As I shift from TRI season to marathon training I was looking for a well cushioned & lightweight trainer. These Ride 6 were not in my short list, but definitely a great find! Despite the fact I have been training all year in (4mm drop) Saucony Cortana's, the Ride 6 at 8mm drop still feel Ok in my stride, not feel sluggish or bulky AND protect with a bit more heel cushioning.
Just took them out for my second run in them (a 22 miler) and they felt great and my feet were comfy the whole Ride...ha!
As with my other Saucony's the high cushioned tongue and lace lock is solid and the flat laces make for a good snug fit. I will have a hard time deciding my new fave b/n these and the new Cortana 3.
Bring back the Ride 5
Have been running in Saucony Ride for several years. Love the fit and used to be able to get around 500 miles on a pair. They changed the lining in the ride 6 and I wore a hole through the lining in the heel in under 200 miles. At least RRS has the 90 day test run so it wasn't a total loss. Tried 2 other styles of Saucony and also had issues with the heels. Had to switch to asics but the fit is not as good but at least I'm not getting heel blisters and they're holding up.
So far this shoe gets a thumbs up
This is my first pair of Saucony shoes (have been running in Asics for the past 15+ years), and so far I am impressed! I don't have a lot of miles on them, but they feel light on the feet compared to the Asics, and they fit a bit more snug in the width. This is good for me as my feet are a bit on the narrow side. The cushioning seems to be really good - which is a plus for me due to knee and lower back issues.
Stephen, the old guy
Not for me
Just bought them, I have to change the size for a half smaller, and though it feels too wide. I've been having issues with my right arch, ACL, and plantar fascitis . This ones first work for short training, but when going longer on miles (10+) my arch start hurting again. I move to the mizuno wave rider 16, and note the difference. I'll have to return this pair :(
VERY HAPPY WITH THE SHOES
I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THESE SHOES. I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT AT FIRST BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER OWNED SAUCONY SHOES. THEY WERE VERY COMFORTABLE OUT OF THE BOX. THE LACES STAY TIED AND THE INSERTS THAT WE PUT IN THEM HELP A LOT WITH COMFORT. THE SERVICE AND THE CHOICE OF SHOES FROM OUR SALES REP WAS SPOT ON. THANK YOU, BRIAN :)

Another great Saucony Product
This shoe works great. I run 4 times a week and it holds up great. Just know, like its predecessor the Ride 5 there is a break in period of about 2-3 weeks. Its a little stiff at first but once it breaks in and molds to your foot its a great shoe. I've used it up to 13 miles with no problems at all. Another win for Saucony.
Great Lightweight neutral taining shoe
I've been running for over 40 years. I had been running in "performance neutral" shoes on a golf course and roads. I used to use the Jazz and loved it. These shoes have actually helped me dramatically increase my pace. The extra support and cushioning give me the confidence to pound! My form is back!
Like this shoe
I purchased these shoes for my husband. He has been using Sacony for many years now, but he is getting older and has been having knee and hip problems. After walking in these shoes he told me that they were comfortable and experienced no hip or knee pain.
Nice comfortable shoe
I tried my normal size and length was fine but just a little too narrow in forefoot for my borderline wide foot. If you have normal to slender foot it would be fine. Smooth ridin..and responsive...
I run over 30 miles a week and this shoe feels cushioned enough to handle the high miles without having the bulk of a high mileage trainer. Fits the foot really well. Look nice as well.
Love at first stride
I've been running for 25 years now and have tried a variety of neutral running shoes. I am very pleased with the Saucony Ride 6. A wonderful neutral fit with just the right amount of cushioning.

Enjoy the Ride!
I switched to the Ride after many years in Brooks GTS series shoes. I bought them primarily for long run training and eventually to run a winter marathon.
Fleming Island, FL
Great cushioning neutral shoe
I can't imagine running in any other shoe. I've been running in the Rides for about 5 years and are by far the most comfortable shoe for me.
McFly running the plains
Not right for my feet
They have cushioning good for running on roads, but the lack of arch support keeps them from being my choice. They had to be returned.
runs on two
Great running shoes!
Bought these for my husband and his endurance and distance has improved. We are both very please with these running shoes.
Helped my wife who has wide feet accomplish training for and finishing her first triathlon. Now she has another pair for her next event!
What the Glycerin 11 should feel like
I was looking for a shoe to replace my Glycerin 10s after being unhappy with the Glycerin 11 upgrades or should I say downgrades.
Feels very similar to ProGrid Ride
Very comfortable running shoes. I have used ProGrid Ride for many years. I like these as well.
Nice shoe after 2 long runs
I bought 1/2 size larger as suggested and toe box feels loose. Very light and comfortable.
Ride 6 - 150 lb with ~ 30 miles per week
Can't beat Saucony for the fit and durability.
