Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Hayate Trail Running Shoe:

As a forefoot runner I find the Mizuno Wave Hayate to be amazing on the streets and on the less beaten path. Right out the box and onto the pavement for a three-miler; these shoes felt amazing, did not overcorrect my feet and allowed me to maintain the integrity of stride even though I normally run in the Mizuno Wave Ferus.
After a series of examinations by the amazing personnel of RoadrunnerSports, I have tried running in the Asics Gel Kayano 20 and the Saucony Fast Twitch 6 but neither compared to the Mizuno Wave Hayate. The Kayano had to much cushioning for me to feel the ground beneath me and the Fast Twitch over corrected my feet causing my ankles to scream in pain.
The Hayate is just right. A step up from the Wave Ferus (which is personally my favorite running shoe) allowing me to take to the road and not be destroyed by the pavement.
I normally wear a 12, so I ordered a half size up and while this was sufficient I feel a full size up may be a tad better.

    Lighter

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 16 Running Shoe:

The Wave Rider 16 fits similarly to the 15 version, but has lost a lot of weight, making runs feel quicker and lighter. This isn't the most cushiony shoe, but is extremely durable and supportive during long runs. I use this shoe to train and am pleased with the update. Must purchase 1/2 size up.

Happy to see this in wide

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Inspire 9 Running Shoe:

I really love Mizunos but have been dissapointed by their options for widths in a stability shoe. Being a larger guy, I need a wide shoe with solid support. I was extremely happy when my shoe fit expert told me about the Wave Inpire 9s coming in 2E (wide). These shoes are extremely comfortable and fit great. I have not had any knee pain (which is an issue of mine) since buying these shoes. Keep up the good work Mizuno!
