Features & Benefits:
Muscle supporting compression fabric with moisture management
These are my first pair of compression pants, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but wow, what a difference the compression makes! I wore these for the first time last weekend for a 5K and I couldn't believe how fresh my legs felt the entire race! I set a PR and had very little soreness the next day, too. A note on the length: I am 5'3"/120# and these (size S) came to about mid-calf on me - more like the photo of the "Capri" length Velocity tights. This is what I wanted, so I am happy about that, just FYI for other short runners like me :) The overall fit was perfect, and they seem to be of high quality. I was neither too hot nor too cold in the ~60 degree sunny and breezy weather. I can't wait to buy more in other colors!
putting the cart before the horse
Sorry but I have to send this comment: I do have this capri, it is fine for when I teach away from my studio in the summer...thank you for the wonderful colors...my NEED is that you make it in a full length tight. I teach hot yoga and presently your other tights have zippers (not good in certain poses) My oldest and best tights ever (and I have tried alot)are RRS, over 13 years of use, as I have taught many classes in them.
Please, I would even like to sell them at my studio, they are so well made, indestructable. And in these colors, I was getting so bored with blk.
Nice running tights
I am training for a 1/2 marathon and have been looking for compression knickers that help with the muscle fatigue in my legs on my longer training runs, these are nice tights, but they don't have a lot of "compression" to them. They are comfortable and I do not have problems with chaffing while wearing these. They are nice, but if you are looking for more compression, to help combat muscle fatigue, then I would look at purchasing a pair of pants/capri's from the CW-X line of running wear.
Ordered this in small as I have the shorts and longer tights in small. It was too tight behind my knees, and just generally small. The medium is perfect (I'm 5'6", 130). It has just the right amount of compression, without being super tight. Never a tug on my long runs!
RRS Knicker just the right length
I thought the RRS capri tight was just about perfect until I found the knicker. I am petite, about 5'2", and the knicker fits perfectly. They do not provide much compression, but they are comfortable and do not chafe on a long run.
Just the Right Length
These are just the right length to provide compression for my aging knees while not being too warm like many capris. The vent panels allow me to wear them on quite warm days without being uncomfortable. They do not provide the super compression of brands like CW-X, but I wasn't expecting that, and they are not as cool as shorts, but I wasn't expecting that either.

Excellent compression knickers
These knickers are the best. Perfect length, great fit, comfortable, and has a convenient pocket that I use for my cell phone. I love to wear them, and plan on buying more.
Back for more
I purchased my first pair 2-3 years ago. These have been my go to capris ever since. I wore thru the first pair about a year ago. As a spin instructor I wore thru the back end until they became transparent. My second pair is also aging. The seams in between the legs loosened and the fabric now hangs. I have worn these for multiple half marathons, countless runs and hundreds of spinning classes. Total worth every penny and happy to buy more! I am often a size small, 5'6 125lb but prefer a size M in these.
Very comfortable and light.
I got these as I was looking for something in between short running shorts and capri's to run in during the warmer months. These are ideal, I'm 6ft and they come to just below my knees. They are very lightweight and incredibly comfortable, I've found myself wearing them even when I'm not running. They fit really well and I don't have to worry about moving down as I run which is the case with some of my other running tights.
Overall I'm really pleased with them and would recommend them.
Slowly but surely
I purchased the knickers for my first marathon. Not knowing what to expect for weather, I knew I wasn't ready to break out my compression shorts or wear pants in spring. These capris were an excellent fit and made it though the entire marathon! No chaff, rubbing, or marks of any kind. The only dilemma I had was they were a little warm, as the temperature broke 70. I am short (5'0"). I always have difficulty finding a good fit for length. I would purchase these again!
Not extreme compression
I tried CWX compression tights first, and they are not made for runners with short legs. I"m 5'1, i25lbs. (could not get the knee area lined up). The RRS compression knicker is much more comfortable, but does not have as much of the compression. I wear them to the gym, running, and to buzz around on my eliptigo. I will buy another pair, the mesh at the knee is great. I bought size small. I considered an XS,but think the waist might be too small.

Great lightweight Capri!
I am very particular about my workout pants, capris, and shorts. I love these for Spring and Summer (especially) workouts and runs. They are lightweight, durable, and breathable. They are the perfect inseam on me to stay up and not feel like they are falling down. Flattering lines and details. I am a size 4 and the small is perfect. This was my 4 th pair of this particular Capri.
Run for Fun
Compression gear lets me skip my knee brace while running. The capris from my usual co don't provide as much support as their cold weather tights, so I sought a new brand. These are great: 75 degrees, 8 mile run, didn't think about them or my knee even once. And the just below the knee length and mesh patches make them as cool an option as possible.
I'm 5'5" 116# pear shape, sz 2 or 4 pants. The XS fit perfectly.
LOVE these Pants! Perfect Length!
Nice look. Nice Feel. I'm 5'5" 120 lbs, bought a small, and they are the perfect length.. just below the knee. The back has a small utility pocket but can't find the hidden side zipper they are supposed to taut. Reflective strip on the side for night running. I have the black and grey color. I'd love to purchase the blue and purple pair but not seeing them in my size.
New York, NY
Bought these last weekend at the Torrance store and they are my new favorites. In my opinion, knickers are the perfect length and companies just don't make that many options for knickers. Who wants a capri? That is 2 extra inches of material that is going to bunch up around my knees!
Another plus is that the rise is lower than others I've tried. I'm short waisted so those higher rise pants come up way too high to be flattering. Love the mesh insets as well...cute and cooling without being revealing.
I must have a pair in every color!
I bought these knickers primarily so that I wouldn't look like a doofus in running shorts at my gym's yoga class. They look awesome, are super comfy, and move right along with you during each pose. I've also worn them running, and they are work out great for that too. I'm definitely wearing them for my half-marathon next month! I'm buying another pair in the purple color right now!!
I ordered the full-length tights first and really liked them. I ordered these and like them a lot as well. I have other tights that definitely have more "compression" but overall I have no complaints about these. They are well made, comfortable and flattering. I am 5'3, 115 lbs and the XS fits well.
LOVE these pants!
I have no complaints about these compression capris. I bought 2 pairs and I really like them. They do not fall down while you are running and have a tie in the waist to prevent that from happening. They have mesh material on the sides of the pant to help with air flow. I am short, 5'3" and the length was perfect.

Great for the price!
I used these Capri leggings three times so far on runs 6-8 miles. The material is very comfortable and breathable. I would suggest buying a size smaller if you want the true feel of compression. I can't give an honest opinion on muscle recovery but it didn't seem to help or hurt.
Nice light tights
These are nice light tights for spring. I was expecting them to be more compressive so I ordered a large (I'm 5'2", 145lbs) and I could have managed with a medium. They aren't going to fall down, but I would have liked them to be snugger. They are comfortable though and breathe well.

My go to capris
I have these in four colors. They are true to size, comfortable, and great at wicking. If they had a zippered pocket like the shorts do, they would be perfect. (Sorry, but the mesh back pocket doesn't cut it.) If they had patterned versions, I am sure I would buy those too.
My favorite running pants!
I simply love these knickers--and the capri style, as well. They provide lightweight compression for hard runs and workouts, but are very comfortable and flattering. I've worn every brand under the sun, and these are a real stand-out.
New York, NY
I have bought six pairs!
I use these for running and for the gym as they fit comfortably and true to size. The venting is particularly helpful in the warm weather.
The fabric could be tad lighter in weight, but I have found them to serve all of my exercise needs.
Not a big fan
I've run in these now three times for longer distance runs, and all three times, no matter how I try and adjust them, I get chaffing at the waistband area, on my sides and on my back. Never had any issues with RoadRunner gear before, so I'll probably return this one and chalk it up to an anomaly!
I wanted capris that weren't too long, but would give my aging knees a little support. The length was perfect, falling just below my knees. I have run for 35 years and need that little extra support to keep going.

Great workout pant!
I was so excited to see what this brand was all about!! Love the fit, I own a lot of work out clothes and this is one of my favorites. I ran a 10k in them this morning and they felt wonderful!
Rancho Cucamona, CA
These are my first pair of compression pants and I love them for my long runs. I did feel my muscles were more supported. They are comfortable and flattering! I will be buying another pair for sure!
I would buy again - have several pairs
I workout 5-6 days a week and have enjoyed these pants a lot. I run, lift weights, do cross-fit and they are good for all.
Fit true to size. I am a size 4-6 in pants and I ordered a small.
I run and work out in these pants. RRS fit well and hold there shape for a long time. This is my second pair and I prefer them over my Nike's and New Balance knickers.
I LOVE THESE CAPRIS! They make you look great, they feel great and are of high quality. Wish I had them long before!
