ROAD RUNNER SPORTS DRYMAX DRY-AS-A-BONE MEDIUM CUSHION CREW 3 pack :: A solid foundation is the key to long term success. Which is why your performance depends on the cool comfort of Road Runner Sport Drymax Dry-As-A-Bone Medium Cushion Crew Sock. Built with incredible comfort and cushioning, no other sock will keep you as dry. But best of all, they're constructed with antimicrobial fibers, so blisters and odors will never come to call.
I never thought I could get excited about socks...but holy cats these rock! I just started running and was basically wearing whatever was clean; then I went to a RR store to get fitted for shoes when I was having numbness in my toes. Not only did they find the perfect shoe, but the socks they had me use (these) were so [*]comfortable I had to buy them straight away and then a few more on line. As I said, these are fantastic socks.

I've not found any socks in stores that fit feel as great as these socks. I purchased 3--two to run in and one for a special treat wear in the house. Just wished they weren't so expensive!

The sock is great for exercising and running, or just casual use. It provides additional support above and beyond that provided by my GTS 11s. I would fully recommend this to anyone who gets tired feet from any foot activity..

I bought these for running, but have added them to my daily wear. The price is higher than I like, but I am hoping they will wear well and be worth the extra cost. Other RRS socks have lasted for years with daily running.

I have bought many socks over 30 years of running and these are among the best I have owned. They fit well are very durable and comfortable.

I was looking for a good cushioned sock that would stay up. This one fits the bill to a "T". Comfortable snug fit that stays put.

Excellent sock for long distance running

The sock has just enough compression to reduce foot pain, but does not feel uncomfortable or too tight definitley allows your foot to splay. I like that it goes up mid calf to help with calf fatigue as well. I could use these on any run and not worry about them getting bunched up anywhere. They maintaing their fit. I have an issue with paying over ten dollars for a pair of socks and would not have tried them, but I received a ten dollar off promo which made the price a little easier. I needed more socks and there aren't many choices over in Kuwait where I am. I think they are too expensive.

These are the socks to have! They are very comfortable, and cushion well. No rub points or rough seams.

About what I expected...

I ordered these because the multi-colored Trail Running crew socks RR used to sell apparently wore too well and were discontinued. I still have ten or so pairs of the old socks but they are finally giving up the ghost, so I bought these to see if maybe they would replace them. They did not, they are tighter (same size ordered as the trail crew socks I wanted) and tend to keep my feet warmer, so they sweat more, so the fact that they are supposed to wick moisture is a good thing. For me, too pricey and too stretchy/tight.

Were great socks; design changed and now they are terrible

I bought some white and black versions, and they were great. They felt good and they fit perfectly and would give them 5 stars. I decided to buy another set of white socks 2 weeks later. I assumed they would be the same since they were the exact same catalog number. But after washing them and then putting them on, I realized they were really different. The fit is now terrible and they bunch up at the back heel, hence the 1 star rating. I bought them 2 weeks apart so I thought it was a mistake. Nope - I called and they said the design was just changed.
You can tell if you have the old ones or new ones based on where the "R" logo is located. If it's at the top of the foot like in the new picture, they are the new ones. The old ones have the logo on the back side of the cuff on the ankle and nothing on the top of the foot.
Why oh why did they change what was a really nice sock??? Please go back to the old design!

Perfect cool-dry activity sock!

This is not a sitting by the fire "winter warming" sock.
It works great for keeping your feet dry and cool while active, just as it is designed to do. It also acts as comfortable "ankle support" for varicose veins, but is not advertised for this purpose.
Perfect for 95% of my uses, here in Southern California.

Excellent fit for women's feet.

Thin enough to run and walk in - supportive and extremely comfortable. Owned for several months and show no wear at all. Wash and dry on low heat = no problems so far. Very reasonably priced for socks of this quality. 5 miles 3 to 4 times/week with my superfeet insoles so they've definitely gotten a work out. Great for people who sweat - like me!

Great Socks!

I recently ordered a three pack of these in the medium thickness and am happy with the purchase. The socks perform as advertised and the fit was accurate per the sizing chart. The socks do a good job of keeping my feet dry. I use them for everything from regular daily wear to working out. The medium thickness seems to be a good choice for all around activity. It remains to be seen how they hold up but they seem like a quality product. Wish the price was a little lower though.

I wanted some winter running socks that were long enough to go up under my running tights, and I wanted black so that I didn't have the white socks showing at the bottom of my tights. These socks, which I ordered in black, accomplished both things. I've worn them several times and I like them a lot. They are warm, comfortable and suited to winter running.

I have been using these socks for running for the past 2 years. They are very durable and fantastic for wicking moisture. I can go for long runs in the snow with just these and my shoes, and my feet never feel cold or wet. Have done 3 marathons with these, about to do a fourth, and no blisters! You will not be disappointed.

Asymmetrical socks are a pain

Maybe this just applies to size large: Both socks have a bright red L, the left has a small gray L and the right a small gray R. Inevitably, I put one on my left foot, notice the small gray R, and start over. It is like putting 4 socks in each time... To me, outweighs the alleged benefit of sided socks.

I use these socks only for running and they are great. They fit well and are a couple inches higher than other crew socks which I really like.
I will definitely buy this brand again but will opt for the lighter style which should make future runs even better.

I've gotten these socks in the crew and ankle lengths and really love them. One hint:
DON"T MACHINE DRY THEM IF YOU WANT THEM TO LAST AND KEEP THE ELASTIC IN SHAPE. BESIDES, THEY DRY
QUICKLY ON THEIR OWN.
Good socks, go for it!

I wore another style of running socks from Road Runner Sports for many years and was hesitant to switch, but couldn't be any happier with these socks. Ran two marathons in three weeks and expereinced absolutely no issues with these great socks!

Excellent with only one complaint

I now have five three-packs of these socks. Pros: They fit well - though pay close attention to the sizing. They give some support in the arch. They don't pill like cotton/terry socks.
My one complaint is that a thread near the top sometimes comes loose. Happened on multiple pairs. It doesn't affect the durability of the socks, but it's annoying to have a thread loose. Be very careful. Don't succumb to the temptation to pull the thread. Get a pair of scissors and cut it carefully.

Great for light packing to long distance destinations. A good hiking sock that is easy to wash out in the sink and dry overnight. Very valuable to someone with tight packing travel requirements.

I've run in these for about five years now and the originals are finally starting to get holes. I've worn the longer versions all day for a couple years now as well. These socks are the best.

Great support, great fit, sock is true to size not loss or baggy, warm and comfortable. Better than those cotton athletic sock on the market, after a couple of washings just don't fit right.

Greatest socks possible!

I've run in quarter length for at least five years. I now use the crew length for daily use. They keep my feet run-ready at all times, as they don't ever bunch up like the cheaper crew socks.

These socks are pretty thick and comfortable. They might be too hot to wear someplace normal, but since I live in Fairbanks, Alaska (and it's still wintry-ish here), they are just right.

I use my RRS Drymax socks for running, walking, and inside my kayak drysuit. Socks are comfortably tight, not too thick, not too thin. To early to tell how many miles they are good for.
