Comments about Womens Saucony Powergrid Triumph 9 Running Shoe:
I have run in Saucony for 30+ years and have always been a big supporter of the brand. I researched these shoes and purchased them with the knowledge that there would be an adjustment period. I ran in them for nine months and still felt like I was "adjusting". I had calf cramps and hip pain in one hip during and after every run. Only two months into running in these shoes, I developed a hole in the upper where my big toe hits. I sewed it up and kept going. Recently, I developed a hole in the other foot, in the same place. I finally gave up. I decided to purchase another brand of shoe, since most of Saucony's top shoes have gone to the lower drop system. I was speculating that was the cause of my pains. I've run in the new brand for 3 weeks now and I am pain free. No more calf nor hip pain! Sorry Saucony, but I'm sadly giving up your brand.
