Features & Benefits:
This item is sold as a 3 pack
DRYROAD® fabrics: Superior moisture wicking properties helps briefs dry quickly
Plush logo elastic at waist: RRS embossed elastic waist with plush inside for no chafe comfort
I've been wearing the Dryroad Briefs for a few weeks now and they are my brief of preference when running. They hold everything in place and wick moisture away without being tight of constraining. The also stay in place so there's no riding up in back or bunching up at the waist.
The Dryroad is so comfortable that I tend to wear then everyday. I found the 3-pack to be an excellent value and have, since my first order, ordered two more packs.
Fit is snug at the waistband (which I really like) and close fit without restricting everywhere else. I find that as I sweat it does a great job transporting moisture and as a results dries pretty quickly.
Son of Thor
Supportive, good for short distances
I have ridden shorter distances (12 miles) and run (8-10) in these and although a little high waisted, the majority of the brief are very comfortable. There is somewhat of a fabrication flaw where it feels like there's a piece of elastic in the crotch that is bunched up and causes chafing at longer distances. It might just be the 3 pack that I bought, but I think it's how they're designed. I started with some Brooks that are almost silky, and have had zero negative feedback on them. They're a good deal more expensive, but if you're looking for something for shorter distances, I think these RR drawers would be good. Spend a little more if you're going to put in distance.
(I wouldn't call these "poor craftsmanship" as a whole, but that one piece prevents me from scoring higher.)

Wear them every day
I bought these a couple of years ago back when they came with a mesh/breathable panel in the front. Since then they've changed the design so it is solid fabric all around. I've found them to be very comfortable since you don't have to worry about thick fabric chafing while running. I also wear them every day.
Every so often I've gotten a pair with some poor craftsmanship that has lead to stitches coming apart despite taking care of them in the wash.
I will use these underwear bottoms to run or golf in, or to wear on hot days with casual wear. For the most part they are very comfortable, fabric is light, comfortable and wicks well. My problem is that the waistband seems high. I need to double the waist band over to get it to sit where I want it on my hips. I have a 34" waist, so maybe they run a little big. I'd suggest double checking the fitting chart or asking one of RRS's experts for sizing help.
Good enough to go out in
I bought these briefs primarily to run in. Other products, including jock straps, caused chafing and rubbing. These are very comfortable and lightweight. Though, I am not sure about support. I have not yet used them in a marathon. However, they seem to be a great alternative to every day wearing. Only reason I gave 4 stars is their durability. Great product so far though.
Protect Your Jewels
Wear this daily as support for workouts. Love the wicking, easy laundering and drying. Ideal for cycling classes, yoga, weight work and any active sports. I have been wearing Dryroad briefs for many years now. When I find a product that works well I stick with it and reorder as needed.
Lovin my Runderpants
These briefs fit great and work well in the 90 degree inferno I've been forced to run in this summer in Las Vegas. I haven't tried them in the winter but hopefully they'll be perfect there as well. No chafing even after a 10 mile run in them. It's been impossible to find affordable lined running shorts and these "runderpants" allow me to run in any unlined pair of shorts I have. I'm sure the products from the high end manufacturers are great too but you can't beat this price.
Las Vegas, NV
I was looking for a product to provide a little better support than traditional running shorts during long and/or intense runs. I was having issues with discomfort and pain in the genitals and lower abdomen after races. This product fit the bill perfectly and I have not had any issues since I started using the product. I spent a day laid up after a half-marathon a month ago and just did a 10-miler last weekend and had no recurring pain and discomfort.
I Would NOT Order One Size Smaller
[...] I finally received a 3-Pack of Black Size Large. I use them gym workouts and tennis. I also own a 3-Pack of Grey which seem to be made slightly different. I have found the Black to be true to size (I have 35-36" waist) and maybe even a little bit tight around the legs (not waist), so I do not agree with the previous comment to buy a size down. My grey ones are not as tight. While these are good and an excellent value, I think I still prefer the Under Armour Boxer Jock.
I look hot in these!
In all seriousness, I use these briefs to replace some of the "built-in" liners that come with many running shorts. Sometimes those liners are too baggy and do not provide enough support. In those cases, I cut them out and wear these instead. Works great and really comfortable. The best gear is the stuff you never have to think about and these definitely qualify. Perfect for both short (3-6 miles) and longer (7-14 miles) runs. Wife even likes me to vacuum the house in them. Great moisture management and you can't even feel that they are on. Price is also the best I have seen (I got the 3-pack). Going to try them out for the upcoming Tough Mudder in Bever Creek, CO this June which should put them (and me) to the real test...
great everyday briefs!
I've had a version of these for years, and they wore so well, that I keep coming back. I used to run and these were perfect for moisture whicking...but now are just as great for everyday wear. The only change I would make is for the wasteband to match the brief. Mine were white briefs with black wasteband. Highly recommend.
Light and comfortable
[...] I thought they were too thin to provide "support" for men. But from my first run, they are really comfortable and supportive!! They are really lightweight and do not pinch or bunch at all. The only change I would make is to make them a bit shorter. I feel the waist band is a bit high, but that's personal preference. Great product for the price!!
I found that the sizing was a bit generous. I bought a M which is usually fine for me. I think I'll order a S next time. If you are looking for a snugger fit with more support, you might think of ordering a size down. Otherwise, I'm happy with these. They are working well under tights for this winter.

Good for under tights
Fit and construction are good, and these minimize chafing and do a good job of wicking moisture. Great fit under tights and running pants.
My only comment is that they tend to ride a little bit in the back. I'm not a big guy, and they still felt like they weren't covering enough in the rear.

Excellent product that will last a long
I've bought this product before and it lasted several years, this is why I purchased it again. It can be used both in sports as well as regular daily use. The sizing is slightly small because of the elastic waistband. All in all, a great product.
West Palm Beach, FL
Overall, I found this product to be great. The only problem is for me, when I usually buy underwear, I'm a medium. With these, the mediums are a little too loose so i got a size smaller, and it fit perfectly. Great underwear!
purchased these to use as a cool weather, low profile liner to allow quick changes from cycling shorts to running shorts. (in warm weather, I just use tri-shorts) They fit well and don't chafe. They are NOT a wind brief, but do allow an extra layer of protection in cool weather.
Very satisfied with the purchase. I bought both the black and grey 3 packs and use them very regularly during cold weather training. Tried them for everyday use as well and they are versatile and comfortable. Highly recommended for running.
No chafing and great comfort
I've worn these briefs for several short and a few long runs. They are extremely comfortable, completely eliminate chafing, and help keep me dry. I can't feel any seams. Ran a half marathon in them with no complaints whatsoever. I'll be buying more of these.
Dry comfortable briefs
These are extremely comfortable briefs. I wear them for regular as well as athletic use. Good fit, very cool, last forever. I have some that are nearly 5 years old that are still in great shape. Not for cold weather wear.
St. Paul, MN
After several years, had to purchase some new briefs. The durability and comfort of the prior RRS product was superb. I couldn't believe it but the new product is even better! I won't even try anything else. Highly recommended!
Great product; fair price
I work out 4-5 days per week and play competitive USTA league tennis. This is my third order of this item and they keep improving the product every time. Dry, cool, comfortable, durable. Highly recommended. Very fairly priced.
Worth every penny.
I use these when I run and they are the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. Eliminates sweat rash. Light weight and very, very comfortable. Did I say very comfortable....
Comfy enough for everyday
I started using these briefs a few years ago and now they are the only briefs I wear. They last longer than traditional cotton and dont chafe. Great for running and for everyday wear.
personally don't like relying on the liner you find in most running shorts,. so these fit for the purpose quite well. Really can't stand wearing regular cotton briefs when running, so these are a welcome alternative and very comfortable.
Comfy and useful
I use these for daily wear and running. I have made these my standard brief because they are very comfortable, useful and last well. A great choice and affordable as well.
Great product! I liked the dryroad briefs so much that purchased a 2nd 3 pack. Great for working out, running and everyday use. I do recommend this product.
Nice comfortable fit
used well for running in warm weather, they are pretty thin material, but looks like it will holdup. the waistband rides higher then i prefer, but It is not a problem.
I use these for daily running (5-6 miles). The briefs feel true to size and provide solid, comfortable support. I tend to wear them a bit low on the waist, or else the waist band will dig in a bit. I highly recommend these.
Great for running or the office!
Bought for wearing under my running tights and they work great. So well in fact they are now my daily use briefs and all others have been thrown away.

No chafing, but could offer more support. I agree with the one review that suggested you buy one size smaller. Could also use a wind panel like the old RRS briefs I still have and have used for years.

These are great to wear under tights, cycling shorts, or even just thermal underwear when it gets cold. The underwear are the only part that gets sweaty and smelly anyway, so you can minimize what you need to wash. They breathe well, also.

Extremely comfortable. Good 'hold' without feeling too tight or constraining. I use them for running and working out. Will definitely be ordering more. I haven't had the problems with the elastic others have referenced.

These were exactly what I was looking for to wear under my running pants in cold weather. I am not a fan of jocks and was looking for something similar to the liners in my running shorts. So far, so good. The only issue is the elastic on the inner leg tends to creep up every now and then, more so than my running shorts.

I had a pair of Brooks Runderwear that I've probably run 2000 miles in, and they're finally coming apart.
I was able to get three pair of these for the same price as ONE Runderwear.
So far, they are just as comfortable and provide similar support. I'll have to see how long they last.

I forgot to mention my complaints. The elastic on the inner leg portion could be a bit tighter for better support. The rear of the underwear could be remedied if they weren't so loose there.

These are the only such items I have tried so I can't compare them with others. However they are cheap and work a lot better than underwear under running or biking tights in the cold, or even under thermal underwear for every day cold weather use. It makes such things much more comfortable (no sweaty crotch). These are the cheapest too.

For running, these briefs are good, but not great. I would prefer a windbrief or the cool jock under a pair of running shorts. However, for light impact activities, like golf and aerobics, these briefs work well for that. I also find them comfortable for everyday underwear also. They feel good under a pair of nice slacks.

These are not as comfortable as the Dryroad jock. They don't allow as much freedom of movement as I like around the leg bands.
