretching the calf which is imperative for running. This has been tremendously helpful in giving me a good deep stretch, I keep it handy and use it 3-4 times a day. The only thing better would be a double one so I could stretch both calves at the same time.
Prism Step Stretch - worth the $$$
I have joined a group of beginning runners that are training for a half marathon. This device is wonderful for stretching after any run. Great it you have foot problems.
Better than the old wall stretch!!!
I use this everyday after a run and my calves thank me! It's easy to use and travels easily. I highly recommend it!
So far, so good
I've had trouble with calf injuries. Thought I would try this to increase flexibility. I can feel the step stretch work both the gastroc and soleus better than basic wall stretching. The company makes a model that takes both feet at once (called bilateral). I would probably get that model instead of this, as it allows for stretching both legs at the same time, and also keeps the hips aligned since both feet are resting level. The bilateral is twice as expensive, but I think it would be worth it.
I've been using this every day
My right calf gets tight and I need to use this daily. I have an old pair of shoes for when I use this. I have a feeling that a new pair of running shoes might get tweaked by the form of the plastic. I guess the wooden boards at an angle would be kinder to sneakers, but this one is less expensive.
I have two of these, one for home and one for the office.
Bought for a friend!
I have one, and my friend liked it so I bought her one.
Bought this for my husband who was having difficulty with Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. After a few days of using 3-4Xs a day he began to notice a reduction in his pain. Now he's running pain free.

I used this tool during PT for an achilles injury, love having it at home! Great for stretching out your calves after a run...it doesn't get better than this!
Very useful stretching tool for anyone with tight calves and issues with their feet or achilles tendon! Better than wall stretching!
Gave this as a gift and it they like it. I've tried it too and it works well.
