Comments about Inov-8 TrailRoc 255 Trail Running Shoe:

After near daily use for more than a year, these are my go to trail shoes. They are light, great protection, great heal stability and toe box width, incredible grip in all conditions. You are headed for great things in these shoes. I remain very impressed with everything except durability. But I may be a bit unfair here. I have put these shoes though every kind of grind and then with only a little of the right toe box unraveling at the top and moderate sole wear, I took them to Half Dome in August 2013. I am not representing these as technical climbing shoes, but they still gripped well on the slick granite going up the cables. All the Half Dome folks are saying " WOW!!". I got my money's worth and more from these shoes and plan on getting a pair of the new model soon.

Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe:

I'm a neutral runner and I normally run in a very cushioned Saucony neutral running shoe with a 12 mm heel-toe drop. These have served me well for years. However, I wanted to venture into experimenting with more minimal running shoes so I decided to try the Saucony Progrid Kinvara Tr. (4 mm heel-toe drop). I live in the mountains and I do a mix of road and trail running. These shoes are simply amazing!! Super lightweight, perfect light cushioning, yet I can feel the ground and respond quickly. They feel like they were made for my feet. Absolutely no blisters and no pressure points anywhere. My calves were a little sore the first couple times due to becoming accustomed to minimal shoes, but they quickly adjusted. My mileage has increased significantly with these shoes. It sometimes feels like I could just run forever in them. Couldn't be more pleased!
Like all running shoes, particularly Saucony, it is advisable to size up 1/2 to 1 whole size.
