I do a daily power walk of 4 to 5 miles at work during my lunch hour on pavement. These shoes are very comfortable and I can wear them with business casual clothes. With heavier socks, I could have used a 1/2 size larger, but then they may have been too loose with thinner socks. I tend to get warm feet and these breathe well for all day use to keep my feet from feeling too warm.
I've only worn them twice. I hope they will stretch a little. I wore thin socks with them, but my toes feel a little pressed.
It says can be worn without socks. I haven't tried that, but I think I will. The material on the inside grabs at my socks when inserting my foot, and makes them bunch underneath my foot.
Best Walking Shoe I have ever owned
I was a runner for 25 years, for the last 15 avid walker; average 8 hours a day. Have owned running, hiking, cross training, and walking shoes. The Gowalk 2 Flash is one of the best I have ever owned, flexible, light, great support, and so comfortable! Will keep a pair of these shoes in my inventory. Great shoe if you walk a little, a lot, or for just a comfortable casual shoe.

So very comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wear these almost all day----shopping, dog walking, working in the yard. I do not need my orthotics with these! The cushioning is so comfortable I could, and do---wear them all day!!!
very comfy shoe, but noisy on smooth surfaces
As someone else said:
"Also, the traction pattern on the shoe is such that when I walk on a floor that is smooth-ish, it creates a suction "pop" with every step, and is quite possibly the most annoying thing in the whole world."
The shoe is great for my ankle. I ruined my ankle a few years ago with a sub talar dislocation, talus fracture, and over a dozen separate fractures. I needed a shoe that would help me not walk with constant pain and I came across recommendations for this shoe. After trying a memory foam shoe (which was terrible for my ankle), I tried these. Bought a black/black for work and black/white for non-work because it felt so comfortable.
Biggest (only?) complaint might not even be noticed by many buyers if you are always on concrete or blacktop like I usually am with my black/white pair. However, if you are walking on tile floor, you will notice that as soon as the little bit of tread on the raised sole bumps wear out, which is pretty quickly, the raised bumps turn into suction cups causing the noise the quote above mentions. It is really loud and annoying and I find myself walking a little on the outsides of my foot to lessen the "slurping" noise. Obviously that is not a comfortable walking style. I don't really see a way the shoe can be redesigned to avoid this suction effect without losing the cushion effect.
Comfort and fit keeps feet feeling great
I wear these everyday. I work on my feet on concrete floors. Although I prefer the discontinued shape ups, these keep my feet from aching at the end of the day.

Love Skechers Gowalk shoes!
The Gowalk 2 shoes are really comfortable. However, when I purchased the shoes, I thought they just looked like they lace up. Based on the online picture of the shoes, I thought they would actually be slip on shoes. I do not like fussing with laces. I was really surprised to find the shoes had to be laced up. Since they are so comfortable, I decided to keep them.
FYI, recently I tried on a pair of the new Gowalk "lace up look alike" shoes in a store. They were not comfortable. To my surprise, they were too tight across my instep. I did not buy them. Upon examining my old pair of Gowalk shoes, I realized the difference. The new "lace up look alike" shoes have an elastic band across the instep and the shoe does not have a tongue. This may be a cost saving measure, but it reduces the comfort level of the shoe. I have talked several friends and family members into trying Gowalk shoes in the past. They all prefer the "lace up look alike" shoe and they will not like your new design change.
I work 10 1/2-11 hr shifts as a cashier/clerk for a busy store. I bought these because I have developed plantar fasciitis in my left heel. They are comfortable shoes and well cushioned but I still ended up putting in an insert. However they have relieved some of the discomfort I had felt before.
A great walking shoe
I normally wear a size 10 1/2 or 11. When I bought the size 11 of this Skechers GOwalk 2 - Flash LT, I thought that it felt a little bit short when I walked in it. But I loved the cushioning and the ultra-lightweight of this shoe, so I started using it for Zumba, and it was perfect for that! I went to the Skechers web site to see about getting a size 11 1/2, only to find out that it was not in stock, but I could be notified if/when they ever made it again. It was about 2 months later that I received the email notice that the size 11 1/2 was now available. I immediately went to their web site and ordered them. (I have never bought a size 11 1/2 for any shoe ever before.) They were delivered quickly, and they work great as my new walking shoes! Bottom line is that these are excellent shoes, but the sizing may be a little smaller than other shoes.
Very comfortable shoes
I own several styles of Skechers, and I really like these for looks (friends and clients (PT) love them. I bought them in white with light blue trim, and they look so clean and pretty. Tired of always wearing bright colored athletic shoes and being concerned about clashing with my workout clothes. :) The soles are very squishy, but in a good way, as they really feel springy when you walk in them. I can't speak for durability as I've used them 4-5 times in the couple of weeks I've had them. Wore them for a 4 mile fitness walk and they were fine. I have a bunion on one foot and they are comfortable, something I have a problem with.
I have been a frequent purchaser of the former Go Walk this sneaker is based on - and by frequent I mean that I was buying a pair every 6 months. I work on a concrete floor, bending, lifting and walking all day. I like my job - I have been doing it for 17 years - but it has slowly taken it's toll on my feet, ankles, knees and lower back. By the time I would get home I would lie on the couch throbbing in pain. Out of desparation I purchased my first pair of the Go Walk sneaker - and I can tell you the difference it has made in my work (and consequently my not-work) -life has been nothing short of glorious. No pain. None. Lightweight, flexible, comfortable, shock absorbing, a minimal shoe that did not interfere with my foot function - it has been a game-changer for me. The sole on the former shoe wore out at a frightening rate however, forcing me to buy as I mentioned, two or three times a year - but I did so happily because it had such a in impact on the pain and stiffness I had been experiencing. My story ends with the discovery that the new design did not come available in Wide Width. Slip-ons do not work for me as I have a high instep, and I do not wish to throw money trying sneaker after sneaker as I did before finding the former Go Walk (and while there is a Sketchers store nearby they do not stock wide widths to ease my search). Sketchers - once upon a time you had a reputation for people like me that did not have storybook princess-sized feet; I will turn the internet upside down to find any remaining hoarded stock of Go Walks in the wide width and then resume my search for a shoe that allows me to remain upright like a normal human being after working all day.
Everything I Wanted and More
I've been buying Skechers for about five years. This was the first time I tried this style and was surprised how comfortable the shoes were. I travel a lot and mix work with sightseeing. I wanted a pair of shoes that would look nice in a casual work environment and also be comfortable for walking (so I wouldn't have to bring as many pairs of shoes with me on trips). On my recent trip, I did several 8 to 10 hour sightseeing days (in Rome and Athens) on my feet and walking the whole time. Shoes felt wonderful! Most comfortable I've ever felt being on my feet for that long.

Love Skecher GOwalks
I can find nothing wrong with the shoes. I will continue to purchase them when in need of shoes. I need something that does not weight a ton as I had knee surgery and these seem to be the only shoe that I can wear with no bad effects on the knee.
The only problem I do have with the shoes is I forgot to put them up one night and my puppy got them and chewed the insole out of one. I would love to replace the insole. Is it possible to purchase just an insole for the right shoe?
I'm in love with this shoe! I just bought my second pair of this style. Your goga mat footbed is the most comfortable footbed I've ever owned in a shoe. For the first time in years,I'm can walk without foot pain. Please continue to make this shoe forever. Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I have recommended it to anyone and everyone who will listen. One of my daughters recently visited me from out of town and also bought this shoe, after my having raved about it. She went home wearing them and smiling!
I had a broken ankle that never healed properly and it has been very hard to find shoes that are comfortable. I also have flat feet and most of the time my feet hurt after walking more than 30 minutes. I tried Skechers just last year and I wish I'd tried them years ago. These are the best shoes I've had since my injury. I have nothing bad to say about these shoes. I highly recommend them for people with bad feet. I will always buy Skechers from now on.
Your feet will thank you!
I cannot express how grateful I am for these type of shoes. My job consist of me being on my feet walking back and forth my entire shift. These shoes have helped me to endure my long standing shifts and put a few extra steps into my day. I go home now without feeling I have walked 100 miles and my feet no longer hurt. The funny thing is I used to wear skechers to work before but when they were worn out I bought something different and I paid the price. I will never use anything for work again except Skechers.

The shoes are comfortable, but it is difficult to pull the tongue up high enough so the shoe doesn't hit the top of my foot with every step.
As far as durability, it seems that the sole wears out pretty quickly. I've had the shoes about a month and the sole is quickly wearing down.
The only reason that I chose "Yes, I would recommend this to a friend," is because there are only two choices, I need something in the middle that illustrates I might or might not recommend to a friend.
This my second pair this year
I walk 3+ miles everyday, and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wore out my 1st pair in 4 months - a hole right through the heels in both shoes. Also, here in Florida we have some weeds in our yards, and the "seeds" from those weeds stick to the fabric on the top of the shoe. If you could make the upper in leather that problem would be solved. Maybe the bottoms could be made of a stronger material so they would last longer.

Terrific Shoe - Very Comfortable
I am very satisfied with my shoes. They are probably the most comfortable I have ever worn. I am cpncern over there durability but I have only had them for about a month so I don't have a good sense. I kied them enough to buy a pair of running shoes for my wife and if she likes them I will probably buy a pair for myself. I am also looking at your boots, but again, I am concerned with their durability. Only time will tell but so I far I think you have a winner.
Terrible quality - They are totally shot after only 3 weeks.
I tried these on in the store and fell in love with them. They were so comfortable, cushiony, and I felt as if I was walking on air. Each step was a pleasure - I floated, I bounced, I flew!
BUT, after less than 3 weeks, the foam is totally flat. The cushioning is gone, and I feel every little pebble that I step on.
Sneakers should not be made to be disposable. I expect a pair of shoes to last for more than three WEEKS.
These 'Size 12's' are surprisingly, the lightest, most comfortable and easy to wear gym shoes I have ever owned! :-o
'The jury is still out' on the durability issue, as these are the first pair of Skechers I have ever owned, although several friends have recommended the brand to me before.
So, I will be happy tp review that aspect of these seemingly great shoes in a year or so. :-)
Nice LOOKING shoes...
I really liked the look of this shoe. Since I own other Skechers shoes, my expectations were high. However, the insoles wore out flat as a sheet of paper in 2 days. There was no arch support at all. With no inside cushion, it was like walking on a bed of rocks. I am currently trying to salvage the shoe by experimenting with other insoles. Sorry, I am totally disappointed.

3rd pair of Skechers GOwalk 2 - Flash LT.
I have a pair of the GOwalk -2 in black that I bought for work because I walk 5 - 10 miles a night on concrete. I have found that I wear these shoes so much for casual, work and yardwork that they are looking like I wear them all the time; which I do. So I bought two more pair of the GOwalk- 2, one in black and one in white to wear for the times I need to look cleaned up.
Shoes like these will keep me coming bak
Being a large person who is active, it is nice having a pair of shoes that are so comfortable. I walk easier in them and feel much more supported than typical similar priced running shoes The Go-mat provides an amazing sensation of weightless shock-absorption while firmly gipping any walking surface. So far they seem very durable as well.

Fantastic shoes like walking on air
I have had three foot surgeries and finding a pair of shoes that fit and were comfortable, and didn't look like medical shoes. The only issue I have with the shoes is that they are to wide in the toe area and further up the foot. Otherwise, these shoes are great for my walking. My legs don't hurt when walking anymore.
Best shoe EVER designed!!!
Honestly this is the most comfortable shoe I have EVER worn! I have suffered with plantar fascitis for years and no shoe has come close to offering me the comfort and support of these shoes. I was at the gym the other day and I just kept walking ...3.6 miles with NO pain! Thank you skechers!!! I LOVE THEM!!! just ordered two more pairs!
BEST WALKING SHOES EVER!!!
I have gone through MANY sneakers without a lot of comfort! These are the BEST, most lightweight, comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I am going back right now and buying 3 more pairs because I am so afraid they will stop making them! I would love to see them in more colors also! I use them for walking 4-5 miles a day.
The shoes are comfortable for normal use, HOWEVER, must be tied very tight to avoid blisters when I walk on an incline treadmill, never had that issue with other shoes.
Also, the traction pattern on the shoe is such that when I walk on a floor that is smooth-ish, it creates a suction "pop" with every step, and is quite possibly the most annoying thing in the whole world.
Won't buy shoes again
I usually buy your shoes but these are the second pair in 4 months. The first pair I wore a hole in the large toe after only 4 months with the memory foam shoes . Now I bought the Go walk shoes and after the first week the soles on both shoes are wearing out badly .These will be the last shoes I buy from Skechers.

yoga mat sticky
I have been using go walks to walk 5 miles daily for ten years, and wear a 7, the last pair was so tight 2 of my nails turned black, I sent them back and got an 8 which is much better. the yoga mat material is comfortable , but it is hard to keep from bunching your sock up when you put them on because it is very grabby.
