Comments about Womens Saucony Peregrine 4 Trail Running Shoe:

I got these shoes the week before the 2014 Little Rock Marathon and took them with me for 'recovery wear' not intending to run the race in them. I was planning to use my Kinvara 4's for that. The morning of the race the forecast was rain, rain, and more rain. Usually I save my trail shoes for trails but with the rain I wanted to stay dry as possible and wore the new perigines on their first run, a full 26.2 miles. I experienced no trouble and little blistering (I blister easily and this is in injinji socks) . My feet were dry until approximately mile 25 as the rain turned to sleet. These shoes are nearly as awesome as the beloved Kinvara 2's. If you are looking for a minimalist trail shoe with a rock plate give these a try.

Comments about Womens Saucony Kinvara TR2 Trail Running Shoe:

After looking at the last review, I bought these for the 2014 NorCal Tough Mudder. I absolutely loved them. I bought them a half size smaller than my everyday athletic shoes. I'm sort of between sizes 7.5 and 8. I bought these in a 7.5 so they would stay snug in the heavy mud. They worked great. Never had any issues with comfort as heavily loaded as they got with mud. Traction was good on the obstacles and difficult terrain. I tired to save them after the course but I don't think they will survive with all that mud and sediment. Definitely will replace them with another pair for the next race.

Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe:

I'm a neutral runner and I normally run in a very cushioned Saucony neutral running shoe with a 12 mm heel-toe drop. These have served me well for years. However, I wanted to venture into experimenting with more minimal running shoes so I decided to try the Saucony Progrid Kinvara Tr. (4 mm heel-toe drop). I live in the mountains and I do a mix of road and trail running. These shoes are simply amazing!! Super lightweight, perfect light cushioning, yet I can feel the ground and respond quickly. They feel like they were made for my feet. Absolutely no blisters and no pressure points anywhere. My calves were a little sore the first couple times due to becoming accustomed to minimal shoes, but they quickly adjusted. My mileage has increased significantly with these shoes. It sometimes feels like I could just run forever in them. Couldn't be more pleased!
Like all running shoes, particularly Saucony, it is advisable to size up 1/2 to 1 whole size.
