Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 14 Running Shoe:
I use these shoes for running only, on a combination of dirt running trail and road. I am very picky about fit (can't stand long, wide "clown shoe" fit, and can't tolerate any tightness or pressure in the toes). I am a size 8.5 in most shoes (running and other). I bought these in an 8, based on how the first generation Glide fits me, and the fit is perfect. I find the toe box wider than most Nikes (a PRO for me). The length is just right, with just a little bit of extra space--but not a whole extra inch.
So if I bought my running shoes with that added one inch in the toe (which is usually recommended), I would call these true to size (and would be wearing 8.5).
I cannot imagine going a half size up to a 9.
These are very comfortable. Nice cushioning. I've gone on several 6 mile runs in them. No "breaking in" necessary. No rubbing, no blisters.
They feel stable, but they do not have a "built up" structured feeling. I would not recommend these to people who like to feel the arch structure of a shoe when they run.
I also like the very simple style and color. These are not "look-at-me" shoes. That's also a PRO for me. However, it would be nice if Nike added some newer features, or a cool lacing system.
Feels true to size
Feels true to width
