I'm glad I went up a size as recommended by other reviewers. Most clothing I wear size small, but I ordered these in medium. The Pearl Izumi sizing chart was quite helpful and accurate.
I wear these while cycling and running in the cold. They're good for temps below 8 degrees Celsius (46 F); above that and I start to feel overheated. I add a layer of thin yoga capri pants when it gets around -10 C (14 F), and I imagine more layers would be needed in colder temps although I haven't tested them out yet. I really like the reflective strips and the ankle zippers which allow for easy removal.

I live in the northeast US & it is now winter. Weather is cold & damp; these pants are warm....not toasty, but comfortable between 30-50 degrees. The wicking is good; I am warm and dry when I return from evening runs. I would recommend this product.
