Comments about Mens Brooks Essential 7" 2-in-1 Shorts:
Good shorts. Some folks have complained about these being too baggy.
That's the intended feature of these shorts, to allow free movement, especially while running (for those preferring a more formfitting short, there are "semi-fit" and "form-fit" shorts available; those fits are just too restrictive for my legs). The only complaint I would have is that I wanted a material with more of a lightweight "cotton" feel but, apparently, vendors no longer use that type of material. I just don't like the "finished" feeling of the "newer" material most shorts are made of, especially when they get wet from sweat. They just don't seem to dissipate the sweat as well as the material in some of my older Speedos (lightweight, "cloth"-like, material). Again, personal preferences.
Bottom line: if you're looking for pocketed (shallow), lightweight shorts, suitable for running, these are probably one of the best available. We haven't been able to find anything better.
Feels true to size

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments about Womens Brooks Infiniti 6" Tight III Fitted Shorts:
These actually stayed put! My only concern is about inseam length (and I'm just being lazy here--I could easily go upstairs with a ruler . . . but I haven't yet): they are listed with a 6" inseam here, but the manufacturer's website lists them as having a 7" inseam. Not sure which is correct, but I don't care too much because I LOVE THEM. I wore them out first for a 7-miler, and never EVER thought about them. Can't ask for more than that!
