Almost Enough Support for My Disabilities

How I use the product: I use these as supports for my legs and feet; I have shin splints and high arches. They significantly reduce my shin splint problems I recently developed. I used to be able to walk miles without issue, but shin splints kick in around a few feet. I can walk as I had. These socks alone can't support my high arches. I guess that's what I get for doing ballet and having weaker-than-usual muscles. Overall, they do help stabilize my legs, keeping daily tasks comfortable. NOTE: I have not checked "athletics" or "travel" in the "best uses" section simply because I've not tried those with these socks. From what use I've gotten out of them in the month I have had them, I imagine they would be helpful for me in those situations as well. Things that are great about it: These, as you would assume, are nice and tight compression socks. They are comfortable and fit my 7.5W feet in the S size sock. They're possibly a bit too tight in the calf, but I opted for the S rather than the M size as I hardly ever have a sock fit my feet. These fit perfect. They may be a bit difficult to put on, but they ease up after a couple uses. I waited to wash, in case it deteriorated the stretch, but it came right back after the wash. As a disabled person who bought these for my disabilities, and as one with a considerable amount of brain fog and executive dysfunction, I appreciate the helpful "L" and "R" sticking by the toes. For those of you interested in the colors, the "tickled pink" is slightly more pink than peach and not too strong (i.e., it's not neon) or too light (i.e., it's not ice pink). The "mintify"is less mint than it is a light, slightly teal, blue. They are both very cute. Things that aren't so great about it: My problem of putting on the socks myself likely is more of an issue of my straightening back than the product. These socks are more than a bit difficult to put on for me, even sitting down. Then again, my spine is losing its natural curve, making it more difficult for me to balance. And my muscles tend to be weaker than they should be, so pulling the socks up myself is difficult. It's possible that people who normally have issues putting on their own socks will still have that problem with these. People who usually don't, like myself, also may have problems.

Way too short

I purchased this item after buying the same brand and color in the calf sleeves. I love the sleeves so much I wanted to try the compression socks out. I purchase the compression socks to use when I'm running or for recovery. I was disappointed in the fit. I really wanted to love this product but the fit is completely off. I am by no means a tall person, only 5'3 and the socks come up to mid calf at beat. I regret throwing away the packaging and unable to return the product.

A definite buy!

I have never tried compression socks so I was not sure what to expect. They work great! I have been running for about a year and have been adding distance to my regime. I started having shin problems. I purchased these socks to wear after running. I wore them after 3 different runs and my shin problems have gone away. I highly recommend wearing compression socks after a long run.

Beware these run very short!

I should have heeded the other reviews that staed the socks were too short. They only came part way up my calf. It is too bad because I liked the material and the amount of compression but the fit is so poor I cannot use them to run. I am not even sure I can wear them for casual because they hit at such an awkward place on my calf.

Not tall enough

These seem like really nice socks and a good value but I have to return them. I ordered a size small (which is the correct size based on measurements) and I'm a 5'4" female and they only came half way up my calf. No where in the description is the height of the sock listed and I assumed that like most compression socks I've seen that they would be knee high.

Too short!

This sock seems to be good quality (in terms of materials), BUT it only reaches to mid-calf (which is too low). Plus, as a result of only being mid-calf, it tends NOT to stay up after moderate exercise. Future versions need to be consistent with other compression socks -- i.e., cover the entire calf!

Poor Design for a compression stocking

If you want these socks for compression my advice would be do not buy them. They only go half way up your calf and shin, cutting off circulation mid-calf. If they went up to below the knee they would be wonderful; however, they do not and therefore I returned them.

Not so great

Wanted to use to keep feet warmer by improving circulation but socks run short up the calf and I am short
