Previously wore several pairs of the guide 6- love the 7s as much. I'm 250 miles in to this pair of guide 7s and they are going strong. Training for a marathon now, so am looking to add another pair into my rotation. I can't complain about their performance- I currently run 30ish miles per week and am building on 14 mile long runs. I tend to sweat and the shoes get wet on longer runs, but they are dry quickly. I have some smaller blisters on my toes and the side of my foot (with good socks and two toms powder), but they arent painful and I got them wearing the guide 6 too. I have very high arches and even tried adding an orthotic into the shoe, but hated it and prefer the shoe as is. Years ago I was a nike wearer for my higher arches, but had knee pain and was much slower- love these shoes and plan to stick with them. While its never the deciding factor in a good shoe, I like the colors a little better for these.
Bought 2 pairs!
I am so happy I found these shoes!! I will never go back! I was wearing the Brooks Ravenna and getting blisters no matter what I did while training for my half marathon. I bought every kind of sock, coated my feet with glide, and even taped my feet but nothing worked! That is until i realized I was just in the wrong shoe for my feet. I have narrow feet with high arches that mildly over pronate when I am running. If you have similar issues give these shoes a try! You will not be disappointed, and I get so many compliments on how cute they are!!
Believe the Hype!
This is my first pair of Guides. I've been running in Hurricane 15's. When it came time to get a new pair of running shoes I decided to get the Guides. I was sceptical that they would live up to all the hype but so far they have. I have fairly flat feet. I overpronate and they help correct that. I wear custom insoles also and they fit perfectly. Had to size up 1/2 size. I'm a 55 year old woman who runs an average of 15 miles a week. Haven't had these long enough to rate their durability but I expect they will perform as well my Hurricanes.

These shoes are a dream. I feel so comfortable in these shoes. My foot feels "guided" but not restricted. I love the even/flat contact the shoe makes with the ground as I am running and the cushioning gives such a plush feel. Even on long runs I finish with my feet and legs finish feeling fresh - no aches or pains.
Definitely recommend this shoe for people clocking up some kms who are looking for a reliable running shoe

great shoes...ran in guide 6 all last year and was nervous about "new" version, but fit great and are very simialr...which is good cause i hate having to start from scratch and find a new go-to shoe
only drawback (as with pretty much all running shoes) very limited color options in womens wide sizes....c'mon Saucony, i cannot possibly be the only one needing "wide" running shoes, since they all run so narrow....
LOVE the Guides!
I was an avid Asics wearer until all of their "updates" ruined everything that made their shoes worthwhile. The running clerk recommended these to help combat my plantar fasciitis and she talked me into them. Now, you can't talk me out of them! I teach for 8 hours a day and am constantly on my feet, and then I'm off to the gym and my Guides keep up with me. Despite using inserts too, I wish they'd last me more than 3 months before my feet start hurting again and it's time to replace them.
Ann Arbor, MI
I bought these to wear as my "everyday" tennis shoes...have had problems with plantars fasciitis in the past and need a comfortable tennis shoe to wear with jeans while running errands. I usually wear Brooks Adrenaline for running and exercising but I found that these saucony shoes have been so comfortable for my everyday use, even with orthotics. Great shoe for me.
very dissappointed with the change
I don't like the upgrade. I was very dissappointed. They fit entirely differently then my Guide 5's which I loved. They are extremely uncomfortable. The arch support is gone and the soles feel very hard; no cushoning at all. They are about a 1/2 size too small. I have been running in size 8 1/2 running shoes for more than 20 years. I really like the new colors they are fun.
Finally decent color choice!
I have been wearing the ProGrid Guide for years and LOVED everything about them except for the color options! Occassionally I would stray to something else because I just couldn't take the boring options and then would immediately regret it! These are the only shoes that work well consistently for my feet. Finally some good colors to pick from-thanks Saucony!
i am a believer
I was really frustrated after mizuno changed the wave inspire design. Reluctantly I tried these shoes and WOW . I ran 18 miles in these ... no blisters no aches no complaints . Usually I purchase a wide but the regular size was perfect the toe box has the perfect amount of room in it. my foot felt great in these .
I use this shoe for road and trail runs and have good experiences on both. My feet run wide and I get the wide size. The fit is good, but a tad bit loose in the ankle. I have plantar fascitis and this shoe works well with an insert.
My go to shoe....
Love These shoes!! My only shoe that I'll wear whether I'm training for a marathon or just maintaining fitness. Great quality and good stability! Well worth the money!!
Started running again after few years off. Used older running shoes and had heel issue. Started running with the new Guide 7 and running has become a joy again.
Saucony Guide 7(blue and Pink) Review
I love the sneakers but I have been wearing the blue and pink Saucony Guide 7's for two weeks and out of the blue they started squeaking when I walk.
Bought men's saucony guide 7
The women's b width wasn't wide enough so I wound up with the men's medium width. Like the men's color better too.
Lightweight, comfortable solid shoe!
I added graphite SuperFeet to my pair as I needed better arch support. With the inserts, the shoes fit perfectly!
Love the feel of this shoe!
This shoe is incredibly comfortable, and my runs have felt easier because of the light weight of the shoe.
High Point, NC
Awesome support shoe!!
I use these for road, track and treadmill running. Great for all of them.
Great lightweight shoe!
I use these shoes for running - very comfortable and light weight.
