I am an older runner and have symptoms of metatarsalitis. This sock gives me the extra cushion and support to reduce those symptoms. If you are serious about running the right equipment makes a huge difference. Thorlos work great for me.

I'm a older recreational runner doing everything from 5k to half marathons. Once my wife introduced me to Thorlo socks I find it hard to run without them. They just feel right. Good cushion and comfortable throughout my runs. She runs and uses them for gym workouts as well and we hike in them.

I used this style sock for years, but haven't been able to find it in stores lately. Tried the Experia, but it failed within a month...the material between the heel and forefoot pads was too flimsy. The Lite is a much better sock for my money.
