Nice gloves!

My daughter bought these for me as a gift. I have worn them now several times in temperatures in the range of mid-20s with fairly gusty wind making it more like mid-teens temp. I like them! They are soft, the tech tip works well, and keep my hands warm. I wore them for a race that was quite cold and where I spent a period of time not moving, waiting for the race to start, etc. Combined with a hand warming packet, they worked perfectly. I have also worn them on regular runs where I'm moving the entire time while outside and found them ideal. The only negative about them was that the logo on the left glove peeled off after one wear. Not a huge issue at all.

loved them enough to buy another pair

I needed a new pair of running gloves for an average Michigan winter day. I liked this pair, but was uncertain after reading the reviews about not being warm enough. I still bought a pair. Wore them on a 20 degree day with a 15 mph wind in an open area. They were wonderful. Kept my hands warm, but not hot. The wind was not an issue. Plus they were soft and comfortable. I bought another pair this morning.

Love my gloves

Love these gloves. Used them all winter here in Michigan, and there were only two days. that I had to wear an extra layer (sub zero). The cool thing was that they were just light enough to wear for driving when I first get in tha car, and the steering wheel is very cold. They were so good, that I just ordered another pair: One for running, one for just hanging around.

Warm but soggy at 40 degrees

Used gloves for a blustery lakefront run with temps in high 30s. They became wet with sweat quickly (plus for warmth!) and did not dry until later. Stayed warm until I removed them briefly, then it took a while to warm them up again. Switched to other gloves for bike ride home, due to wind. Will be trying in slightly colder temps soon and have high hopes.

Very happy with new gloves!

5

Just ran in these gloves for the first time, and have to say I love them so far. My hands tend to get cold easily on winter runs. This morning, it was 38 degrees F with 10-15 MPH winds and my hands were very comfortable in these. I may end up adding hand warmers when temps drop to 30 or below. Very soft microfleece provided better protection from the wind compared to other similar weight gloves I have. That softness was really appreciated by my nose, too, as I have a "high liquid volume sinus system" requiring lots of "management" on cold weather runs. While wearing the gloves, I was able to handle pocket zippers and keys moderately easily, not as easily as with thinner gloves, but easier than with heavy gloves or fingers numb from the cold. And I love the color. Lord knows, we have enough black winter running gear, am I right?

Toasty and Soft!

So it's August and I live in NYC, needless to say I haven't tested these out yet. But, they do seem to be quite warm and are definitely soft and comfortable. Love the phone sensitive spots on them too. Highly recommend. If they aren't warm enough when it gets really brutal, there is enough space to wear glove liners under them too. They'll definitely work for winter!

They're warm but....

These gloves are too hot for my climate (Northern California). They also did not breathe well and my hands were sweaty. However, I purchased them for the touch pads on the gloves so that I did not have to take my glove off to change songs while running. The touch pad did not work with my iPhone and I had to take them off to use my phone.

Comfortable and warm

I bought these not knowing what to expect from R gear. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Even when the temp drops into the teens with the winds blowing, these keep my hands toasty warm. Also in the rain or snow, these work great! Well worth the price!

not well made

Not very good for cold-weather running: the wind cuts right through them.Fine for use in temps above about 35. The seam attaching the thumb to the body of one of the gloves is coming unstitched after only 5 or 6 wearings. Also, the small/medium is too big for me - I'm a slightly-smaller-than-average woman but hardly tiny.

Cozy, soft, & warm

These are nice gloves & will keep your hands warm in weather 50 or warmer. Just wore these to Denver, & at night when it got below 45, my hands were pretty cold with the gloves on. So these are not good for below 45 weather, IMO.

Didn't work in 10 below

They are comfortable but even at 20 degrees they are borderline for warmth...this morning at 10 below when I finished a 2 mile run my fingers were red ..not enough cold protection...
