Worked for me

4

I'm a walker, not a runner, but I still need a lot of cushion when I'm doing 30+ miles a week. I have a narrow foot and high arches, and these feel totally comfortable. The arch hits me in the right place and I can't feel it. I experience a lot of tenderness in the ball of the foot area, and these seem to provide the cushion I need while still being able to feel the road. The price was right.

Like Running on Heaven

5

First off, I am a big guy-5'10", 250 lbs.-if it works for me it works for anyone. I am a mild pronator and in my size 13 4eee, I need as lightweight of a shoe as I can get. I don't feel like these weight me down a bit. I tried to save a few pennies by not ordering these for my last few sets of shoes-no bueno! I won;t do that again, it took the fun out of running and shortened the life of my shoe. I sweat-A LOT, these don't get weighty and appear to be made more of a breathable cloth than the inserts of old that were mostly just rubber. Nice job RR-good stuff!

Great insoles!

5

These insoles are really great! I'm pleased with the way they fit into my shoes and they feel like they are good quality. They take a little bit of break in time (as in, they provide motion control which may take getting used to at first), but otherwise they are fantastic! I am a neutral runner with high arches and I can defintely tell a positive difference in my legs and feet after a run with these inserts! They've made an older pair of running shoes feel new again! I definitely recommend these for the price! Happy running!

Great Combo with Mizuno Wave Elixir

5

I bought these to complement my Mizuno Wave Elixir 4s which were just a little "baggy" with the factory insoles. Buy them true to shoe size so 11 with 11 shoe. Made for a perfect fit....I ran PRs in Blackforest and Athens Marathons in that combo and just ordered another set!

More cushion for the pushin

4

I was nervous about trying them. I first used them in an older pair of running shoes and they felt amazing. I got about another 100 miles out of those shoes. I used them for about a month until my new shoes were broke in. Now I use them in my new shoes for added cushion since I am running about 25 miles or more a week. I would recommend them for anyone who is endurance training.

Road Runner Sports Cushion are heaven

5

When I purchased my new New Balance 993 running shoes the sales representative recommended the Road Runner Sports Cushion, they were on sale, I figured why not try them. They are awesome! I was worried they would make my running shoes feel tight or even cause my foot to slide but they fit perfectly and I have had nothing but good runs with them. I will definately purchase a set with every new pair of running shoes.

When they say the ...

2

When they say the "designed for a neutral runner with high arches" they mean it. If you don't have high arches don't buy these insoles. There is way too much insole in the arch area - especially with a normal width shoe. The other brand of cushion insoles RRS sold was so much better and more versatile for runners with different arches - which is what a cushioned insole should be.

Light weight w/ just enough cushion!

5

I have used this product both in training and in racing! With most other insoles I've tried, they've always added extra weight which slowed me down... However, these give the perfect cushion without adding unnecessary weight giving me comfort and support while keeping me light on my feet!

Great Insoles, a real knee saver

4

A while back I purchased a more expensive insole from RR Sports. When their rep suggested the RR insole, I was a bit skeptical but was pleasantly surprised. I can't run due to bad knees but walk 5 or more miles a day in the mountains on gravel roads. Without these insoles, I couldn't do it even with the best of running shoes. Adding these insoles allows me to keep on going.

Delivers promised cushioning

4

Bought these to go with my Mizuno Wave Riders since the feel with the standard insoles was quite firm. The RR insoles delivered instant cushioning! The only problem is that these seem to be D sized insoles and I wear a 2E shoe. My pinky toes actually hung over the edge of the insoles so I had to get some old ones and cut strips to fill the side gaps. Not the ideal solution, but it worked. One week after getting these, I ran a half marathon with no foot pain.

MEN'S NEW BALANCE 1064 RUNNING SHOES

4

I run 10-15 miles per week in these shoes. They are comfortable for runs of 6 miles or less and are light and feel quick. But, I tend to feel a bit uncomfortable on those longer runs beyond 6 miles in my feet mainly (I run on my toes predominantly). I put inserts in the shoes for those long runs and that seems to help. Overall I really like the shoes and purchased another pair for when these wear out eventually.

What a difference-maker!

5

Before I tried these insoles, I would seldom run more than 3-4 miles at a time, nor would I run more than 3 days in a row, because my joints would start to ache, etc. With the new insoles, I am able to run as much as I want to - without any aches or pains! I won't ever run again without a pair of these insoles in my shoes. TERRIFIC PRODUCT!

Old shoes given new life

4

I bought these to make my new shoes more comfortable and supportive. However, they didn't come small enough to fit my shoes so I upgraded my old shoes and was extremely happy with the results. I hadn't been able to wear my old shoes because they made my sciatic worse. The insoles allow me to wear something comfortable all day long.

I just got these insoles, so I've only run in them a few times. I have bad knees and thought they may help out a little bit. It seems like my knees didn't hurt as bad today after my run, so maybe it just takes time. I think the real benefit for these insoles will be longevity for the shoe. I'll let you know in about three months. I've got nothing bad to say, if you need insoles, these are good.

Great Relief

5

After a recent 21 mile hike around Lake Geneva (WI) my wife and I both experienced some foot discomfort. My wife has high arches and a heavy step. I have low arches and weigh 210 lbs. These insoles immediately relieved our pain and we're back hiking again!

My favorite insoles!

5

These are my favorite insoles. I wear them for every run. They are comfortable and provide the right support for me. I bought the Sorbothane Ultrasole when the RRS Neutral Cushion were out of stock. I much prefer the RRS Neutral Cushion! The Sorbothane Ultrasole felt 'squishy' and not supportive enough for me. I'm glad I could get the RRS Neutral Cushion this time!

Good Insoles for the Price

4

I'm new to running and decided to try some insoles in order to help with knee pain I was experiencing. This product definitely helped. I feel they made my shoes a little heavier than I would generally like, but nothing too bad -- I think they are a great deal for the price!

Puts the ride back in the stride!

5

Great method to keep that new shoe cushion feeling in your running shoes. These insoles are good for a few miles or the many miles of ultras. They are a real asset that every runner should employ to maximize their workout.

Very Comfortable Ride

4

I use these insoles in my everyday running shoes. I have experiences a bit of lower back pain. I forogt how bad the insoles are that come with new shoes. I inserted these into my month old Mizzunos, and instantly felt the lower back pain ease. The comfort was obvious from the first step.

I am using these in a pair of North Face running shoes and I am very happy with them. New life for an expensive pair of shoes that were almost ready to be retired. I may get another hundred miles out of them now!

Excellent Cushioning While Running

I always look for extra support for my fussy feet and these insoles really provide what I need to make my runs and walks so much more comfortable. I am able to focus more on my speed and distance than how my feet are bothering me!

Highly recommend this product! Worth it!

5

I use it for additional support. It provides the support I need. The sterdyness and the soft support is what I require and this product provides it. Could be a little more flexible, but not a big issue.

Great value!

5

I've purchased a variety of more expensive insoles but keep coming back to this basic RRS model. They provide the lightweight cushioning and support I need at a good price. I wear them in my running shoes as well as hiking boots and sneakers. Probably work best for those with medium arches.

Sole Good!

5

I never tried a insole before. A customer service rep introduced me to it on my last shoe order. I like it! I'm a bouncy runner and feel that the insole will help reduce the impact and hopefully keep me from some wear and tear on my body.

Very Cushiony

3

I purchased this insole after reading comments and thought this might be a helpful addition to my running shoes. I have a high arch and over-pronate in my running. I have been experiencing some arch pain on long runs and lower leg/calf strain as well. The insoles were an improvement over the insoles that came with the shoes. However, I don't think the insoles fully support my feet as I have the same pains as before and any difference in how I feel on long runs is negligible. Also, the insoles are a bit thick; my heel sits a lot higher in the shoe with these on and the toe box feels tighter. I tried to modify the heel portion to help with the height, with little sucess. After these insoles, I tried the green Superfeet brand. (Note: I did not purchase through the website, as I needed a quick alternative, but the product is sold here I believe) The green Superfeet are a much better fit for me. Plenty of arch support and aren't much thicker than the original insoles. If you like a lot of "cushion" the Superfeet may not be for you, as they are a bit stiffer, esp in the arch to heel portion. The fit from the heel cup to arch is great for my high arch. This is not to say the blue RSS Bounce insole is a bad product; I think there are better insoles out there for high arches. I will probably put the RSS insoles in a pair of work or hunting boots and have happier feet.

The Perfect Package

Recommended and bought these for a friend who wants to run the Honolulu Marathon for the very first time. He LOVES these insoles: light weight, comfortable and the price can't be beat. The "Perfect Package".

AWESOME, RUNNING ON AIR!

5

I did not want to change the shape of the shoes at all, but love more cushioning. These are fantastic! You feel like you are running on pillows!! Great improvement compared to RR's past neutral insole. Very breatheable, too.

I never run without them

I always insert the cush-runners in each pair of my running shoes. I can get more mileage out of my shoes and they prevent me from having any joint pain. They fit easily in any pair of shoes.

I purchased these insoles at the same time I bought the Saucony Omni 8's. I took them home put in the insoles, walked out the door and ran 8 miles with no problem whatsoever. I have no idea what people are talking about as far as the arches being too high. I by no means have high arches and the insoles are absolute heaven. I've been looking for an insole that provides a bit more softness to the ride of the shoe but does not prohibit the shoe from it's natural ride. I've had two back surgeries and these are perfect. I will use these for all of my running shoes.

I liked the heel cup and anti-odor lining. However, the arch is way too long for me as it tended to rub on my joint at the big toe. It took me some time to figure out why only one foot was hurting at that point (right foot). The edge of the arch was pressing into that area.
