I purchased these to try compression socks for the first time, and I'm impressed.
A few details about me: 28, male, distance runner, 5'11", 155 lbs.
I got these to help with the fact that I often have to sit for long periods of time at work, and following a long run, or a race, that's not a pleasant thing at the office. They fit true to size (I got a medium, and I wear a 10.5 size shoe). and aren't so compressing that you notice it all day, but like any long sock, you will have to spend some time pulling them up every so often.
PROS: they fit; they're not obnoxious so everyone notices that you're wearing compression socks; they're soft; they handle washings well.
CONS: I found the mediums to be a hair long for my taste. They come up to the mid part of my knee, which isn't a good place for them, so I have to fold them over. Largely that's a minor flaw that doesn't overwhelm the benefit of the sock.
USES: I can see myself using these following a long run, during a long training run, or for the latter part of an ultra race. Also, if you're forced to be seated for a long period of time, they're a godsend. Consider them for road trips, airline travel, and things of that nature where you know you won't be getting up often. Be forewarned, they are not terribly thick, so using them as a means of staying warm, exclusively, is not something I'd find much utility in.
Overall, they're great, and I'd recommend them!
Good compression socks
The first run I wore these socks on was a 19 miler. I experienced no blisters or discomfort from the socks on my feet.
The socks do not fit as tight as my cwx compression socks but that comes down to personal preference. But for half the price I would not mark this as a reason to go against buying the socks.
The only con I have experienced so far is the socks feel like they retain a lot of heat, and it can get bad when the temperature rises.

A GOOD DEAL
Just received my shipment of these socks a couple of days ago and wore them on an hour-long run yesterday. I found them extremely comfortable and nicely designed. The fit was perfect (I am 5'10"; I bought size Medium). In terms of compression, the socks don't seem as tight as other pairs that I own (Zensah and CW-X), so that may be a slight drawback. Since I've only worn the socks once so far, I can't comment on durability yet, but at this point I would definitely consider buying another pair.
New York City
a "must have" for my long runs.
i use them during my long runs on Saturdays. I'm training for a half marathon, and the first time i ran 7 miles my legs felt so extremely tired, for days... now, i have been using the compression socks for the long runs and i have done another 7mile run + an 8mile and 9mile consecutive weekends, and i have not felt the legs as tired, they have felt back to normal later on the same day.
I bought these for post running and for wearing while doing longer runs, but have found myself wearing them to work due to the ciculation assistance they provide. Sometimes I have to sit a lot and I want to make sure the ciculation is good. I am buying more of these so I can have a few pairs on hand.

Held up over hill and dale
I wore mine on a hilly trail half marathon race, and they held up just as well as brands twice the price - I thought they might slip (as other brands have done) during the race, but they did not.
Yes, they're less expensive and not medical grade that other brands advertise but for an entry level compression they worked really well.

Best compression socks
These are the best compression socks I own. I bought them to help with a circulation problem in my legs and even my doctor approves of them. They rise a little high on the knee, but I can work with that. Please bring them back to your regular product line up in other sizes besides small. I would buy them again.
Great, affordable compression socks
I wore these after a 16 mile training run on Saturday, and they felt really good. My calves & feet felt wrapped in warm support. Toward the end of the day (after > 10 hours of wear), they did get a little too warm, but I was ready to take them off anyway. I only wish I could have found the same level of support for my quads & hamstrings!
not what i expected
I use this for walking hoping it would help with he pain I suffered years ago from a calf injury after jumping off a bus. I have experienced pain when trying to run since.
I still have pain even with these socks because i was hoping their support would help keep this calf pain. guess not, but will wear anyway.

Wanted to love them
I bought two pairs of these as I needed some compression to wear on a daily basis and didn't want to spend $40-50 per pair. These felt great and were very comfortable BUT after only two wears they developed a hole in the toe. RRS took them back no problem, but now I am back to finding affordable everday compression socks!
I have not tried compression socks before now. I thought they were pricey, and how much could they really to? Right? Wrong!
I like these docks! My feet, ankles, and calves really do feel better.
AND added bonus, these are the lowest price of all compression socks I've found.
Way to go RRS!

WHAT A FEELING!!
I am new to running. My calfs would always be sore and it would take a couple of days just to recover from one run. With these, I don't suffer with the pain and soreness I once suffered and the recovery is instant. No soreness at all!!!
bought these for my husband who normally uses the CW-X or Zensah brands, but as I have had great results from other Road Runner grear, I thought these socks would be up to the same standards. Nope. Spend the money on the better made socks! These did not make it through even one use before the treads tore creating three separate holes.
So darn comfortable!
These have far surpassed my expectations. They are so very comfortable, with a nice amount of compression. They are not medical grade, nor are they advertised as such. These are so very worth the minimal dollar amount.

Great compression sock for a long run
Highly recommended for use during long runs. Not as expensive as CEP and compression is better. I go down a size for a little extra compression and no issues with wear or over tight foot.

Great compression socks
When I travel or finish working out, I found that these compression socks prevented lower leg swelling or blood pooling. My legs feel refreshed when using the socks.
I'm 6'4" and the size M easily goes all the way to my knee. The M also fits my size 10.5 feet well. I'd like a little more compression, but they're a fantastic option if you can't afford $60 for a pair of name-brand compression socks.
Strong Calf Support
Great calf support but minimal support on the heels (very thin and no padding).
The website service, however, was INCREDIBLE. Amazingly fast delivery and follow up.
these socks work anytime that you will need the benefit of a compression sock, like running, riding a bike, or even traveling long distance on an airplane.

Not for me
I was a little disappointed with the fit. I bought a size small, and they felt like any ordinary sock would on my calves. I would not consider my calves to be small. I have the same brand running tights, and they are a little snug around my calves. I will be purchasing a different brand of compression socks.
Don't pull it up tight to your knee. Adjust the material to be uniform to an inch below the back of you knee, that way it won't pinch.
I am a bartender and am on my feet a lot. These socks provide great support without being too restrictive.
Great for long days at work
I'm on my feet all day at work. These compression socks keep my legs from cramping, swelling and getting tired.
These are great.
I use these socks while running and they make my legs feel great. Wish I had discovered these earlier.
Other reviews said that these tended to be tight on the calf, I find them looser than my other compression socks. They are comfortable and feel great! I have not used them for a long run yet.
great movement support
would be nice if knees were also covered with the sock like support hose.
Perfect support! Legs felt great. I was afraid they would make my run to hot since I live in Puerto Rico and the humidity and heat has kicked up. But to my surprise all was cool.
Excellent fit and price
It might feel a little too thin at the foot. So I use a running sock in top.
I have shin splints and these really minimize the pain associated with it.
Husband waers for long walks and travel.
